Chu Wuyang looked at the chaotic scene before her.
There's no need to even think about it; it's obvious who did it.
But what methods did he use to be able to track her whereabouts at any time?
She had already had someone check, and there was absolutely no one following her anymore.
The phone didn't have any pre-installed software.
Given that man's twisted possessiveness,
If she continues to act this crazy, I'm afraid no man will dare to approach her.
Xie Zhaolin is not innocent,
But she didn't want anyone else to suffer because of this.
Jingmin is now much darker and more twisted than before.
In the past, they would also make verbal threats.
Now they're just going all in.
She truly felt like she was being possessed by a demon, constantly plagued by a sense of unease.
It felt like there was an axe hanging over their heads, ready to strike at the slightest breeze.
Just then, my phone rang.
A text message from an unknown number popped up on the screen.
It's still the same familiar format: hotel address, room number included, in a simple and straightforward tone.
She hadn't even had a chance to start cursing.
The second text message came in, explaining how to void the contract she had just signed.
The reason is simple and direct: Xie Zhaolin does not have the final signing authority, the project authorization has not yet been submitted to the legal department, and any oral or written agreement is invalid.
Chu Wuyang: "..."
When Chu Wuyang stood at the hotel room door, she realized that she had been tricked again.
The man clearly knew from the beginning that Xie Zhaolin's signature was invalid; he was just having fun teasing her.
That's outrageous!
Just as she turned to leave, the door opened from the inside, and a large hand reached out and dragged her inside.
Chu Wuyang bumped directly into the man's arms.
Before she could even see what was inside the door, she was already pinned against the wall, her breath choked.
Chu Wuyang placed her hands on the man's chest; the warm touch made her tremble.
He wasn't wearing any clothes?
They kissed for an unknown amount of time before the man finally released her, his forehead resting against Chu Wuyang's, slightly out of breath.
Chu Wuyang felt a burning pain in her mouth.
But at least it gave her a chance to catch her breath.
The curtains inside were drawn tightly, letting in only a faint sliver of natural light.
The air was filled with the scent of a man's shower gel and the room was filled with the fragrance of roses.
The man slightly crouched down, lifted her up, and carried her towards the bathroom.
He even patted her on the shoulder.
"Cheap roses have left me smelling tacky all over; time for a bath."
Soon, the bathroom was filled with steam, and two indistinct figures appeared on the mirror.
The woman's angry voice was broken up by the steam, dispersing into a series of low, hoarse murmurs.
The water in the bathtub rippled and spread slowly along the black floor tiles, like a silent loss of control.
After a long while, when it was already dark, the man carefully placed the woman, wrapped in a bath towel, onto the bed.
He buried his head in the crook of the woman's neck, taking a light, comforting breath.
"Finally, my scent is all over my body."
He slightly raised his head and saw that her curled eyelashes were still covered with water droplets, trembling gently like wings.
I couldn't resist leaning down and kissing him again.
A smile played on his lips, but his tone carried an unreasonable domineering air.
How can you shed tears for someone else?
He added in a low voice,
Pretending won't work either.
Chu Wuyang suddenly opened her eyes, her eyes red as if she had just cried, and filled with suppressed anger.
"Who do you think you are? What right do you have to tell me what to do?"
How can you control everything, from heaven and earth, and even control her tears and breathing?
And he had indeed seen her clumsy performance in front of Xie Zhaolin not long ago.
He enjoyed watching her struggle, but he could easily bring her back to her original state with just a word from him.
The man paused for two seconds, then chuckled softly and repeated,
"What am I?"
"Are you upset?"
"Is this... asking me for a formal status?"
Chu Wuyang turned her head away and remained silent.
He'll fall for that kind of question if he answers it.
He would definitely take the opportunity to mock her for not recognizing her own status.
Chu Wuyang had considered this before.
If he didn't have a "real love" by his side, perhaps all of this wouldn't have made her so upset.
But this despicable status was precisely what the man wanted; otherwise, how could he have achieved his goal of taking revenge on her and humiliating her?
The man gazed intently at her, his eyes deep and unfathomable, and after a long while, he slowly lowered his eyelashes.
