German hospitals
Inside the ward, Dr. Parker gently put down the examination form, walked to the bedside, and had a slight smile on his face.
After carefully measuring Jing Min's blood pressure, he said softly:
"Blood pressure is stable, and the situation is much better than expected."
"The bullet in the chest cavity has been successfully removed, and the surgery was a great success."
Parker glanced at Yan Zhou, Li Yan, and the others gathered around the hospital bed, his tone slightly comforting.
"However, although the surgery was successfully completed, Mr. Jing will need a long period of rest and recuperation,"
"The recovery period is extremely important."
He paused, then continued with his instructions.
"You must avoid anything that might cause Mr. Jing emotional distress, and keep him calm and quiet."
"In particular, any intense stimulation and fatigue should be avoided."
"This is a critical period, and we cannot let our guard down."
"You must take good care of them!"
Upon hearing this, Yan Zhou nodded slightly, appearing somewhat relieved.
"We will definitely pay attention."
Parker smiled slightly.
After Parker left, the atmosphere in the ward became silent and oppressive.
The only sound in the ward was the hum of the medical equipment, and the electrocardiogram lines were beating steadily.
Jing Min leaned against the hospital bed with his eyes slightly closed, his brows not furrowed at all.
His expression remained indifferent as usual.
Sitting still, he seemed enveloped in a layer of cold mist, his pale face resembling an abandoned snow sculpture.
It has lost all its vitality.
Even though Parker has already delivered good news,
Jingmin remained unmoved.
He seemed incredibly aloof, as if he had no interest in anything.
Just then, the door was hurriedly pushed open, and Mingxiu rushed in with a look of anxiety on her face.
Li Yan glanced at him, his brows furrowing slightly, his tone carrying a hint of displeasure.
Why are you here?
Mingxiu, however, seemed oblivious to the unusual atmosphere, and asked curiously, "..."
Why do you all look so gloomy?
"I just saw Parker with a big smile on his face; everything seemed to be going smoothly."
"What's wrong? Is it not going well?"
He turned to Jing Min, his tone somewhat urgent.
"Mr. Jing, is there anything else that's bothering you?"
"If you ask me, President Jing is still too kind,"
"That old bastard Jin Zhuoer should have been spared against his son for launching a sneak attack; he should have just killed him outright,"
"I can't believe that this bastard not only doesn't care but also has the nerve to send things over!"
Mingxiu spoke very quickly, finishing her sentence in one breath.
Li Yan, who was standing next to him, didn't even have time to cover his mouth.
Just then,
Jingmin slightly opened his eyes, his gaze sweeping directly at Mingxiu.
"Give it to me."
His voice was deep and hoarse, as if it had been uttered after a long silence.
Yan Zhou and Li Yan exchanged a glance.
My heart, which had just calmed down, jumped again.
Li Yan naturally reached out to stop Mingxiu, intending to brush it off.
"Haven't you finished your business yet? Go now!"
Mingxiu looked completely bewildered.
"I came to report back after I had finished the task!"
Li Yan reminded him with a look of disappointment and frustration.
"You forgot you have other things to do..."
"I said, give it to me!"
Jing Min's unyielding voice, tinged with a hint of coldness, rang out once more.
Li Yan lowered his head, not daring to say anything more.
Mingxiu seemed to only just realize what was happening; the recorder in her hand felt like a hot potato, and she didn't know whether she should hand it over or not.
Jing Min's cold gaze swept over them.
He had no choice but to obediently hand it over.
As the recording played,
The group looked worried and grim as they gazed at Jing Min, none daring to stop the recording.
Mingxiu cursed angrily,
"Pah! Those two adulterers have probably been secretly having an affair for a long time..."
Jing Min's breathing became rapid, and his face grew even paler.
As if uncertain, I listened to it again in a self-destructive way.
Then his eye twitched slightly, and a trace of color appeared on his lips.
Then, without warning, a stream of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth, staining the white sheets red.
"President Jing!"
Li Yan rushed to the bedside and reached out to support Jing Min's shoulder.
At this moment, the electrocardiogram emitted a rapid alarm.
All the machines started beating wildly, and the room was thrown into chaos.
"Quick! Doctor! Contact Parker immediately!"
Li Yan shouted anxiously, frantically pressing the emergency button.
Doctors and nurses rushed in and frantically began resuscitation efforts.
Jingmin's body heaved violently on the bed.
My breathing became more and more rapid, and my heartbeat became weaker and weaker.
——
A few days later,
That morning,
Chu Wuyang sat in the living room, her gaze fixed on the television screen. The news anchor's voice clearly reached her ears.
"Several senior Swiss officials have been dismissed for allegedly interfering with national air traffic control and other issues."
Representative Fung's face was prominently featured in the list.
Chu Wuyang was shocked.
I know that Jing Min must be behind this.
At this moment, Zhou Heng rushed in looking flustered and hurriedly instructed the servants to pack their luggage.
He tried to grab Chu Wuyang's wrist and said anxiously:
"Come with me."
Chu Wuyang shook off his hand and responded coldly:
"Let go, I won't go with you."
Zhou Heng frowned, glanced at the television news, and spoke urgently.
"You've seen it too, Jingmin's revenge has come. If you don't leave now, it'll be too late!"
Chu Wuyang took a deep breath.
"I won't go with you."
