After dressing neatly, Chu Wuyang resolutely walked towards the villa gate, her steps heavy yet firm.
I had only one thought in my mind: to get out of this nightmarish place as soon as possible.
However, when they reached the gate, they were stopped by the security guard.
She glanced around the garden and was surprised to find that there were now tall bodyguards patrolling the area.
The security guard, with a stern expression, stretched out a hand to stop him.
He spoke in a mechanical tone:
"I'm sorry, madam, you cannot leave."
Behind the security guard stood a tall iron gate, its cold iron bars gleaming in the sunlight, like an insurmountable cage.
Chu Wuyang's tone was cold, yet subtly angry, and her voice rose slightly.
"Get out of the way!"
The security guard remained unmoved and repeated his words.
"I'm sorry, you can't leave."
Seeing that the person in front of her was stubborn and that they were surrounded by bodyguards, Chu Wuyang knew that forcing her way out was completely futile.
With the stalemate proving fruitless, she angrily returned to the house.
Yang Jinchu is still in the hospital. Although she learned from Jing Min's phone call and text message last night that he was safe and sound, she still felt an undeniable responsibility for all of this that had been suffered because of her.
She wanted to go see him, but she couldn't go out now. She took out her phone and dialed, but all she heard was static. She was puzzled; she tried different numbers, and the result was the same.
My heart sank to the bottom. Although I had guessed the possibility, I still politely called out to the passing maid out of desperation.
"Could I borrow your phone for a moment, please?"
The maid's apologetic tone confirmed her suspicions.
"I'm sorry, Madam, the butler informed us this morning that the cell phone signal in this villa area is blocked, so we can't use our phones."
Chu Wuyang's face instantly turned frosty, and his slightly narrowed eyes flashed with anger.
Her lips were pressed tightly together, her beautifully shaped chin was slightly tilted back, and her tightly clenched hands revealed her inner turmoil.
The maid sensed something was amiss and quickly left.
Chu Wuyang rushed into the master bedroom with a chilling aura.
Each step felt like walking on ice, producing a crisp, cold sound.
Although his intentions were already quite clear
But on what grounds? Treating her like a prisoner? What right does he have?
Pushing open the master bedroom door, the smell of disinfectant still lingered, but the room was empty.
Hearing the commotion, the butler rushed over in a panic, saying in a tense tone...
"Is there anything I can help you with? Mr. Jing isn't here."
Chu Wuyang was panting and unable to calm her emotions.
Good thing, I knew she would look for him. I wonder where she's hiding?
Unvented emotions, like a volcano about to erupt...
Her gaze swept over the room full of people who had gathered there without her noticing.
Some of the young maids peeked out of curiosity, then quickly looked away, avoiding eye contact.
She grabbed a vase and smashed it against the ground, shattering it into pieces.
not enough,
He then picked up an ornament from the table and smashed it against the wall with a loud bang; every movement was imbued with resolute arrogance.
The master bedroom door was wide open, and the commotion was so loud that a crowd had gathered outside to watch, but no one dared to step forward to stop them.
The housekeeper, sweating profusely, dialed a phone amidst the crowd, his face filled with anxiety as he frequently glanced at the situation inside the house.
At the same time, he waved to disperse the crowd of servants and maintain order.
Chu Wuyang destroyed everything in the room that he could smash or throw—books, ornaments, furniture… the room was a complete mess.
After a long while, having smashed everything, she stood amidst the chaos, her eyes vacant, tears welling up but stubbornly refusing to fall.
A moment later, she turned and walked towards the door. The servants, as if propelled by an invisible force, automatically parted to both sides.
Chu Wuyang walked past expressionlessly, and immediately people went in to clean up, busily restoring the mess.
Hearing the commotion behind him, Chu Wuyang felt a surge of complex emotions.
He resented his own powerlessness; his earlier farce seemed pale and more like a comical performance.
Back in my bedroom, I was still deeply troubled, looking at the luxurious furnishings of the room.
As if all of this was mocking her powerlessness, she, unable to contain her anger, smashed it to pieces in return.
Therefore, this bedroom was not spared either.
Similarly, someone came in to clean immediately, but this time someone took her to another building with a more luxurious bedroom.
She sat on the bed, her face pale.
Like a bird trapped in a cage, all its struggles are in vain.
Struggling in a broken cage won't help you escape; you'll only be replaced by a sturdier and larger one.

Private hospitals
Jing Min was shirtless, with a gruesome wound on his back.
Parker, wearing a mask, focused intently as his needle and thread moved skillfully along the wound.
The tone carried a hint of reproach
"I told you to be careful and not to do anything rash. The stitches that were done yesterday have torn again. Young people are always so impulsive."
Jing Min remained silent, turning to glance at him quietly.
Parker ignored the glances directed his way, pursed his lips, put down the needle in his hand, turned his back, and fearlessly gave his instructions.
"Pay special attention: Sexual intercourse is prohibited!"
Yan Zhou pushed open the door with a grim expression and hesitantly recounted what had happened at home.
Jing Min listened calmly and then gave the instructions in a low voice.
"Take her to the building behind the garden."
Yan Zhou changed his usual compliant attitude.
"Isn't this going too far? Madam didn't really..."
Jingmin interrupted with a look of annoyance.
Are you teaching me how to do things?
Yan Zhou lowered his head, "I dare not."
"Find a therapist."
Yan Zhou's heart skipped a beat, his body involuntarily tensed, and his eyes were filled with worry.
