While waiting at a traffic light, Gu Anran suddenly smiled and looked at Xiang Ye Lichuan, jokingly saying, "I never imagined my husband was so charming."
Ye Lichuan rested one hand on the steering wheel, looking at her with a deep gaze.
"How so?"
"Yan Jun was attracted to you after just one glance. Doesn't that prove you're charming enough? Aren't you even a little tempted by such a wonderful romantic encounter?" Gu Anran laughed even harder.
However, she still felt a pang of sadness when she heard Yan Jun say those words.
A man as outstanding as Ye Lichuan must have many women wanting to get close to him.

The car stopped outside the Nine Degrees Bar. Gu Anran got out of the car with her bag, and laughed as she looked at the neon sign. It turned out he wanted to take her to a bar to relax.
Nine Degrees Bar is a quiet bar with dim lighting and a live band playing slow songs on stage, creating a slow and languid atmosphere.
When the waiter saw Ye Lichuan, he immediately stepped forward to greet him respectfully.
"Hello, Mr. Night, your private room is ready. Please follow me."
This bar operates on a membership system, with only VIP members having access to private rooms that offer a sufficiently quiet and private space.
Gu Anran followed Ye Lichuan into the private room, and the waiter quickly brought out the wine that Ye Lichuan had arranged in advance.
There was also a bunch of pink snow mountain roses on the table, their color appearing particularly ambiguous under the dim light.
"This is a unique creation by their bartender. Try it," Ye Lichuan said, pushing a glass of light purple liquor toward Gu Anran.
Gu Anran hesitated before picking up the wine glass and taking a careful sip. She found that the wine was not so spicy at all; instead, it had a faint sweet aroma and tasted exceptionally good.
So she simply picked up her wine glass and drank it all in one gulp.
Just as Ye Lichuan was about to fork a piece of fruit for her, he looked at her again and saw that her wine glass was already empty, and his expression changed instantly.
"You drank it all?" Ye Lichuan looked at her in surprise.
Gu Anran burped and nodded matter-of-factly, "Yeah, this wine isn't very strong at all, I want to drink more."
Ye Lichuan was amused by her appearance and quickly said, "This wine may not taste spicy, but it has a strong aftereffect. You'll feel dizzy in a bit."
I was only going to let her try a little, but she ended up drinking it all in one go.
Perhaps it was the alcohol starting to take effect, but Gu Anran felt that Ye Lichuan in front of her was gradually becoming blurry, and she could not even hear what he was saying clearly.
All the worries she had been having at work came flooding back to her, so she picked up the wine glass next to Ye Lichuan and started drinking it in big gulps.
Ye Lichuan quickly sat down next to her and took the wine glass from her hand. She was already drunk after only a few drinks. Luckily, she came to a bar with him.
"Your alcohol tolerance is so low, you're not allowed to drink when I'm not around, understand?" Ye Lichuan pulled her into his arms, looking at her with doting eyes.
Gu Anran snorted twice, seemingly oblivious to what she was hearing, and kept reaching for the wine glass. When she failed, she started to whine, "Give it back to me, and I'll just have one more sip."
Ye Lichuan had no choice but to whisper in her ear, "If you do something, I'll give you some wine."
What kind of performance is required?
Gu Anran narrowed her eyes, looking at him with a dreamy gaze. Suddenly, she cupped his head in her hands, gave him a quick kiss on the corner of his mouth, and winked at him, asking, "Is that enough?"
"Not quite enough." Ye Lichuan's voice turned hoarse as he cupped the back of her head with his large hand and planted a deep kiss on her head.
They kissed for a long time before finally letting go. Gu Anran felt like she was about to suffocate. She stared blankly at the person in front of her.
Ye Lichuan said softly to her, "You've been busy with work lately, and Xiaotian says he's bored every day. How about we have a little sister for him to play with?"
Just as he was about to take action, Gu Anran suddenly felt her mind clear, and she pushed him away and stood up abruptly.
She hurriedly straightened her clothes and said to him, "I'm going to the restroom."
On her way to the restroom, Gu Anran was secretly annoyed. Ye Lichuan was really too reckless this night. How could he be so unruly in a bar? What if someone saw him?
After coming out of the restroom, Gu Anran touched up her lipstick at the public sink, as Ye Lichuan had eaten the lipstick she had just worn.
Looking in the mirror, she suddenly saw a drunken middle-aged man staggering toward her from behind.
"Hey beautiful, are you alone? Want to come grab a drink with me?"
Just as the fat hand was about to land on Gu Anran's waist, it was suddenly grabbed out of nowhere, and the middle-aged man was thrown out in the next instant.
Ye Lichuan pulled Gu Anran behind him and glared coldly at the man on the ground.
The waiter arrived just in time and was so frightened that he quickly apologized to Ye Lichuan.
"I don't want to see him here again." Ye Lichuan said, grabbing Gu Anran's hand and striding out.
