Chu Wuyang and Yang Jinchu exchanged a glance.
A hint of doubt appeared in his eyes.
If it was Mr. Jin's men who took Jingmin away,
That makes sense—but that's precisely why it seems so strange.

He could no longer maintain his composure and shouted at Chu Wuyang almost in a broken voice.

"Sister-in-law! I was wrong! Get this woman away from here!"
There was a hint of pleading in his voice.
I was terrified that I would be entangled with this "high-class lady" at any moment.
Chu Wuyang looked at Yang Jinchu with a questioning gaze, asking if it was believable.
Yang Jinchu leaned against the sofa, her eyes slightly narrowed, as if deep in thought.
Jin Bolin, however, had no time to pay attention to the interaction between the two; he desperately begged Chu Wuyang for mercy.
"Sister-in-law, I'm telling the truth!"
Seeing that she was still watching coldly,

Her tone betrayed suspicion—according to Mr. Jin's purpose
