The door was suddenly kicked open with a loud bang, the deafening sound echoing in the empty castle hall.
Jin Zhuoer stormed in, his face full of anger.
He entered the house with a murderous look in his eyes, his gaze fixed on Chu Wuyang.
Chu Wuyang stared wide-eyed at Jin Zhuoer in front of her, a bad premonition rising in her heart.
She instinctively took a step back and asked in a cold voice:
"what are you up to?"
Jin Zhuoer glanced at her and sneered.
"Jing Min is a heartless madman; he actually dared to lay a hand on my two sons!"
"Then I don't need to show any mercy to his woman."
Almost in the blink of an eye, he swiftly lunged forward and grabbed Chu Wuyang by the neck.
Chu Wuyang cried out in pain.
Her face flushed, but she couldn't help but chuckle softly.
He just said that Jingmin targeted his two sons?
Does this mean that Jingmin has now safely woken up?
It must be, otherwise they wouldn't have taken retaliatory measures so immediately.
"Let her go!"

He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes flashing with anger as he questioned,
"Zhou Heng, do you want to betray me?"
His words were sharp and laced with disdain.
"Don't forget who went to such lengths to get you out,"
"You're in this situation because of this woman!"
Jin Zhuoer stood up and approached step by step, a malicious sneer appearing on his face.
"You're going to protect this woman?"
"Knowing it's a pit of fire, why would you still jump in?"
"Little do you know that you're just being wishful thinking. Not only is he not appreciating it, but do you think he'll let you off easily just because you're coveting Jingmin's woman?"
Zhou Heng shielded Chu Wuyang behind him, remaining unmoved by Jin Zhuoer's sharp and sarcastic remarks.
He said expressionlessly,
You mustn't lay a hand on her.
Jin Zhuoer scoffed.
"You?"
He then waved his hand, summoning a group of bodyguards who surrounded the two of them.
A ruthless glint flashed in Zhou Heng's eyes, and a deep voice was forced out from his throat.
"Are you serious?"
Jin Zhuoer tilted his head slightly.
"We've worked together for years, when have you ever seen me make a joke like this?"
"Either get out of the way, or you die with this woman!"
Zhou Heng's gaze remained calm, his face expressionless, and his tone as relaxed as if he were chatting casually.
"Does that mean our cooperation has ended?"
His words were spoken slowly and deliberately, but every word carried an extremely cold threat.
Zhuo Er's expression suddenly changed.
A storm raged within me.
He understood the hidden meaning in Zhou Heng's words—he was not someone without trump cards.
