He found a necklace in the cabinet next to him and put it on her.
The necklace is exquisite, shimmering with a dazzling light, and contains a miniature locator.
“Don’t take it off,” he said.
"Why?" she asked, frowning, and reached out to touch the necklace again.
He remained silent.

Chu Lincheng frowned slightly.

Jiang Zhiyi pursed her lips and remained silent.
Chu Lincheng held her quietly, and he looked somewhat tired.
He tried to calm himself down, as the events of the past two days had indeed made him somewhat out of control.
A long time passed.
He said calmly, "I didn't want to tell you about my parents' situation, so I've been secretly helping them deal with it. To put it another way, I mean we're already very entangled, so you need me... and similarly, I can't live without you."
“If there’s anything I haven’t done well, you can tell me directly. I hope you can value our relationship. You said you wanted to spend your whole life with me, so you have to keep your promise.”

Jiang Zhiyi sighed inwardly; she didn't want to argue with him now.
She changed the subject, asking, "What did you mean by saying there's going to be a good show tomorrow?"
Chu Lincheng: "I found someone, Gu Xinya's biological father, Hong Cai."
“Isn’t he already dead?” she asked.
“He’s not dead. He has a lot of gambling debts, so he’s been hiding outside… You don’t need to worry about these things, you’ll find out when the time comes,” Chu Lincheng replied.
"Oh, I want to sleep for a while now, don't bother me." Jiang Zhiyi pushed him away and lay down on the bed with her eyes closed.
Chu Lincheng straightened the blankets for her and then sat by the bed to watch over her.
