Remarks on the launch

Remarks on the launch

In the blink of an eye, "The Mist is Coming" has been uploaded for a month. As a newcomer, I had a lot of psychological struggles and was entangled for a long time when writing my first novel.

I am still very grateful to the audience who have persisted and tolerated me (after all, I also think that my writing is pretty bad).

During the writing process, I encountered many difficulties and discovered many problems. The first one was the "first person" issue that many people have raised. Even though I am a new author, I know that the first person is difficult to write. However, the first volume is a doomsday theme. I have been thinking about it for a long time, made many drafts, and also wrote a third-person perspective, but in the end I decided to submit the first-person article internally.

There is no other reason, I just think the suspense at the beginning of this article is the strongest.

Fortunately, the editor was very kind and accepted my first submission (thank you so much).

In addition, when the plot was about 70,000 words, I modified the outline settings, and therefore encountered a serious writer's block. I was in great pain when writing that paragraph, and the plot of the article was extremely watery.

Fortunately, the plot finally returned to the right track when entering the "Mirror World" copy, and everything finally began to develop according to the outline.

In terms of writing style, it is indeed very lacking. In the early days, I would read through what I wrote and look for unreasonable words and typos. Later, due to the requirement of daily updates, I didn't care about so much, resulting in a significant decline in quality.

At present, I am also slowly polishing and exploring, stealing the expression methods of other authors, and at the same time accepting the fact that I am green and lazy.

In addition, the data of this book is actually not very good, and the reviews are both good and bad. I have carefully read the suggestions put forward by everyone.

Many of the suggestions made by the audience were very pertinent and really gave me a lot of inspiration.

Of course, I did not adopt some of the suggestions and opinions because they contradicted my outline. My writing skills are not very good. If I write according to that idea, I may not be able to control the plot due to my poor writing skills, which may cause the whole plot to collapse.

I am still very grateful to the audience who raised questions.

Of course, I did delete some comments that did not provide any suggestions and would affect other readers.

But! Even though I am lazy and my writing is not very good, I still want to finish this novel, and I will try my best to improve my writing skills and strive to bring a better experience to readers.

Regarding the issue of not being fun enough: I know this too. I always remind Ji Ling of the Morse code and other cheats, but I didn’t use them much in the plot.

On the one hand, the protagonist is still very weak. I personally think that if you want the protagonist to be truly happy, you cannot rely on too much external forces, otherwise, by the end of the story, these happy moments will become boring.

Of course, there have to be some exciting moments, so I would like to shamelessly ask the audience to look forward to it!

Once again, I would like to thank all the readers who have persisted until now. I have wanted to stop writing this book countless times before, but every monthly ticket, every follow-up reading and collection, every reward, and daily recommendation ticket has become the motivation to support me to continue writing.

Even though I am terrible, what I can do and what I must do is to finish writing this book and fully present the world of "Mist Falls" to everyone.

It's easy to give up, but it's cooler to persevere.

Anyway, someone will get used to it, right?

Okay, I've finished my rambling. I still have to continue writing, work hard to save drafts, and try to update more every day, so as not to disappoint the audience's expectations.
