Chapter 196 Not Replying to Messages

Jing Min ignored him, his gaze remaining fixed on Chu Wuyang.

It was as if they were waiting for her explanation.

Or rather, he never intended to give her a chance not to explain.

Chu Wuyang took a deep breath, a hint of impatience flashing in his eyes.

She looked directly at Jing Min, her tone calm and even:

"Whether I reply to your messages or not is my prerogative! Mr. Jing, are you even interfering with this?"

Jing Min's jaw tightened slightly, his eyes suddenly turned cold, and his voice became low and hoarse:

What do you think?

The atmosphere suddenly plummeted to freezing point, and the parking lot fell into a deathly silence.

Jin Xian put his hands in his pockets and looked around with great interest.

As if enjoying this tense standoff,

He chuckled and lazily interjected:

"Hey, Mr. Jing, that'll scare the girl. Besides, my sister and I—"

"Shut up!"

Jing Min gave him a cold glance, his sharp gaze like a razor-sharp knife.

This effectively silenced Jin Xian from saying anything further.

Jin Xian raised an eyebrow, shrugged, and gave a soft snort.

He didn't say anything more.

Chu Wuyang ignored the tension between them, her tone remaining cold:

"Mr. Jing, please move aside."

Jing Min didn't move, his gaze fixed intently on her.

His voice was low and hoarse, carrying a hint of suppressed anger:

"You knew I was waiting for you, yet you deliberately ignored my messages, all for this person?"

He practically spat out the last few words, his restrained emotions teetering on the verge of spiraling out of control.

Chu Wuyang slightly raised her eyes.

His gaze calmly fell on Jing Min's face.

A slow, mocking smile curved her lips; her voice was soft yet every word was barbed.

"You have no right to ask!"

Just five words,

But it was like a sharp knife, piercing straight into Jing Min's heart, severing all his feigned composure.

The man's face suddenly darkened, and suppressed anger surged in his eyes.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, staring at her dangerously.

Like a cheetah that has been completely enraged.

The next second,

He suddenly reached out and grabbed Chu Wuyang's wrist. The force wasn't strong, but it carried an undeniable and forceful strength.

He suddenly pulled her close to him.

"Let's see if I'm qualified."

His voice was deep.

With a hint of gritted teeth and suppressed anger, his breath was almost touching her forehead, and a sense of oppression suddenly pressed in from all sides.

Chu Wuyang was forced to get closer.

Yet she still met his gaze with a calm expression.

She didn't even flinch, as if his anger was nothing more than a trivial performance to her.

Originally, she wanted to tell him about his relationship with Yun Yang directly.

But considering that this time and place were inappropriate, and there was also an unrelated person present,

She pursed her lips.

He impatiently looked away, a feeling of disgust welling up inside him, a reluctance to get entangled with a madman.

She has evidence of his "cheating," so she's very confident!

Thinking of this,

Without hesitation, she shook off his hand, the movement as swift as brushing off some unsightly dust.

He then got back into his car without looking back, his eyes extremely cold.

Jingmin instinctively wanted to speak again,

But before he could say it,

A hand suddenly blocked his chest.

"Hey, Mr. Jing, that's enough."

Jin Xian lazily reached out to stop Jing Min.

With an expression that said, "I can't stand it anymore," and a mocking smile playing on his lips,

His tone was nonchalant yet tinged with disdain.

"Don't you have any manners? Isn't it incredibly degrading to harass and force a girl like this?"

Jing Min glanced at him coldly, his eyes as deep and dark as the night.

Suppressed anger simmered in his eyes.

To be questioned in this way by a pretty boy

He was genuinely so angry he laughed.

A cold smirk curled at the corner of his lips, his voice low and husky, carrying an undisguised warning—

"If you really want to have something happen with this kid, I advise you to give up on that idea as soon as possible."

He paused,

His voice was colder, and his eyes were as sharp as a blade.

“Crushing him is easier for me than crushing an ant.”

This was said to Chu Wuyang, who was already sitting in the car.

She glanced at him through the car window.

His expression remained indifferent.

Not even a tremor of her eyelashes, only a slight upturn of her lips.

He uttered two words in a cool voice—

"casual!"

As soon as he finished speaking,

With a loud roar, the engine started up.

Chu Wuyang stepped on the gas without hesitation, and the car roared out of the parking lot.

Without even a pause,

They completely shook off the two people behind them.

The air fell silent instantly.

Only two figures remained facing each other in the huge parking lot, the atmosphere eerily tense.

Jin Xian blinked.

He gave Jing Min a meaningful look, a smirk playing on his lips.

He clicked his tongue softly.

With an expression of utter disdain, he muttered lazily:

"No wonder, they don't like you."

After saying that, he patted the hem of his suit jacket and slowly put his sunglasses back on his nose.

They swaggered away.

Jingmin was left standing there with a gloomy expression.

His brows were furrowed, his fists clenched slightly, and his face was so cold it seemed like it could drip water.
