Chapter 330 Don't Have Children

I don't know how much time passed, but the operating room lights were still on, and there was no movement.

The corridor door was pushed open with a bang. Zhou Chen subconsciously looked over, paused for a moment, and then breathed a sigh of relief.

The man standing at the door exuded an imposing aura; a well-tailored black trench coat accentuated his tall, slender figure, and his steps were sharp and decisive.

With a cold and stern expression, and a storm brewing in his eyes—that was Jing Min.

Zhou Chen quickly stepped forward, his tone light with relief at surviving the ordeal.

"Brother, you're finally here! Let me tell you something—"

He stopped abruptly halfway through his sentence.

Jingmin stopped in his tracks.

His gaze passed over Zhou Chen and fixed on the two figures sitting side by side at the entrance of the emergency room.

Yang Jinchu was gently patting Chu Wuyang's back, his expression tender. Chu Wuyang's face was pale, and her body leaned slightly forward.

It was as if he had just vomited and hadn't recovered yet.

"How come they're next to each other again?"

Zhou Chen muttered something to himself without realizing it.

A deep, cold voice suddenly rang in my ears.

"again?"

Zhou Chen was stunned for a moment, then immediately realized he had said the wrong thing. He slapped himself hard and forced a smile.

"I misspoke, a slip of the tongue!"

Jing Min ignored him and started to walk in that direction. Zhou Chen was so startled that he grabbed him.

"Don't be impulsive! Nothing has happened!"

Jing Min looked down at the hand that was clutching his sleeve, his voice chillingly cold.

"Let go"

Zhou Chen was helpless.

"Why are you being so fierce? You're just asking for trouble."

"Let me tell you, your wife is at her most vulnerable right now. Not only did she just suffer an ordeal, but she also feels guilty that Jin Xian got hurt because of her. If you get jealous and lose your sense of priorities right now, you'll really annoy her. If she starts to dislike you, don't blame me for not warning you!"

Jing Min narrowed his eyes and interrupted him impatiently in a cold voice.

"Have you said enough?"

Zhou Chen was genuinely afraid that he would go crazy again, regardless of the occasion, and his voice would change from its usual joking tone.

"I'm serious, I'm saving you."

Jingmin followed his gaze and looked over there.

Yang Jinchu was still there, one hand resting on Chu Wuyang's shoulder, gently stroking it, appearing as a patient protector.

They were completely unaware of the commotion on this side.

Jing Min's eyes were as cold as frozen lake water as he glanced at Zhou Chen, his tone indifferent.

"Thank you so much."

Zhou Chen tentatively let go of his hand.

Jing Min patted his sleeves in disgust, then slowly straightened the torn hem of his clothes.

Zhou Chen joked:

"So calm? Is your high-tech treatment really effective?"

After tidying up, Jingmin coldly tossed out a sentence.

"You can get out now."

"Tsk!"

Zhou Chen rolled his eyes.

"Really—"

Seeing Jing Min compose himself and walk steadily towards the end of the corridor,

Zhou Chen finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness he didn't go crazy..."

He glanced at his phone, muttering to himself; a barrage of media reports was giving him a headache, so he had to turn around and head towards the elevator.

"I'm the one who has to clean up this mess."

Jingmin stepped closer.

Tall and elegant, every step he took carried a cold and sharp aura.

In the quiet hospital corridor, it seemed as if the air itself had been frozen by him.

He looked at the two seated figures in front of him, his knuckles clenching slightly, but his face remained expressionless.

Yang Jin noticed this and looked up at him, his gaze gentle and open, neither flinching nor avoiding his gaze.

Chu Wuyang also noticed someone approaching, turned around and paused for a moment.

Jing Min stopped in front of them, his voice soft and deep.

"I'll take you to get checked out."

Chu Wuyang was clearly taken aback for a moment.

"No need, it's already been taken care of."

Yang Jinchu added softly,

"She had been holding it in, but her stomach was a little upset."

Jing Min frowned, his gaze fixed on Chu Wuyang's face, and after a careful examination,

A flicker of emotion welled up in his eyes, a mixture of restraint and suppression.

He glanced at Yang Jinchu, his voice turning cold.

"You can go now."

Yang Jinchu's expression remained unchanged. He raised his hand and pulled the coat on Chu Wuyang's shoulders tighter.

“Take good care of her,”

Jingmin's Adam's apple bobbed slightly, his eyes as cold as frost.

I said, you can leave.

For a moment, the air seemed to stand still.

Yang Jinchu stood up, without arguing, merely glanced at Jing Min, and turned to leave.

He walked away calmly, but his departing figure exuded a sense of coldness and loneliness.

Jing Min slowly sat down, looked at Chu Wuyang, and saw that she was silent with her head down, her face still pale. His voice softened a little.

"I'll take you to rest."

Chu Wuyang avoided his gaze.

"I'm not tired. Jin Xian hasn't come out yet. I don't want to leave."

Jing Min stared at her silently for a long time, his brows furrowed, but in the end he did not press her any further.

He leaned back in his chair, his voice low and hoarse.

"Isn't Yang Jinchu enough? Now you want to add Jin Xian as well?"

Chu Wuyang was stunned, then frowned.

"What nonsense are you talking about? You don't believe me? All that stuff online is just nonsense."

The more she spoke, the more agitated she became. Her face turned pale, her chest heaved violently, and she suddenly felt another wave of nausea.

Jing Min sighed, a hint of helplessness in his eyes, and reached out to pull her into his arms.

His hand gently stroked her back, his voice low and deep.

"It's not that I don't believe you... it's that I no longer dare to believe in myself."

Upon hearing this, Chu Wuyang's heart tightened. Sensing that something was wrong with him, she looked up and stared at him.

"Didn't the doctor say you were recovering well? What happened to you?"

Before she could finish speaking, another wave of nausea surged up, and her face grew even more pale.

Jingmin helped her sit down, got up and poured her a cup of hot water, then gently pulled her back into his arms.
