Chapter 409 Whatever You Want

In the midst of the lively atmosphere at the cocktail party, someone jokingly suggested,

"Since we've all gathered here, why don't we continue somewhere else?"

Everyone echoed this sentiment.

The excuse was that there was still plenty of time, but the unspoken understanding was that the business negotiations weren't over yet, and some things couldn't be said openly.

Chu Wuyang smiled and nodded slightly to the club manager, who immediately understood and made the arrangements.

In fact, all of this was already part of her plan. The venue was currently being cleared out, so changing locations was simply a convenient step.

Some people come for a quiet place to discuss business, while others are there purely for the project – after all, Chu's club is the largest and most luxurious in Haicheng, offering immersive, competitive, and private experiences, and you can't get a spot without making a reservation in advance.

Taking advantage of this rare opportunity, some people are already eager to get started.

"I heard that there are some new attractions in your experience area?"

Someone asked with a smile.

Chu Wuyang smiled faintly.

"If you don't mind, the entire venue is open tonight."

The young, powerful figures seemed to have long been accustomed to the extravagance and debauchery of such occasions, showing little interest in the activities arranged by the club.

Instead, they are more interested in higher-level, more "interactive" challenges.

They strolled towards Chu Wuyang, their tone half-serious and half-joking.

"Miss Chu, are you alone today? I'm also without company, why don't we go together?"

Under the lamplight, a slender finger slowly traces the rim of a wine glass, producing a soft, grating sound.

Meanwhile, Jing Min and Mo Sangyu did not leave with the others. Instead, they remained seated, suddenly raising their eyes and glancing casually into the distance.

Chu Wuyang still held a wine glass in her hand, while the young nobleman beside her waited expectantly for her response with a smile.

She neither dodged, nor flinched, nor moved away, but simply let the gaze from afar fall upon her.

Her lips had already curved into a smile of refusal, but her gaze pierced through the crowd in the next second.

They bumped right into Jing Min in the distance.

The man traced the rim of the glass with his fingertips, his gaze calm and collected.

She chuckled softly, looked away, and downed the wine in her glass in one gulp.

Then he nodded slightly to the powerful young man.

“Great! Since Mr. Li has invited me, let’s go together.”

In the distance, Jing Min withdrew his gaze.

He lightly tapped the rim of the glass with his fingertip, causing the reflection of the wine in the glass to sway slightly, but he remained silent.

Mo Sangyu noticed his lack of interest and said softly,

"There will be a song and dance performance later, do you want to go check it out?"

Jing Min's expression remained unchanged; he simply gave a faint "hmm," neither agreeing nor refusing.

Mo Sangyu offered several more suggestions, but he remained uninterested.

She was getting a little anxious. She was afraid that Jingmin would find it boring and leave after they finally had this opportunity to spend time together, leaving them separated by a study door, cold and lonely.

Her gaze shifted, landing on the group of people surrounding Chu Wuyang not far away, her eyes flashing.

He suggested with a smile,

"How about we go see what interesting programs Miss Chu has? She knows this place best."

Jing Min seemed to finally react, raising an eyelid and glancing in that direction, his tone lazy and ambiguous.

"Yeah?"

Mo Sangyu's smile was starting to falter.

But seeing that he finally reacted, she smiled and took his arm.

"Hmm, I heard they have a really comprehensive range of sports here, especially shooting, which is quite famous. Apparently, they use fully immersive simulation equipment imported from abroad, with live ammunition and dynamic targets—it's both exciting and precise..."

She guessed that Jing Min was usually aloof and indifferent, and that only slightly competitive activities like shooting could arouse his interest.

As expected, Jing Min paused slightly, as if his interest had finally been ignited.

"What's wrong?" Mo Sangyu asked tentatively.

Jing Min said calmly,

"Shooting alone is too boring."

Mo Sangyu's heart tightened.

Having finally found a project that interested him, she naturally didn't want to let him leave easily, but she also knew that if she accompanied him, her limited skills would only disappoint him.

She followed his gaze and saw that Chu Wuyang's side was bustling with activity, with a group of people gathered there.

She tentatively suggested,

"How about... Miss Chu and her friends come along? She knows the area well, and it'll be more lively with more people."

Jing Min gazed at the bustling, almost blindingly bright area from afar, his eyes deep and thoughtful, and uttered two words.

"what ever."
