Chapter 191 Let it go

Yunyang huddled under the covers, her forehead beaded with cold sweat, her brows furrowed deeply, and her lips trembling slightly.

It seemed to be murmuring something.

In her dream, she stood in a vast, misty expanse, surrounded by emptiness, the ground beneath her feet icy cold.

She looked around, but couldn't see anything clearly.

Only the sound of low footsteps could be heard in the distance.

Calm and powerful,

It felt like stepping on her heart, each step suffocating her.

"Yun Yang".

That was Jing Min's voice, deep and cold.

"I told you I would let you go."

Jing Min's voice rang out again, carrying a hint of meaningful sarcasm.

The voice grew clearer, and his figure gradually emerged from the mist.

He wore a dark suit, a cold smile on his face, and his eyes were as cold as ice.

"But……"

He suddenly stopped, leaned slightly closer to her, and spoke in a low, suppressed voice.

"I never said I would let you off easily."

Yun Yang's pupils suddenly dilated, and her throat felt as if something was blocking it, preventing her from making any sound.

She shook her head frantically, trying to explain and defend herself.

Jing Min looked at her, slowly straightened up, and suddenly a sharp dagger appeared in his hand.

The dagger gleamed with a cold light, its sharpness almost blinding.

He raised the dagger, twirling it lightly between his fingers, the chilling smirk still playing on his lips.

"Yunyang, does it hurt? If it doesn't hurt, do you want me to 'feel' it for you again?"

"No, don't..."

Yunyang finally found a bit of strength and screamed in terror, her voice hoarse and desperate.

She crawled backward with all her might, her body trembling uncontrollably like a sieve, tears silently streaming down her cheeks.

Jing Min's footsteps drew closer, the dagger in his hand gleaming coldly as he slowly pointed it in her direction.

"Now, do you know what pain is? If you had known this earlier, why were you so greedy?"

Yunyang's tears flowed like a spring; she shook her head repeatedly, desperately trying to stand up.

But he found that his legs seemed to be chained and he could not move.

Just as the dagger was about to pierce her, she screamed and covered her head with her hands:

"don't want!"

Yun Yang suddenly woke up from her dream, panting heavily, her forehead soaked with cold sweat.

She sat blankly on the bed, staring straight ahead, her heart pounding as if it would burst from her chest.

She trembled as she threw back the covers and instinctively touched the scar on her thigh.

It still hurts a little there.

She curled up against the headboard, her eyes red and swollen, her expression blank, and she murmured:

"No...no...he wouldn't do this to me..."

She couldn't close her eyes all night; she could only hug her knees and tremble with boundless fear.

My mind kept replaying the night Jingmin drank the hangover soup laced with drugs...
