Unaware of his presence, Gu Anran turned around in confusion before receiving his reply. They had been here for almost a week, and Ye's work must have piled up considerably. If he didn't return soon, the employees would probably start complaining.
"Are you worried that I'm disturbing your romantic encounter?"
With a thud, Gu Anran slammed the photo onto the table and got up to walk towards her room.
Ye Lichuan realized he had said the wrong thing and quickly followed behind her. When they reached the door, he was stopped. The loud banging on the door made his ears ring. He wisely waited a while before knocking. "I was just joking, don't be angry."
Gu Anran pretended not to hear, pursed her lips and turned up the TV volume. She wasn't worried at all that he wouldn't have a place to sleep. The room was originally a three-bedroom apartment, but he was being unreasonable and insisted on sleeping with her.
Although she knew it was a joke, she was still a little angry. There was no sound outside the door at some point. She listened for a while, then walked barefoot on the blanket to the door and hesitated as she looked at the doorknob.
She snorted and turned to get back into bed. Sure enough, after being together for a long time, she would throw a little tantrum and be fine as long as he coaxed her. But he ignored her. Gu Anran felt more and more aggrieved and lay on the bed sulking.
After a while, she suddenly heard a sound from the door lock. She tried to get up by propping herself up on the bed, but the door was opened and Ye Lichuan stood in the doorway, looking at her with doting eyes.
"Now even the receptionist knows that my wife and I are having a fight."
Gu Anran looked closely and saw that he was holding a bunch of keys, and the people following behind her were hotel staff. She quickly got up and glared at him.
Ye Lichuan didn't want to be glared at, so he went up, took her hand, thanked the staff, and returned the spare key. The staff member accepted it with a smile and secretly glanced at the two of them a few times before leaving.
"Don't be angry anymore, okay? I know you're worried about my work, but I've already made arrangements. Now all I need to do is stay with you. You're the most important person to me." He looked at her affectionately.
Gu Anran didn't intend to be coy for too long, so she readily agreed, "Since that's the case, then I'll reluctantly agree to let you come with me." She then smiled.
Occasional little romantic gestures act as a lubricant to enhance the relationship between two people, making their lives increasingly sweet and harmonious.
Having just finished watching a family drama, Gu Anran stretched and walked into the open kitchen, watching the tall figure as he methodically arranged vegetables and fruits.
I'm hungry.
"It will be ready soon."
She stepped forward and put her arms around his waist. After holding her hand for a while, Ye Lichuan carefully ladled the porridge from the pot into a bowl, and the unique fragrance of millet porridge slowly spread.
Knowing that she wasn't used to the food here, Ye Lichuan always tried to cook delicious meals for her in different ways. If this carefree life of having no worries about food and drink continued for a while, she might become completely lazy.

After picking out Xiaotian's clothes, she went to the men's clothing section with Ye Lichuan.
She knew Ye Lichuan was handsome, but that didn't mean she would let others stare at her husband without restraint. She took his arm and retorted to all the gazes directed at her.
Noticing her actions, Ye Lichuan took the initiative to put his arm around her slender waist, pulling her into his embrace and blocking those malicious gazes. His obvious act of asserting ownership, coupled with the gleaming ring, deterred many people from taking action.
However, there were still some reckless people who provoked her. Just as she was choosing a suit for Ye Lichuan, a blonde, blue-eyed beauty walked in through the door. When she saw Ye Lichuan, her eyes seemed to be fixed on him.
"Hello, handsome." She strode towards Ye Lichuan with her long legs.
The commotion caught Gu Anran's attention. She looked the woman up and down and couldn't deny that she was a beauty. Her deep features, long golden curly hair, hot figure, and wheat-colored skin all exuded a wildness.
She stood aside, wanting to see what Ye Lichuan would do. Seeing that the woman was taking advantage of the situation and pressing her whole body against her husband, Gu Anran held her breath and walked towards her.
Unaware of what was happening, the foreign beauty was still asking for Ye Lichuan's contact information, saying, "I think we're a good match. If you don't want things to develop so quickly, we can take it slow."
Ye Lichuan took a step back. "I'm married."
"Really? You're not kidding me, are you? But in love, there's no such thing as first come, first served, right?" She leaned closer again. Ye Lichuan looked displeased and was about to shake her off when suddenly a figure blocked his way.
