Chapter 45 is irrelevant.

When Chu Wuyang came out, Jing Min was on the balcony making a phone call. They weren't very close, so she couldn't hear what he was saying.

But the man's brows furrowed deeper and deeper.

Chu Wuyang wasn't interested. She went straight to the dressing room to change, then came to the bedside to dry her hair. Glancing at the new phone on the bedside table, she let out a cold snort.

A moment later, the doorbell rang.

Chu Wuyang put down the hairdryer and glanced at the balcony. The man seemed oblivious.

She got up to open the door, and before she could even open it a crack, a clumsy pink figure squeezed in.

"Yangyang, you're finally awake!"

Ye Yuhe, panting, said that Chu Wuyang's phone broke yesterday, so she couldn't contact her.

She knocked on the door early in the morning, but Jingmin answered instead. She thought she had the wrong house.

The person then pulled a long face, their expression full of impatience at being disturbed.

He uttered a few curt words, "Still sleeping," and then slammed the door shut.

She was so angry that she gestured outside the door for a long time but didn't have the courage to knock again.

Because she's genuinely afraid of Jingmin.

Chu Wuyang gently helped her catch her breath.

"What happened? Do we need to run away?"

After saying that, she handed Ye Yuhe a glass of water, which Ye Yuhe drank in one gulp before opening her big eyes and looking around.

Chu Wuyang, out of curiosity, followed her gaze and looked around, but found nothing unusual!

"What's wrong?"

The curtains on the balcony were drawn, completely obscuring the figures of anyone on the balcony.

Surprisingly, I couldn't hear Jingmin talking on the phone either.

Ye Yuhe looked around but didn't see a third person, so she automatically assumed that Jing Min wasn't there.

She spoke confidently and boldly.

"There were naked corpses of a man and a woman on the deck this morning. I don't recognize the woman, but the man is that fat foreign man who tried to harass you at the casino entrance!"

Chu Wuyang was somewhat surprised; someone had died, but he didn't dwell on the reasons.

Ye Yuhe hesitated before continuing to speak.

"Last night I overheard Chu Yao on the phone saying that Jing Min brought a lot of people onto the ship last night, and they looked like they were going to kill someone."

After saying that, he shrank back slightly, then slowly stated his reasons.

"What a coincidence! That fat man tried to take advantage of you. Besides you, the only other people present were Yang Jinchu and your tail."

Chu Wuyang interrupted her, "People have names, Li Yan."

Ye Yuhe nodded.

"Oh, Li Yan, there's no reason for Yang Jinchu to tell Jing Min these things. It must have been Li Yan who told Jing Min, and then he led his men onto the ship and killed him."

After saying that, he made a throat-slitting gesture.

He was still sighing.

"Men's possessiveness is terrifying!"

Chu Wuyang became somewhat wary after hearing this.

Ah He probably doesn't know what happened at the bar last night.

However, as the owner of the cruise ship, Chu Yao would definitely have been informed if someone boarded the ship and made such a big fuss.

Adding to this morning's murder, they should now know the whole story. No wonder Ah-He is so suspicious.

Jing Min briefly described the outcome of what happened last night.

But based on her understanding of him, things definitely wouldn't end well.

My heart skipped a beat. Oh no, it really must have been Jingmin who did it.

Just said a man and a woman,

The woman is probably that provocative young woman from the bar.

If the woman instigated the provocation that nearly resulted in her being humiliated, Jingmin's revenge would be somewhat understandable.

However, it is also impossible to directly take someone's life.

But the man, in the end, didn't he do nothing?

She couldn't believe Jing Min could be so violent and so carelessly disregard life.

She stood up abruptly, eager to confirm immediately.

It's unclear whether they're confirming the identities of the two people, or whether they're related to Jing Min.

She was actually a little afraid to ask Jing Min directly, afraid that he was not as she knew him as she thought.

He pulled Ye Yuhe and walked outside.

"Take me to see it,"

The two had just opened the door when they saw Li Yan, who had raised his hand to ring the doorbell but stopped.

Chu Wuyang's expression wasn't good, and guessing that he must have come to see Jing Min, she opened the door wide to let him in.

"Jingmin is inside."

Li Yan nodded.

Ye Yuhe, standing to the side, gaped in astonishment. What? That living devil was here? She had just been cricketing at him right in front of him!

He grabbed Chu Wuyang, wanting to leave quickly.

But just before leaving, Chu Wuyang seemed to remember something and called Li Yan back.

"Li Yan, did you truthfully report what happened at the casino entrance yesterday?"

Li Yan glanced at Ye Yuhe, who was still in shock, with a complicated expression, and did not give a direct answer.

"You knew all along?"

Chu Wuyang nodded somewhat disappointedly and turned to leave.

"Madam, Mr. Jing doesn't know about that obese man, nor does he know the specifics of what happened at the bar."

Li Yan immediately stopped Chu Wuyang and offered a disguised explanation.

When Chu Wuyang asked him earlier, he knew that it must have been Miss Ye who had told him about the murder.

He was there to report on the specific situation.

The disappointment in Chu Wuyang's eyes was so glaring that he suddenly realized the true meaning behind Chu Wuyang's question.

She had initially suspected that the man and woman had gotten into this situation because of President Jing.

It's like snow in June! He felt sorry for President Jing;

As you can see, he didn't utter a single word about what happened at the casino entrance.

There's no CCTV footage from the bar either; they're still looking for the missing woman from that group.

However, it has now been confirmed that it is her.

When Chu Wuyang heard Li Yan say this...

He turned around abruptly.

Even she herself didn't realize that a hint of unexpected joy was reflected in her pupils, the radiance of which seemed like a ray of light piercing through the gloom.
