Just as Jing Min was about to deliver a finishing kick, two urgent female voices pierced the air simultaneously like sharp arrows:
"don't want!"
Jing Min frowned and looked in the direction of the sound.
Yun Yang was seen walking shakily down the helicopter stairs, looking so delicate that a gust of wind could blow her over.
He snorted coldly and slowly retracted his foot, which was poised to strike.
Then he turned around nimbly, strode towards Chu Wuyang without saying a word, stretched out his long arm and picked her up horizontally.
"Let me go!"
Chu Wuyang was both shocked and angry. Her face turned bright red, and she waved her hands wildly in the air, struggling desperately.
Zhou Chen, looking disheveled, scrambled to his feet and shouted anxiously:
"Hey, Jingmin, what are you doing? Put him down first!"
Jing Min turned his head and glared angrily at him:
Mind your own business!
Chu Wuyang continued to wriggle in his arms.
Jing Min's lips curled into a half-smile, but the smile didn't reach his eyes, and his voice carried a hint of mockery:
"What? Others can hug me, but I can't?"
Having said that, he took a few quick strides, using his long, slender legs to climb onto the helicopter.
He gently placed Chu Wuyang on the chair and then knelt down to examine her.
Chu Wuyang coldly reached out and forcefully pushed him away.
"First Dance of the Sun!"
Jing Min's voice suddenly turned low and deep, like muffled thunder, his eyes fixed on her, filled with doubt and anger.
What exactly do you mean?
Chu Wuyang didn't even glance at him, and even moved aside slightly.
That obvious attempt to distance himself from him felt like a sharp blade piercing straight into Jing Min's heart.
His eyes instantly turned angry and deep, like those of an enraged wild beast.
He suddenly grabbed her slender wrist and questioned her through gritted teeth:
"You despise me? You think my hand is dirty because I held someone else's? You don't want me to hold your hand or touch you?"
Jing Min's voice was like a biting cold wind; as soon as it left his mouth,
This caused Yun Yang, who was holding onto the cabin door and about to step into the helicopter, to suddenly shudder.
Her face instantly turned deathly pale, devoid of any color, and her body involuntarily staggered.
Zhou Chen, who was standing beside her, reacted quickly and reached out to pull her into his arms, stabilizing her as she swayed.
"Jingmin, that's enough, don't go too far!"
Zhou Chen frowned, his face full of anger.
His gaze then fell on Chu Wuyang's wrist, which was rubbed red.
The last vestiges of conscience within him began to stir, and he couldn't help but voice his condemnation.
"Didn't you see that she's unwilling? She's not your employee, she doesn't have to listen to you! Don't be so authoritarian!"
Jing Min's narrow eyes narrowed slightly, his tone cool and tinged with disdain:
"Not my employee? You don't need to listen to me? Ha!"
Then, he raised his chin, pointed to the hatch, and his tone suddenly became harsh and unreasonable.
"This helicopter is mine, and I hired the pilot. He has to listen to me! Get out of here!"
Once this petty man gets angry, he completely abandons reason and launches an indiscriminate attack.
Upon hearing this, Chu Wuyang and Yun Yang both turned around in astonishment, their eyes filled with surprise.
Even Zhou Chen's eyes widened, and he shouted incredulously:
"Are you kidding me?!"
Chu Wuyang frowned slightly, her tone full of reproach and blame:
"Do you really need to do this? It's not like there's no room for you."
"Look around here, there's no village or shop in sight. If we get off the plane now and have to call another one over, we'll have to reapply for the flight route. How much time and effort would that take?"
Jing Min listened to Chu Wuyang's words, each one clearly showing consideration for others.
His brow seemed to be shrouded in dark clouds, the gloom growing heavier and his face becoming increasingly somber.
Just then, a soft, gentle female voice quietly entered:
"Then I'll go with you! It's the same if I leave tomorrow."
Those words were spoken to Zhou Chen; though the voice was soft, it was like a pebble dropped into a calm lake.
This created ripples in the tense atmosphere.
The air seemed to freeze, remaining still for several seconds.
Zhou Chen gave Jing Min a deep look, his eyes seemingly full of meaning, yet also showing a hint of disappointment.
Jingmin's brows furrowed slightly, which was quite noticeable.
Chu Wuyang hurriedly said:
"That won't do! Miss Yun is only just starting to feel better. This place isn't really suitable for recuperation. What if it gets worse?"
As she spoke, she subtly observed Jing Min's expression.
Jing Min's face was ashen; he held tightly to Chu Wuyang's arm without uttering a word.
He then abruptly stood up, pulled her along, and headed straight for another helicopter.
Chu Wuyang stumbled as he was dragged forward, then he picked her up as they went down the steps.
Zhou Chen wanted to stop him.
Chu Wuyang spoke up in time.
"It's alright, please sit down here!"
After the two boarded the new helicopter,
Jing Min quickly gave the order, arranging for the bodyguards who were originally sitting here to sit back in Zhou Chen's car.
The helicopter slowly ascended into the air, but the atmosphere inside the cabin remained heavy.
Chu Wuyang turned her head away and coldly uttered a sentence:
"Be careful, or you'll end up with no friends!"
Jing Min's lips curled into a mocking sneer, his eyes filled with resentment, as he retorted:
"Do friends deliberately poke at your heart?"
Chu Wuyang closed her eyes slightly, took a deep breath, and tried to regulate her erratic breathing before continuing:
"Can you not be so sensitive? What he said isn't even true. We played together when we were kids..."
