Chapter 277 Urgent

The night was deep, and the gentle sound of the waves lapping against the island's shore filled the air.

Only a dim wall lamp was left on in the room, casting a warm glow.

Chu Wuyang leaned against the headboard, her fingers unconsciously swiping across her phone screen.

The sound of running water from the bathroom could be heard.

She was thinking about how Jingmin had been busy in the garden all day.

I reckon they're filling the bathtub with water right now, getting ready for a bath.

After a long day, a long soak is definitely more comfortable.

As a result, only a few minutes later,

The bathroom door was opened.

She looked up and...

Jingmin came out, drying his wet hair.

Wearing a bathrobe, the belt around her waist was tied loosely.

You can see a muscular upper body.

A well-defined waist and abdomen.

There wasn't a single piece of clothing inside!

Chu Wuyang subtly shifted her gaze.

The man had already walked slowly to the bedside.

His gaze remained fixed on her.

It carries a somewhat indescribable meaning.

Chu Wuyang said casually

"So fast?"

Jing Min casually hummed in response, tossing the towel in his hand onto the sofa.

As he sat down on the edge of the bed, his thin lips moved slightly, as if he wanted to say something.

But in the end, he restrained himself.

His gaze lingered, almost imperceptibly, on a small section of her bare leg.

His fingertips slid down her knee, gently stroking her calf.

The tone was casual.

"Your leg is all better..."

Chu Wuyang lowered her eyes and looked down.

There wasn't even a trace of scab left on my leg; my skin was so fair it looked like I had never been injured.

Jingmin has been taking meticulous care of her these past few days, even more so than she herself.

He definitely knows best whether it's good or bad.

Why bring it up specifically?

She looked up at him suspiciously.

His gaze was thoughtfully fixed on her legs.

The darkness between her brows mingled with her usual gentle and tender demeanor.

It made her heart skip a beat for no apparent reason.

Why aren't you wearing pajamas?

She asked casually, trying to steer the conversation and divert attention.

Jing Min paused, then blurted out:

"convenient."

"convenient?"

Chu Wuyang was stunned, frowned, and pressed for an answer.

"What's convenient about it?"

Jing Min didn't answer again, but just chuckled softly.

His fingers slowly climbed up her knees, applying slight pressure to force her body to shift inwards.

He stood up and deftly loosened the belt of his bathrobe.

She then burrowed into the blankets, where the warm air instantly enveloped her.

"W-What are you doing?"

Chu Wuyang was so startled that she shrank back, her voice becoming somewhat stammering.

His back was pressed tightly against the headboard, and his eyes were wide open.

"sleep."

Jingmin's words were concise and to the point.

He reached out and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling half of her body into his embrace.

It was so sudden.

Chu Wuyang reached out and braced herself against his shoulder, her voice tinged with panic.

"Wait, wait a minute,"

Jing Min lowered his eyes to look at her.

Her voice carried a hint of grievance.

"What? Your leg is all better now?"

"Can't I go to bed yet?"

Her reason for asking him to sleep on the sofa was that her leg wasn't fully healed and he might bump into her, which was inconvenient.

Chu Wuyang opened her mouth, wanting to refute,

But my leg is healed now…

She pursed her lips, about to struggle to find another suitable reason to push him away,

Jing Min leaned down, his nose gently brushing against her cheek, and whispered something.

"You're completely healed, and so am I,"

His voice was deep and gentle, as if possessing a captivating magic.

So... we can do it now.

He spoke as if it were perfectly natural, but his hand under the covers was already wandering restlessly along her waistline.

It carried a hint of probing and a touch of seduction.

Chu Wuyang's breath hitched, and her heartbeat went completely off track.

She turned her face away in a panic.

"Wait, wait a minute,"

"Are you... in a hurry?"

"Yes, it's urgent."

His bluntness made Chu Wuyang blush instantly.

Just as he was about to refuse,

Jing Min, however, had already grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to him.

He pulled her into his arms in a strong yet natural way.

Jingmin whispered in her ear,

His hot breath brushed against her sensitive earlobe, his voice low and husky, almost touching her skin as he spoke.

"It's really urgent!"

She trembled, her cheeks burned, her eyes widened, and she tried to push him away.

But he grabbed her wrist and pressed her hand against the pillow.

"Stop talking,"

He stared at her.

His dark eyes were so deep they seemed to want to devour her, and his thin lips slowly pressed down, gently nibbling at her lips.

A punishment tinged with lingering tenderness.

Chu Wuyang felt her heart pounding so hard it felt like it was going to burst out of her chest, her body enveloped in his intense heat.

All resistance was gradually swallowed up by this intense heat.

———

The afternoon sun lazily spilled into the island's gardens.

A gentle sea breeze blows, carrying the scent of grass and earth in the air.

Chu Wuyang leaned against the parasol, lazily hugging a cushion.

Sunglasses concealed the emotions in her eyes, revealing only her slightly pursed red lips.

It appeared exceptionally cold and desolate.

Her fingertips idly swiped across the phone screen.

Occasionally, I would glance up and see a figure squatting in the grass in the flowerbed not far away, busy with something.

Jingmin bent over, repeating the actions he had been taking to plant flowers these past few days.

Pruning, adding soil, watering—every step was done carefully and meticulously.
