In the darkness, a magnificent and enormous cruise ship slowly sails across the calm Pacific Ocean.
As the city lights came on, the sounds of music and singing filled the air.
Chu Wuyang sat on the top deck, calmly gazing into the distance.
The dazzling lights of the 11-story cruise ship shone on the sea.
The sea of stars was dazzling and magnificent.
"Yangyang, why are you sitting here all alone? Aren't you cold?"
The wind was strong that night. Ye Yuhe, with her exquisite makeup, gorgeous dress, and a large shawl draped over her shoulders, walked over.
"It's too noisy with so many people. What about you? How did you manage to come out? There must be a performance in the open-air theater hall in the middle! Is it a concert?"
Chu Wuyang countered, saying that she had felt uncomfortable from the moment she boarded the ship.
Especially seeing crowds of all shapes and sizes gathered together, reveling fearlessly and without restraint,
A heavy gloom seemed to hang over my heart for no reason; I felt so suffocated and anxious that I couldn't breathe easily.
We finally found a quiet and well-ventilated place.
Ye Yuhe's face darkened instantly. She looked around; no one was there. She spoke in a resentful tone...
"Isn't it that Yun Yang again?"
Chu Wuyang raised an eyebrow at Chu Yuhe, somewhat surprised.
Chu Yuhe continued:
"Is that Yunyang, who played golf at the club last time? Yangyang, do you remember her?"
"Of course I remember," Chu Wuyang nodded.
"So she's the one inside?"
Chu Yuhe responded eagerly
"Exactly! I'm not the main character! Why didn't they ask me before inviting guests to the show? I'll definitely hold those planners accountable."
That's what they say, but it's likely that Ye Yuhe found it too troublesome and was too lazy to get involved, so she delegated everything to her assistant.
Chu Wuyang recalled that Yun Yang was also an invited guest at her own wedding, but at the time she was so resistant that she had no interest in such things.
Does Jingmin know? He probably does!
According to the staff at the time, he personally oversaw every step of the process, and even participated in the design of the venue setup.
Yun Yang's invitation was either tacitly approved by him, or he specifically requested it.
What is the purpose?
Was my wedding also part of their scheme?
Chu Wuyang felt a surge of disgust.
"Wasn't Yun Yang banned?"
She frowned and mentioned,
Ye Yuhe reacted with a start upon hearing this.
"Yeah, I heard she offended some big shot and got blacklisted. Yun Yang framed someone so falsely last time, she must have done this kind of thing a lot to get herself targeted."
"Fine, considering that some big shot avenged me, let's just let this matter rest. I'm being merciful, so I'll let her earn a few coins, just in case she can't survive."
After Ye Yuhe finished speaking eloquently, she suddenly asked a question:
"But Yangyang, you're usually so oblivious to what's going on around you, so out of touch with the world! How do you know about this kind of gossip?"
Chu Wuyang chuckled twice.
"It's because Yun Yang went too far last time, so I kept a closer eye on her."
The rooftop deck is practically a garden, with a lush lawn and a charming fountain in the center.
As gentle, melodious music played and water sprayed rhythmically, various precious flowers vied for attention.
Not far from the sofa and lounge chairs where they were, there were rows of tall palm trees.
Like loyal guardians protecting this peaceful little world,
Chu Yuhe closed her eyes and lay half-reclined, enjoying the quiet moment, and couldn't help but sigh.
"Cruise travel is so comfortable; even all the beautiful and romantic love scenes in movies take place on cruise ships,"
Chu Wuyang, standing to the side, crossed her arms, her lips parted slightly, and a soft voice drifted out:
"But most of those movies have tragic endings!"
Chu Yuhe opened her eyes, pouted, and her eyes revealed a hint of dissatisfaction.
I turned my head away and stopped looking at her.
Upon seeing this, Chu Wuyang shook her head and chuckled.
A sea breeze blew in, bringing a fresh fragrance mixed with a salty and astringent taste.
In an instant, several figures appeared at the base of the palm tree.
That's right at the entrance, it's very noisy.
Ye Yuhe straightened her upper body, craned her neck to look, but couldn't see anything clearly. She prepared to get up.
Chu Wuyang spoke slowly:
"Don't worry about them, they'll leave in a bit."
Ye Yuhe turned to look at her and asked in confusion:
"Why? Weren't they supposed to come up to the garden?"
Chu Wuyang glanced at that spot and pointed to a tall man with a buzz cut in the crowd.
"There are people guarding it! Otherwise, why would this place always be deserted?" The tone was slightly sarcastic.
From the moment she boarded the ship, whenever she wasn't in her room, Li Yan was basically following her in the shadows, maintaining a distance that was neither too close nor too far.
After all, they'd had a two-year-long tacit understanding of hiding from each other; she came here for peace and quiet.
As a qualified and excellent bodyguard assistant, he should have this much insight.
Chu Yuhe was able to get in here smoothly because she knew about their relationship.
Ye Yuhe asked uncertainly
"The grumpy guy?"
Chu Wuyang nodded.
"Is it to supervise your homework? To have someone keep an eye on you?" she asked, her tone innocent yet indignant.
"It counts,"
She chuckled softly. Indeed, hadn't he explicitly told her not to go wild?
"Is he a psychopath?"
Ye Yuhe said in an exaggerated and impetuous tone,
"So I've decided to take your advice and divorce her,"
Chu Wuyang squinted slightly and said in a soft voice,
Ye Yuhe stood up in surprise, her eyes wide as saucers.
She even glanced sideways at Li Yan not far away, knowing full well that he couldn't hear anything at that distance, but she still felt inexplicably guilty.
