Chapter 202 No Compromise

Chu Wuyang's pupils contracted slightly upon hearing this, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

Yun Yang had been calmly going through the motions, but when she heard Jing Min's words, she felt a little lost.

As Jingmin instructed, she needed to cooperate with his "kidnapping."

Jing Min then appeared at the crucial moment to rescue him.

But this is not a typical hero saving a damsel in distress; it is a psychological game.

As planned, the fake kidnappers will create a dilemma where they cannot save both people at the same time, forcing Jing Min to make a choice.

The original script required him to portray extreme inner conflict and pain.

She, on the other hand, would use her tender emotions and memories to win Jing Min over, making him realize that she was his true love.

This was intended to strike at Chu Wuyang, making her realize that she had truly lost Jingmin.

Yun Yang had assumed that Jing Min would proceed according to plan.

But his choice surprised her—this impromptu performance completely deviated from the original script.

However, she understood that Jing Min likely wanted to test Chu Wuyang in a more complex way.

Let's see if she only realizes her true feelings after she has completely lost them.

For Yunyang, however, this kind of "improvisational performance" undoubtedly put her under immense pressure.

Because Jingmin had already warned her:

If the plan fails to be implemented perfectly, the blame will fall on her.

If anything goes wrong, he will settle all the scores with her for all her previous deceptions…

Thinking of this, Yunyang's heart suddenly tightened.

She suddenly realized that she might need to intervene to get the plan back on track.

She gritted her teeth, steeled her resolve, and decided to stop waiting.

Instead, they actively drive the plot forward.

Yun Yang took a deep breath, a resolute glint in her eyes.

Then, in a voice that sounded slightly trembling yet unusually firm, he shouted loudly:

"Jingmin! Have you forgotten that you said I'm the person you love most?"

"You said you would divorce your husband and marry me, and stay with me forever! Have you forgotten our child?"

"Do you remember how happy you were when you found out I was pregnant? Jingmin, you can't just give up on our child like this!"

The moment the words left his mouth, the air froze...

Jing Min raised his head and looked coldly at Yun Yang.

He narrowed his eyes, a cold glint flashing in them, but a dangerous smile curled at the corner of his mouth, as if he had heard the funniest joke. His expression was so cold it sent chills down one's spine.

Upon hearing this, Chu Wuyang's lips twitched slightly, her expression complex and unreadable, with a hint of mockery in her eyes.

Cheng-ge, who was standing to the side, was stunned for a moment.

Then, as if he had heard some interesting news, a hint of surprise and curiosity flashed in his eyes.

He looked down at Yun Yang, who was still clutching her stomach, and suddenly burst into laughter, his tone exaggerated and somewhat teasing:

"Oh my, congratulations, Mr. Jing! I didn't know you were going to be a father soon! That's wonderful news!"

Then, he changed the subject, revealing a fake expression of regret.

His gaze swept over Chu Wuyang with a half-smile, his tone carrying a deliberate sympathy:

Cheng-ge spoke in a flippant and sarcastic tone, with a fake smile on his face:

"Oh dear, then I won't make things difficult for President Jing!"

"Guards, release this young lady. But be careful not to bump into anything, she's pregnant."

"President Jing's little sweetheart is too delicate, how could she stand our brothers' roughness?"

"If something were to happen to this baby by accident, it would be a grave sin!"

Every word he spoke was like a knife, piercing Chu Wuyang with precision.

Jing Min stood to the side, radiating a low-pressure aura, his face frighteningly gloomy, yet he didn't utter a single word.

Unbound, Yun Yang felt weak all over, revealing an expression of relief as if she had narrowly escaped death.

She wanted to take Jingmin's arm, but hesitated because of his indifference, and then tremblingly withdrew her hand.

Cheng-ge seems to be enjoying this awkward situation.

He slowly pulled out a bottle of antidote, shook it, and handed it to the person next to him, his tone full of meaning:

"Mr. Jing, don't worry, this little bit of medicine isn't fatal, it just makes things more fun."

"Here, give the antidote to this young lady. We can't let anything happen to President Jing's baby. This is also a way to 'clean up the mess'."

Jing Min suddenly looked up at the medicine, his gaze as cold as a knife.

He stared at Cheng Ge for a moment, his voice icy:

"Yeah?"

Cheng chuckled, seemingly oblivious to the danger, and instead shrugged smugly:

"What, Mr. Jing, are you surprised? We brothers just like this kind of thing. Without a little 'excitement,' how can we have a good time?"

Jing Min curled the corners of his mouth, but his smile was chilling.

He glanced at his watch, then suddenly turned around and fixed his gaze on Chu Wuyang, who was already swaying precariously.

"Why don't you beg me?"

Yun Yang was stunned, wondering why Jing Min had deviated from the plot again.

But she dared not say a word, and could only lower her head, clench her hands tightly, and hide her slightly trembling fingertips.

She could only attribute Jingmin's sudden change to him being emotionally affected while acting.

But a sense of unease welled up inside me.

Chu Wuyang's breathing had become rapid, her cheeks were flushed with an unnatural redness, and her body was trembling slightly.

She knew the medicine was already taking effect.

She tried to steady herself, clenched her fists, and stared at the man in front of her.

His eyes were deep and unfathomable.

"Beg me!"

Jing Min repeated, his voice low but tinged with impatience.

“If you admit you’re wrong, I’ll take you away.”

Chu Wuyang's vision was somewhat blurred, her mind felt like it was filled with cotton wool, and her words had become fragmented.

She gritted her teeth and spoke with difficulty:

"I beg you... you'll take me away? Regardless of Yunyang... and her child?"

"yes!"

Jingmin answered without hesitation, his tone so certain that no one could question him.

Chu Wuyang's gaze fell on Yun Yang.

She was standing nestled against Jing Min, a sight that stung her eyes.

If she compromises, what's the difference from before? Jing Min still acts like he's in control.

And now, there's even Yun Yang—an inseparable entity no matter what.

She closed her eyes slightly, forcing herself to ignore the physical discomfort and the inner struggle.

It's better to end it completely than to open up.

Jing Min looked at her stubborn and silent appearance, and a moment of pain flashed in his eyes, but it was gone in an instant.

She would rather be...

And he's unwilling to compromise and admit his mistakes?

Doesn't she regret pushing him to someone else at all?

His gaze turned cold, and a smile that could almost be described as mocking curled at the corner of his mouth.

He whispered, "Very good!"

Then, he turned to look at Yun Yang, his tone indifferent:

"Let's go!"

Yun Yang was startled and subconsciously looked up at Chu Wuyang.

But when she met Jing Min's cold face, she quickly lowered her head and obediently followed him.

Chu Wuyang sat upright, her back straight, like a straw that was about to break but refused to bend.
