"Sit down, eat while it's hot."
Chu Wuyang sat down in the chair, paused slightly when her fingers touched the cutlery, and tentatively asked:
"Did you make this?"
Jingmin smiled faintly.
"yes."
She was stunned.
I was shocked to find that he would cook himself.
She seemed to have never seen this side of him before.
She lowered her eyes and carefully took a bite of the sandwich.
The taste was surprisingly good; the toast was crispy, the fried egg was perfectly cooked, and it was served with refreshing vegetables—simple yet satisfying.
Chu Wuyang couldn't help but eat a few more bites.
Jingmin sipped his coffee while observing her discreetly.
Seeing that she was eating earnestly and with great satisfaction, the smile on his lips deepened.
He put down his coffee cup and said:
"Is it alright? If you want to eat it, I'll make it for you every day."
"after?"
Chu Wuyang raised her head, frowned slightly, and spoke with a hint of uncertainty.
Jing Min stared intently at her, his tone calm and matter-of-fact:
"Of course there will be a future."
"You don't actually want to divorce me, do you?"
Chu Wuyang lowered her head and slowly placed the food back on the plate.
Her voice wasn't loud, but it carried a hint of suppressed emotion.
Why not divorce?
Jing Min leaned forward slightly, placed his hands on the table, and looked at her with such focused attention that it seemed he wanted to dissect her from head to toe.
He countered with a low but firm voice:
"reason."
Chu Wuyang pursed her lips into a thin line.
She originally wanted to directly tell him "you cheated on me," but he had already said last night that it was all an act.
As for any past grievances during filming, those need to be settled later; using them as a reason at this point is indeed untenable.
She thought for a moment, then looked up.
You're sick!
Jing Min was taken aback, then slowly leaned back in his chair, a faint smile appearing on his lips.
"Yes, I admit it. But I'm already seeing a doctor for treatment."
As he spoke, his tone softened, and his gaze became like a deep, unfathomable pool, revealing a calm sincerity.
