After visiting Grandpa Chu at the hospital, Chu Wuyang looked up at the sky.
I dialed Ye Yuhe's number.
"Yangyang...you're back from your trip?"
The call connected, and Ye Yuhe's voice came through.
Less flamboyant and unrestrained than before, exuding a quiet weariness.
Chu Wuyang was taken aback.
It's been several months since I went to Switzerland, and it feels like everything has changed.
She replied casually.
Then he directly asked about the concerns.
"Ahe, how's Chuyao doing on your end?"
Ye Yuhe chuckled, a hint of self-deprecation in her voice.
What else can be done?
"The house was in complete chaos. My mom fainted several times from crying, and my dad was running all over town trying to pull strings."
"...I'm almost an expert at handling lawsuits now."
Chu Wuyang listened, her heart sinking slightly.
She knew that Ye Yuhe had always been spoiled and arrogant.
In the past, even if the sky were to fall, she could rely on the Ye family to support her, but now she's saying such things.

She paused, then tentatively asked,
"How could Chu Yao suddenly be caught up in a bribery scandal?"
"What else could it be?"
Ye Yuhe chuckled, lowering her voice.
"He did it for Zhou Heng."

Chu Wuyang sat in the car, her fingertips lightly tapping the car door.

Ye Yuhe chuckled softly on the other end of the phone, a sound tinged with mockery and self-deprecation.
"Hard to believe, isn't it?"

She paused, her tone growing even colder.
"After Ruan Xi cried and pleaded a few times, Chu Yao was able to disregard everything, even risk breaking the law, and stake the Chu family's century-old foundation."
"He actually extended his affection to Ruan Xi's ex-boyfriend, ha... Zhou Heng is Ruan Xi's ex-boyfriend, didn't you know that?"
Chu Wuyang unconsciously tightened her grip on her phone, and even her breathing became lighter.
I really don't know!
But then I suddenly remembered that when I was in Switzerland, I had inadvertently glanced at Zhou Heng's phone and seen Ruan Xi calling. I had thought it was just someone with the same name.
