The people standing nearby had no idea what the person on the other end of the phone was saying; they only saw Fu Xunzhou smile, and he seemed to be in a good mood as well.
"What's wrong?" Fu Xunzhou asked, his tone carrying a hint of barely perceptible tenderness.
"Nothing, I just missed you."
"I'm busy, so I'll talk to you later?"
There was a group of people standing nearby waiting for a report. After learning that Jiang Zhiyi had simply called to act cute, Fu Xunzhou wanted to end the conversation temporarily.
"Brother Xunzhou, are you on a business trip right now?"
"Yes, my flight is tonight, and there's still a few things I haven't finished explaining."

They were at a bar in Night Glam, where the dance floor in the center was full of young men and women.
Under the lights, the swaying dancers and the rhythmic music created a very atmospheric scene.
Jiang Zhiyi and Xu Qingran had both changed their clothes and put on makeup, looking quite different from how they appeared at work before. Now, even if they ran into colleagues or friends, they wouldn't be recognized unless they looked closely.

"No need, thank you, Brother Xunzhou. My driver is outside, I'll be going now." Xu Qingran quickly slipped away.

Fu Xunzhou carried the drunk Jiang Zhiyi upstairs.
Inside the room, Jiang Zhiyi clung to Fu Xunzhou, refusing to let go, burying her head in his chest.
"Let go of me. Let Aunt Liu take you to take a bath first. You reek of alcohol." Fu Xunzhou's tone was not very friendly.
He specifically postponed his evening schedule to go home today, but Jiang Zhiyi didn't return until very late.
I can't get through on the phone; it keeps saying the phone is switched off.
