After dinner, Xiaoling suggested going for a walk, so they headed toward the beach behind the villa. Although her home was next to the beach, Gu Anran rarely went there, preferring instead to stroll in the park, which was a ten-minute walk away.
Now, hand in hand with Ye Lichuan, walking on the beach, feeling the soft sand and the salty sea breeze, she felt a sense of tranquility and serenity.
"Did you really think I was angry today?" She wrapped her arms around Ye Lichuan's neck and looked up at the cautious man.
"Looks like you were lying to me?" Ye Lichuan lightly tapped the tip of her nose, the dim light making her skin appear even whiter and more radiant.
