The sound of camera shutters and the blinding flashes drew closer.
Chu Wuyang was forced to take two steps back.
My forehead was slightly bulging, which was already making me irritable, and now this crazy person has come along, making it even more annoying.
She raised her hand to grab the camera.
Chu Han moved even faster than her, dodging to the side, a manic light flashing in his eyes, his smile twisted and sinister.
"What, feeling guilty? Trying to destroy the evidence?"
He raised his voice as if grasping at a straw.
"Chu Wuyang, you're dead this time!"
"Is it because you talked nonsense in front of Yuhe that she distanced herself from me?"
"I knew it! It's you, you shameless woman who doesn't discriminate between meat and vegetables, stirring up trouble!"
He stepped forward, his breath ragged.
"Maybe... it's because you were dumped by your ex-husband and are unhappy that you're jealous of us."
"Who knows, a woman like you who accepts everyone might also have feelings for me..."
Chu Han sized her up with malicious intent, gritting his teeth.
"I'm sending the video evidence to Yuhe today, so she can see for herself what your 'good sister' really looks like!"
Chu Wuyang stared quietly at the man in front of her, her expression completely calm.
She hadn't seen Chu Han for a long time.
Ever since she caught him cheating on Ah He a few years ago, she had heard on and off about their constant bickering and unrest over the next two or three years.
She advised Ahe to just cut it off completely, but Ahe just sneered and said she knew what she was doing.
She's got a brain ready for love, but she can't swallow the anger of being deceived and manipulated. She's determined to keep Chu Han hanging on, making him restless.
Chu Wuyang didn't know the specifics of their grudges, but from Ahe's tone, he could tell it was definitely not a minor squabble.
Unexpectedly, another two years have passed.
She knew that Ahe had a new boyfriend and they were getting along very well, while Chu Han was left hanging, and for some reason, they just couldn't break up.
She remembered the first time she met Chu Han a few years ago. He at least looked like a normal person. He wasn't handsome, but he had a refined demeanor and proper manners.
The man before her was a far cry from the man she remembered. He was thin and disheveled, his eyes were clouded, and his mental state was clearly off.
She hadn't asked about his specific family background, but from the bits and pieces of information Ah He had given her, he seemed to come from a fairly large family abroad.
But how could someone like that have gotten themselves into this state?
What puzzled her even more was that
Why is he trying to frame her now?
"I don't know what nonsense you're spouting. Get out of here right now!"
Chu Han seemed to have struck a nerve, laughing wildly as he stepped forward, his words dripping with malicious sarcasm.
"You won't admit it, huh? It's fine if you don't admit it."
He raised the camera in his hand, his eyes filled with malice.
"I have photographic evidence,"
"Later, we can let everyone in your company see how their CEO trades resources by sleeping with men,"
Chu Wuyang's face darkened inch by inch, and his words became increasingly harsh.
Just as it was about to erupt,
A screeching sound of brakes rang out.
"Yangyang?"
The sun turns its head as the first dance begins.
Yang Jinchu pushed open the car door and strode hurriedly towards them. He was wearing a khaki trench coat, his posture was upright and elegant, but his gentle and handsome face held an undisguised fierceness.
He walked up to Chu Wuyang, his protective instincts undisguised, and reached out to shield her behind him.
"Who are you? Get out of here!"
Chu Han moved his gaze from Chu Wuyang's face to the person opposite him, scrutinizing them from head to toe, a mocking smile playing on his lips.
"Oh, yet another chivalrous protector?"
Yang Jin looked at him with obvious impatience, as if he were a lunatic.
"Shut up, if you keep arguing with me, I'll call the police."
Chu Han was not intimidated in the slightest; instead, he mocked her without restraint.
"I know you, you're Chu Wuyang's backup plan, and also her ex-fiancé. You were dumped once, twice, yet you still stubbornly pursued her. You're incredibly blind."
"Do you know what a slut the woman you're obsessed with is like in private?!"
His voice suddenly lowered, dragging out the last syllable as if deliberately trying to disgust people.
"She's the kind of person who'd sell anything for money or resources."
The chill in Yang Jinchu's eyes had solidified into a tangible form.
Seeing his face darken, Hai, finding it not exciting enough, pointed again to the hotel building behind him.
You don't know yet, do you?
He waved the camera in his hand again.
"This woman seduced a married man yesterday and stayed overnight in this hotel. You, Yang Jinchu, are truly pathetic. She's already used up her time, and you still want to stand up for her?"
Yang Jinchu couldn't listen any longer. He didn't want to resort to violence, but having reached his limit, he no longer had to endure it.
"Bang!"
A dull thud.
Without hesitation, he delivered a powerful punch, knocking Chu Han to the ground in the fountain behind him.
Water splashed everywhere, wetting half the ground.
This is the hotel lobby, and the conflict quickly attracted the attention of those around.
A crowd began to gather and watch, whispering among themselves.
Chu Wuyang tugged at Yang Jinchu's arm and urged him softly.
"Come on, Ah Jin, let's go."
In the fountain pool, Chu Han struggled to get up, his wet hair plastered to his face, a smile playing on his lips.
It's as if they think things haven't gotten big enough.
He shouted a desperate provocation at their retreating figures.
"Leaving so soon?"
"Yang Jinchu, you're really useless. The woman you like has already been slept with by other men, and you're still pretending to be a gentleman?"
"You coward, you deserve it..."
Before she could finish speaking, Yang Jinchu abruptly shook off Chu Wuyang's hand, her eyes bloodshot, and walked straight toward Chu Han.
"Bang!"
Another muffled thud, and he met the attack head-on without hesitation.
This time, Chu Han was on guard and launched a chaotic counterattack, but his foul language never stopped.
The surrounding area was in complete chaos.
Some people took photos, some called the police, and some seemed to recognize Chu Wuyang and Yang Jinchu.
The man by the fountain, his face covered in water from being punched, though his features are blurred, is still "gloriously" captured in the photo.
The situation got out of control for a moment, but no one dared to step forward to stop it.
"Ah Jin!"
Chu Wuyang couldn't help but exclaim, she had never seen this side of him before.
She wouldn't be surprised if Jing Min went crazy.
But Yang Jinchu… he had always been gentle and refined, and this reckless madness almost terrified her.
Until she caught a glimpse of a startling red tinge in the fountain pool out of the corner of her eye,
My heart tightened suddenly, and I rushed forward to try and grab him.
Yang Jinchu seemed to be completely provoked, his eyes surging with murderous intent, completely unaware of who the newcomer was.
Driven by inertia, he flung his hand away.
Chu Wuyang was thrown out, her body slamming uncontrollably into the stone railing.
The cold, sharp edges approached.
She instinctively closed her eyes tightly, almost bracing herself for the excruciating pain.
The anticipated impact did not materialize.
A steady and powerful force caught her firmly at the last moment.
