In a private, quiet, upscale psychological counseling room, the lights dimmed, and the therapy session ended.
Dr. Lina changed out of her white coat and walked towards the waiting area with a relaxed expression.
"Mrs. Jing, you are so thoughtful, always accompanying Mr. Jing."
Chu Wuyang stood up, her fingers gripping the bag strap tightly, and asked somewhat evasively,
"Dr. Lina, how did today go?"
Lina smiled and nodded, gesturing for her assistant to bring the newly generated report.
"Everything went smoothly, look at these data—"
She pointed to the densely packed curves and EEG scans on the document.
"Mr. Jing's prefrontal cortex activity and emotional regulation response have significantly improved."
"Especially with recent EEG monitoring, impulsive reactions and aggressive signals have been reduced to a safe range, which is a very good development for long-term treatment."
Chu Wuyang lowered her head, flipping through the documents, her fingertips turning each page one by one, as if she couldn't be at ease no matter how she looked at them.
Lina couldn't help but laugh.
"What? Mrs. Jing is Mr. Jing's closest person, don't you realize that?"
“Recently, his emotional fluctuations and anger management have become much more stable. Given time, he will definitely be able to fully recover and become a normal person.”
"Even when I'm angry, I won't let my emotions control me anymore and cause me to act out of control."
Chu Wuyang listened, her hand paused slightly, she raised her head, and her eyes were momentarily dazed.
"Yeah……"
Lina chuckled softly.
"Yes, Mrs. Jing, do you have any other concerns?"
Chu Wuyang clenched her fingers, hesitated, and spoke.
"Will this improvement in mood cause other side effects? Such as delusions or suspicions?"
Lina paused slightly, pondered for a moment, and then revealed a professional and patient expression.
"Strictly speaking, emotional stability means he can view problems more rationally and is not easily driven by subjective assumptions. But—"
Before she could finish speaking, a deep click of a door lock interrupted her.
Chu Wuyang suddenly looked up and met Jing Min, who had straightened his clothes and walked out of the treatment room.
The man's expression was as cold and stern as ever. His collar was slightly open, his black hair was a little messy, and he looked at her with a deep gaze.
Chu Wuyang took a light breath, quickly averted her gaze, and looked at Lina.
"Thank you, Dr. Lina, I understand."
Chu Wuyang didn't say a word, bypassed Jing Min, and walked straight ahead.
Jing Min frowned and took two steps to catch up.
Where to?
Chu Wuyang didn't even turn her head, coldly uttering two words.
"Hospital."
Jingmin's tone immediately turned cold.
"You can't even skip a day?"
Chu Wuyang didn't bother to respond, her steps unwavering, her attitude clear—no.
Jing Min's heart skipped a beat. He paused, then softened his tone.
"Weren't you just talking to Lina about the treatment progress? You haven't properly told me yet."
Chu Wuyang pushed away his outstretched hand.
"We'll talk about it tonight."
Just then, the car she had called in advance arrived. She got in the car decisively, giving Jing Min no chance to say another word.
Jing Min stood there, watching her car drive away. His face darkened instantly, and he couldn't help but kick the roadside green belt. He turned around angrily and walked towards his own car.
As soon as he got into the car, Li Yan tentatively looked in the rearview mirror and said,
"Mr. Jing, shall we go to the company?"
Jing Min leaned his elbow against the window frame, his long legs bent, his eyes dark and brooding.
"Keep up—to the hospital!"
The VIP ward on the top floor of the hospital was silent.
Jingmin stood at the door, his hand on the doorknob, but he didn't push it open.
The door was ajar, and a warm light shone through a crack, along with the sound of a boy's coquettish voice.
"Sister, dear sister, I want to eat sweet soup."
Jin Xian's voice was soft and slightly coquettish.
Chu Wuyang smiled.
"Okay, I'll go buy it for you later."
"I still want to drink that stewed pear soup."
"Okay, I'll bring it to you tonight."
"Sis, could you massage my shoulders? They're so sore..."
"Lie still and don't move."
Chu Wuyang spoke softly, her hands moving nimbly, her tone extremely patient.
Jingmin peered through the crack in the door, his gaze slowly sinking in inch by inch.
Seeing Jin Xian half-lying on the hospital bed, his short black hair disheveled, his face pale, yet his eyes smiling,
Chu Wuyang sat on the edge of the bed, looking down as she massaged his shoulders, a slight smile on her lips.
His Adam's apple bobbed slightly, his knuckles tightened little by little, and the veins on his hand gripping the doorknob bulged, but he still didn't push the door open.
He had never enjoyed such treatment.
What gives him the right?
Jing Min's gaze darkened as he stared at Jin Xian, his expression remaining unchanged.
Like wind blowing across a calm surface of water, there are silent undercurrents.
Finally, upon hearing Jin Xian softly call out...
When she said, "Sister, feed me some water..."
A dangerous glint suddenly flashed in Jing Min's eyes.
His knuckles were taut, the doorknob almost deformed from his grip, veins bulging, and murderous intent surged in his chest.
In the end, he managed to suppress the urge that was about to explode, closed his eyes, and turned to leave.
As soon as he sat in the car, the temperature inside seemed to be instantly drained away, and Li Yan felt a chilling cold as he gripped the steering wheel.
He glanced in the rearview mirror—Jing Min was leaning back in his seat, eyes closed, face ashen, chest heaving slightly, as if he might overturn something at any moment.
Even with his eyes closed, Jing Min seemed to sense his gaze and coldly gave an order.
"Make a call and bring that woman from the photography studio to the company."
Li Yan felt a chill run down his spine and immediately understood.
The day Chu Wuyang had the accident on set, they had actually already checked the surveillance footage and identified the assistant behind the scenes.
