Chapter 73 Provocative Action

"Long time no see, Miss Chu!"

Chu Wuyang smiled.

"Why aren't you calling me Mrs. Jing anymore?" It was clearly a sarcastic remark, but surprisingly, Yun Yang actually addressed her politely.

Yan Zhou, who had caught up to see Yun Yang off, noticed from afar that the atmosphere between the two was unusual.

He hurriedly stepped forward, but before he could utter a word to smooth things over, Chu Wuyang refuted him.

Although she wasn't looking at him, she precisely noticed his movements and, just as he was about to speak, cut him off.

She crossed her arms over her chest, tilted her head back slightly, and spoke with a hint of sarcasm.

"Do you really enjoy being a lowly mistress?" Her words were sharp, like a sword striking straight to the heart.

Yun Yang is an excellent actress; she can portray arrogance and exude a noble air.

"You're talking nonsense. What mistress? I have no improper relationship with Mr. Jing. He just asked me for help, nothing more."

His words, which completely distanced him from his previous intimate terms and arrogance towards his ex-girlfriend, were utterly devoid of any trace of their past.

"Oh, I overestimated you. You're not even worthy of being called a mistress?"

Chu Wuyang's words were sharp and cutting, like a meticulously crafted blade aimed directly at one's heart.

"What are you so arrogant about? You're just a canary kept in a cage,"
