"dislike"
A very frank tone.
Mo Sangyu's drooping fingers unconsciously loosened, a slight pain spreading through her.
She then realized that her palm had been dug into by fingernails, leaving four crescent-shaped bloody marks.
She knew Jingmin couldn't possibly still have feelings for his ex-wife.
Although she didn't know the specifics of what they had gone through.
However, details can be pieced together from the rumors circulating among his assistants and the Jin family.
He was already being incredibly merciful by not dismembering the woman who had wronged him.
Mo Sangyu knew that he had never been the type to show mercy to women.
She hesitated, her voice hoarse.
"Then you'll go find her...?"
"sleep."
Jing Min made no attempt to hide anything, nor did he show the slightest shame; he was so straightforward that he didn't even bother with the most basic pretense.
Mo Sangyu was stunned, her ears instantly burning, and her face flushed.
They've been together for so long
She had never seen him have any need for that.
He always maintained that aloof and detached demeanor, restrained and calm, as if he didn't care about such things at all.
Chu Wuyang is indeed exceptionally good-looking.
In the emirate,
There are countless noble ladies who possess both beauty and family background, but she has never seen Jingmin truly fall in love with anyone.
Even Jin Bolin's fiancée, who reportedly took the initiative to climb into his bed, was said to have been unable to sway him in the slightest.
Mo Sangyu couldn't be sure whether the young lady had succeeded.
Rumors circulated that the two were disheveled and covered in kiss marks at the time.
Until now,
Her girlfriends in the circle even teased her about it, jokingly asking if Mrs. Jing's "nightlife" was just as exciting.
Some people even gossiped and asked her to confirm whether Jing Min's reputation was truly well-deserved.
She could only blush and give a vague answer.
Little did she know,
When he shared a room with her, he always kept his distance.
How could a man who is supposed to be detached from worldly desires actually take the initiative to contact his ex-wife?
But he just admitted that he "doesn't like it."
Is that just a simple physical need?
If all else fails, as the psychologist said, a mental illness requires a mental cure.
If that's the case, she's willing to wait and even cooperate.
Because she also wanted Jingmin to completely heal his psychological trauma and overcome his nightmares.
That way, she can have a healthy and clean husband again.
"So, you need Miss Chu's body?"
Jing Min's eyes were deep and his gaze was intense.
That's not wrong, he really needs it.
"Um"
Mo Sangyu nodded, relieved that it was only for medical treatment.
This was the aloof, abstinent, and noble man she knew—not someone who indulged in base desires and was not picky about food.
She silently told herself.
Don't worry about it—it's just a treatment method, not something to be tempted by.
The man seemed to be in a hurry and didn't seem to want to talk much; he walked away gracefully.
Mo Sangyu stared blankly at the man's retreating figure.
Even though I've convinced myself that I shouldn't care too much and that there's absolutely no chance of them getting back together.
But as they say, "familiarity breeds fondness."
Will love really not grow over time?
If it's just a physical need, she can do that too.
Why did it have to be for treating an illness?
——
Chu Wuyang had just stepped into the hospital with the soup she had packed from the restaurant when her phone rang urgently.
She took a deep breath.
Trying to ignore it.
But the ringtone seemed to have eyes on her body.
It started ringing again as soon as it stopped.
She frowned, knowing she couldn't get through to Jing Minru on the phone.
The next step will definitely not be a gentle one.
She gritted her teeth and answered the call.
"Spit it out."
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.
His cold, low voice finally came through, like a chill seeping from deep within his throat.
"Chu Wuyang, just because I allow you to go see that gigolo doesn't mean you can pay him to come home with soup."
Chu Wuyang glanced down at the insulated food container in her hand, then looked around. Everything in the hospital seemed normal.
But the familiar tone of voice gave her a sudden feeling of being spied on.
Where did you install those mobile surveillance cameras?
"Don't worry about that."
Jing Min answered casually.
Chu Wuyang sneered.
What do you mean, "leave it alone"?
"You have people monitoring me, and I can't even ask questions?"
“Tracking, monitoring, threatening, Jing Min, apart from getting a bit older, your methods haven’t improved at all over the years.”
The man on the other end of the phone chuckled softly and replied without any shame.
"It doesn't matter if your methods have improved; a good method is one that can make you obey."
Chu Wuyang was so angry she laughed.
"I've already agreed to your request, don't you even have the most basic personal freedom?"
"Does President Jing lack any confidence as a man, afraid I'll run away?"
She didn't even need to think about it to know that his phone call was because of his possessiveness.
Jingmin said slowly,
"Your attempt to provoke me won't work on me."
"Giving a restless woman like you, who loves to attract attention, freedom is like planting a green field on my head, isn't it?"
Chu Wuyang nearly choked to death by his confidently nonsensical argument.
She put the insulated food container on the chair.
"Even if I were to grow a grassland, I wouldn't want a single blade of grass like you!"
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone, as if someone was holding back.
He spoke indifferently a few seconds later.
"Unfortunately, with this weed here, no one else can take root in this land."
Chu Wuyang sneered.
"How dare you think the whole world revolves around you?"
Jing Min's tone was unhurried, yet carried a familiar sense of pressure.
