Chapter 75 Where is her?

Jing Min silently carried the person back to the room and placed them on the bed. His eyes held a complex expression, and he couldn't hide his dissatisfaction.

He straightened up, his gaze falling on Chu Wuyang's injury. He frowned slightly, his eyes showing a hint of reproach.

"Couldn't you be a little more careful?" The voice was cold and deep.

Chu Wuyang raised her eyes and said stubbornly.

"You should tell Miss Yun."

Jing Min crouched down, his gaze level with Chu Wuyang's. Being so close, his sharp eyes clearly reflected Chu Wuyang's evasive gaze.

He stared at her silently for a while, his gaze seemingly able to see through everything. Chu Wuyang felt uncomfortable under his gaze and quickly turned her head away.

Jing Min withdrew his gaze and moved it down to her legs. He began to hold her calves, carefully examining them.

The movements were stiff, yet there was a subtle, almost imperceptible gentleness.

When he touched her knee, Chu Wuyang gasped and instinctively flinched.

Jing Min glanced at her, opened his mouth slightly, hesitated, and then sighed softly.

I bent down and gently rolled up her trouser leg. Sure enough, her knee was red and swollen, with blood seeping out.

"They started doing it exactly two days ago?"

The tone was undisguisedly reproachful, and Chu Wuyang was about to retort, but the large hand on her leg held her firmly, preventing her from moving.

Her expressionless face concealed her inner guilt after framing someone, but her words were firm and forceful.

"Isn't it all because of you? Your people hurt me and you're blaming me?"

The voice was soft, but the tone was full of complaint.

Jing Min paused for two seconds, not denying her grammatical error as he usually did, and saying nothing of her "his person."

He said with a half-smile

"Why did you provoke them?" After saying that, he left the room and asked the servant to bring him a first-aid kit.

"So what if I can't stand her? And you, now you're so openly keeping a mistress at home? Who knows what people are laughing at me behind my back? I'm just venting my anger, so what?"

A series of sentences, accompanied by a wronged expression, were delivered without pause, vividly portraying the image of a spoiled young lady throwing a tantrum out of jealousy.

It's all technique, devoid of emotion.

She tried to make her unwarranted harassment seem more reasonable; he was smart enough to notice her unusual behavior.

Jingmin knelt down in front of her, cradling her injured area and silently wiping the wound.

Upon hearing this, Jingmin changed his previous attitude, offering no clear explanation and showing no joy despite the other person seemingly caring about him.

His deep, magnetic voice carried a hint of fierceness.

"Who dares to laugh?"

That's it? Chu Wuyang was somewhat disappointed.

The expected reaction is at least that Yunyang will be dealt with in some way during the operation.

It seems she didn't administer enough of the sedative.

In her panic, a sudden sharp pain shot through her, and Chu Wuyang let out a soft groan, "It hurts..." as she flinched and pushed his hand away.

He forcefully pushed it aside, his tone ambiguous.

"Does it hurt? You're still not learning your lesson even though it hurts? I think you're just bored, aren't you?"

Chu Wuyang pursed her lips. She had spent so much time acting without gaining anything, and she couldn't be bothered to pay any more attention to him. It was a waste of her emotions.

After Jingmin applied the medicine and carefully bandaged the wound, he straightened up. Seeing that the person was not saying much, he raised an eyebrow, put the medicine box aside, and left.

The voice became more patient.

"Too boring? Shall we remove the signal jamming tomorrow?"

Chu Wuyang's eyes lit up, but she remained expressionless.

She was afraid Jingmin was just trying to coax her, so she didn't dare agree.

Despite the huge commotion a few days ago, he didn't show the slightest sign of relenting; now he's personally handing over the cage key.

Who knows what he's up to this time? Maybe he's set a trap and is just waiting for her to fall into it.

Just as she was still having doubts, Maria came in and brought out some fruit. She also tidied up the first-aid kit that Jingmin had just left.

Jing Min stood there casually, staring at Chu Wuyang.

After Maria finished packing her things and was about to leave,

Jingmin called out to stop him.

"Your name is Maria, right?"

Maria turned around in a panic, "Yes, sir."

Jing Min spoke in a clear and calm voice.

"It's nothing, just asking if your family is alright."

“Very good, sir. Thank you for hiring me despite our past disagreements. My family and I are very grateful to you.”

Maria said sincerely

Jing Min glanced at Chu Wuyang, his gaze carrying a hidden meaning.

"If you want to thank someone, thank Madam. You have no idea that she had a huge argument with me because of you."

A look of surprise flashed in Maria's eyes, followed by a surge of emotion. She spoke with gratitude and a touch of shame.

"Madam, I'm sorry, my matter has caused a rift between you and my husband. You've really misunderstood him."

Chu Wuyang forced a smile. Maria had been innocently harmed because of his threats, and now she was grateful to him.

Is Jingmin trying to embarrass her?

She could tell that Jingmin was subtly targeting her!

That day she went on a rampage, hurling insults at him, calling him a murderer who killed Maria, but Maria is standing right here, perfectly fine. She misunderstood him.

Saying that Maria should apologize is actually a way of making her apologize voluntarily!

Even so, she still thought to herself that even if she was in the wrong,

But the root cause can be traced back to his series of insane behaviors.

Oh, and Yang Jinchu is still in the hospital! She wasn't wrong, he really is crazy.

She turned her head away, unappreciative.

"Okay, it's alright, Maria, you can go out now!"

Maria nodded and was about to leave, but Jingmin called her back.

"Maria, I heard from Butler He that your family is in dire straits and has a lot of debt. Considering how diligently you take care of Madam, would you like me to help you?" The tone was chillingly friendly.

Although Maria sensed something was amiss, she was still deeply moved; no employer had ever shown such concern for the family of their domestic helper.

She shook her head and looked at Chu Wuyang.

"Thank you, sir, but no need, madam..."

Chu Wuyang hurriedly interrupted.

"You don't need to be so polite. Your husband is so poor that all he has left is money. But one thing is certain: your husband hates being lied to. Maria, think carefully before you answer!"

The voice was soft and gentle, carrying a thoughtful reminder.

Maria seemed to snap out of her daze, her expression still somewhat sluggish, and she changed her tune, stammering...

"Thank you, sir and madam. You have already helped me a lot. Butler He has given me double my salary, which is more than enough to pay off the family's debts."

"In that case, I won't force you. You can leave now!"

Chu Wuyang hurriedly sent someone away, and after speaking, she glanced at Jing Min. She had a feeling that Jing Min definitely knew.

He sat there, his expression indifferent and aloof, leaning casually against the back of the sofa.

His left leg was bent, his right leg extended, and he moved with an air of effortless ease, quietly watching her.

After Maria left and the door closed, Chu Wuyang's heartbeat began to stabilize.

She was genuinely afraid Maria would bring up the ring, and if that happened, Jingmin might go crazy again.

That would not only affect my own plans, but also the aforementioned removal of the signal would have to be cancelled.

Thank goodness, she gently touched her heart; it had really skipped a beat.
