Chapter 29 Testing

Jingmin liked it when she told him about everyday things, but then he heard her praising others so much...

He was still a little unhappy inside, but he didn't show it.

"Really? Male celebrity or female celebrity?"

A sly glint flashed in Chu Wuyang's eyes.

"It's a male celebrity, I heard he's a newly signed artist under Boyifang Media. Ahe and I both like him quite a bit. Could you help me get his autograph? As the boss, it should be easy for you, right?"

I'll use her temporarily; my best friend won't mind sharing the risks, especially since she's openly slandered me before.

They're old enemies; it wouldn't be unfair if they got involved.

Jing Min stopped what he was doing, his face a little cold, with a hint of anger.

"Ye Yuhe took you to see a male celebrity? You really liked him? Want his autograph?"

He lifted his eyelids and looked at her intently, asking three questions in a row, his brows furrowed with a dark expression. Just as Chu Wuyang was about to speak,

He looked down at the screen again, his voice low and soft, yet carrying a strong warning.

"What respectable male celebrity would skip acting and go golfing? He's probably just trying to hook up with rich women. I'll blacklist him tomorrow for corrupting social morals."

He added in a cold voice

"Miss Ye is something else. Instead of learning how to run her family's proper business, she spends her time chasing after celebrities. I'll remind Grandpa Ye about it tomorrow."

Chu Wuyang scoffed, her tone laced with sarcasm, "It's not just male celebrities, female celebrities are here too! None of them are very proper."

Jingmin wanted to end the topic quickly, so he blurted out,

"Equal banning, gender equality,"

Chu Wuyang felt a surge of schadenfreude, but put on an innocent expression.

"Isn't this a bit inappropriate? Zhou Chen just signed an artist; we should at least give him some face."

Jing Min looked up and gave her a strange look.

"No need, I'm in charge."

After saying that, he continued to focus on his paper.

Chu Wuyang's smile didn't reach her eyes; she thought to herself, "Let's see how you handle this."

She picked up her water glass, took a small sip, and her gaze fell on Jingmin's phone on his desk.

"Why don't you call Zhou Chen beforehand and tell him? Aren't you two best friends who share the same nose? Maybe after you make the call you'll realize that changing social norms isn't that important?"

She offered her kind advice, her tone gentle, her hand unconsciously reaching for her fully healed ankle, concealing the cold glint in her eyes.

Jing Min raised his handsome, long eyebrows slightly. After a moment's hesitation, he picked up the phone and dialed Zhou Chen's number.

After the call connected, Jing Min went straight to the point, stating that he wanted a ban. The person on the other end said something, and Jing Min's expression changed slightly, his brows furrowing.

Turning his head to look at Chu Wuyang,

She winked at him, her smile bright.

The sun was shining brightly, and her face was like a pure and radiant white rose.

Like a hidden arrow in a mesmerizing dream,

While you're engrossed in it, someone will subtly stab you like a hidden arrow...
