Ye Lichuan, a business genius, could easily see through her little scheme; this little woman was shy.
He deliberately turned off the light. Gu Anran saw that the bedroom light was off, and she waited for another twenty minutes. She thought Ye Lichuan should be asleep by now, since so much time had passed.
She turned off the bathroom light, tiptoed to open the door, and found the bedroom pitch black. She had only taken a few steps when she bumped into something hard, thinking she had hit a decoration in the house.
As she touched the ground, preparing to walk around it, she was suddenly lifted up, startling her so much that she screamed, "Ah..."

Looking at the flustered Gu Anran, Ye Lichuan smiled slightly and gently pinched her nose, saying, "Wife, tonight is our wedding night. You wouldn't bear to leave me all alone, would you?"
"I want to grow old with you, for a long, long time. Will you?"
Gu Anran nodded unconsciously, and Ye Lichuan felt a sweet warmth in his heart upon receiving her response. He gently kissed Gu Anran's sexy red lips, his hands also restlessly caressing her. The sounds of Gu Anran's aroused moans filled the bedroom, creating ripples throughout the room.

Ye Lichuan chuckled sheepishly, "Okay, baby, it's my fault. I was so busy eating you that I forgot to feed you."
Gu Anran glared at him irritably, then deliberately turned away from him and said, "Go cook, I want to eat something delicious."
Ye Lichuan put on his pajamas and looked at his wife with a smile, saying, "Okay, you can sleep for a while. I'll wake you up when dinner is ready."
Since meeting Gu Anran, Ye Lichuan has regained his popularity and seems to have found direction in life.
He went to the kitchen with great enthusiasm, opened the refrigerator, took out various fresh ingredients, and made sweet and sour pork ribs, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, Kung Pao chicken, and stir-fried lettuce for Gu Anran.
He looked at the table full of dishes and nodded in satisfaction. He washed his hands before going upstairs. Gu Anran fell asleep again after Ye Lichuan came downstairs. She was exhausted from being tossed and turned, and was also hungry, so she fell asleep again.
Ye Lichuan pushed open the bedroom door and saw Gu Anran sleeping peacefully. Hearing her steady breathing, he smiled slightly and said, "Lazy pig, get up. The food is ready."
Gu Anran, still half-asleep, opened her eyes immediately upon hearing Ye Lichuan's words. She sat up and asked, "Can we eat now?"
Looking at her clumsy appearance, Ye Lichuan smiled and said, "Get up and go eat something before you go back to sleep."
Gu Anran nodded shyly and said, "Okay." She was just about to get out of bed when she suddenly jumped and instinctively hugged Ye Lichuan's neck tightly.
She said sweetly, "I'll walk by myself."
Ye Lichuan looked at her with a happy expression and said, "My dear wife, you've worked hard. Let me carry you to dinner."
Gu Anran smiled sweetly, feeling pampered by him. She looked at him affectionately and said softly, "Okay."
Ye Lichuan picked up Gu Anran and carried her step by step to the living room. He walked steadily downstairs and gently placed her on the dining chair before getting her a pair of slippers to wear.
Ye Lichuan took meticulous care of her every little detail. Gu Anran felt as sweet as honey in her heart.
Gu Anran glanced at the dishes on the table and couldn't help but swallow. She was so hungry that she felt dizzy. She picked up her chopsticks and began to wolf down her food.
Seeing how quickly she was eating, Ye Lichuan hurriedly said, "Eat slowly, no one will take it from you. I'll make you more if you're not full."
Gu Anran puffed out her cheeks and stammered as she gnawed on a rib, "It's so delicious."
Seeing how happily she ate, and how generously she praised him, Ye Lichuan felt extremely pleased.
Suddenly, it occurred to her: "Ah Ran, we're already married. When do you think we should have the wedding banquet?"
Gu Anran ate while thinking. They had just started dating, and she didn't want her colleagues to know yet.
She looked at Ye Lichuan guiltily, as if she wanted to say something but hesitated. Ye Lichuan looked at her amusedly and asked, "What do you want to say? Go ahead and say it."
She stammered, "Um, could we not announce the marriage yet?"
Ye Lichuan's expression changed slightly as he looked at her and asked, "Why?"
Gu Anran looked at Ye Lichuan's face, which was as black as the bottom of a pot. If he didn't give a reasonable explanation, she thought he would slap himself to death.
Gu Anran said earnestly, "My work is on track, and I don't want to give it up. I want to continue working."
