Ye Lichuan frowned and looked at the kid in front of him with a puzzled expression, and asked, "Are you sure you can do it?"
"If you recover all the data, I'll consider giving your mom a chance to interview."
Gu Xiaotian smiled and extended his hand to Ye Lichuan: "A real man makes a vow with a high five, no cheating allowed."
The assistant standing to the side shrank back in fright when he heard Gu Xiaotian speaking to Ye Lichuan like that.
Gu Anran looked at the two figures, one big and one small, standing in front of her and fell into deep thought. Why did she have the illusion that Xiaotian and Ye Lichuan looked alike?
"Could it be a lingering effect of being frightened?" As she pondered this, a small figure excitedly rushed into her arms.
"Mommy, how are you?"
Gu Anran looked at the little one in her arms with gentle eyes, stroked his little head and smiled slightly: "Mommy is fine, thank you baby."
After Xu Hui pulled the power switch, she rushed over to find Gu Anran. As soon as she arrived, she saw Ye Lichuan, who was as cold as an iceberg in the crowd.
She muttered fearfully, "I'm doomed this time."
Xu Hui quietly walked up to Gu Anran, tugged at her sleeve, and whispered, "What's going on?"
Why is the CEO here?
Gu Anran held Xu Hui's hand tightly and whispered in her ear, "He saved me."
Xu Hui covered her mouth in surprise, looking at Gu Anran in disbelief: "Are you serious?"
Gu Xiaotian confidently walked to Ye Lichuan's side and smiled slightly: "Handsome uncle, you can begin."
Ye Lichuan, devoid of any warmth, ordered his assistant, "Take him to the computer room."
Gu Xiaotian frowned thoughtfully and said, "I want to operate it by myself."
The hallway fell silent instantly, and everyone swallowed hard. No one had ever dared to make a request of Ye Lichuan before.
Ye Lichuan remained silent as he looked at the confident Gu Xiaotian in front of him. Why did he have a feeling of déjà vu about this little guy?
He glanced at his assistant dismissively and said expressionlessly, "Take him with you?"
Ye Lichuan's words instantly petrified everyone around him, leaving a moment of silence.
The assistant, realizing what was happening, immediately replied, "Oh, I'll be right there."
The more Gu Anran looked at Xiao Tian, the more she felt that he and Ye Lichuan looked alike, and her heart began to beat irregularly.
To protect Xiaotian, she cannot let anyone think they look alike.
Ye Lichuan didn't know what came over him, but he inexplicably agreed.
The employees huddled together and whispered, "Is this still the CEO?" Everyone was filled with questions, and no one dared to utter a sound.
Gu Xiaotian went inside to repair the data, while the others waited outside.
Not long after, Gu Xiaotian walked up to Ye Lichuan with a big smile. He looked at Ye Lichuan with a grin and said happily, "Uncle has taken care of it. I also fixed a few bugs for you."
Ye Lichuan gave his assistant a sharp look.
The assistant reported nervously, "President, the data has been restored."
Ye Lichuan began to seriously examine the mother and son; they were quite interesting.
Ye Lichuan patted Gu Xiaotian on the shoulder and said gently, "Little one, you did a good job. You are very responsible. I will make an exception and give your mother a chance."
He looked at Gu Xiaotian with a gentle expression and said seriously, "I hope she can be as outstanding as you, instead of wasting my time."
Gu Xiaotian, with a displeased and angry expression, said, "Handsome uncle, my mom is very powerful."
Gu Anran nervously waved to Xiao Tian, who obediently held his mother's hand.
Gu Anran bent down and patted Xiaotian's head, kissing his chubby face gently, and said tenderly, "Baby, why don't you go back with Aunt Xu Hui first?"
Xiao Tian happily hugged Gu Anran and said cheerfully, "Okay, Mommy, you can do it!"
Gu Anran was immediately filled with confidence, determined to secure the position for her and Xiaotian's sake.
She has always been serious and dedicated to her work.
Gu Anran respectfully handed the manuscript to Ye Lichuan and several interviewers.
He began earnestly explaining his design concepts and elements, but the door was suddenly opened halfway through his explanation.
Ye Lichuan frowned unhappily and looked towards the door.
Liu Xinrou swayed her hips as she walked in, looking at Ye Lichuan with a bouncy expression: "Ye, I missed you, I wanted to wait for you to have dinner together."
She glanced at Gu Anran sideways, then smiled and said to Ye Lichuan, "Don't worry, they won't bother you while you're working."
"Pfft!" Gu Anran almost choked on her own saliva.
She thought to herself, "Ugly people really do a lot of weird things."
Liu Xinrou walked awkwardly to Ye Lichuan's side and sat down, deliberately saying, "Ye, do you want some water? I'll feed you."
Ye Lichuan rubbed his temples and glanced at his assistant with displeasure.
The assistant hurriedly ran over and whispered, "Sister Xinrou, please sit here first. The president is working. You know his temper."
Liu Xinrou curled her lips in disdain, looked at the manicure on her hands, and glanced at Gu Anran unhappily: "What's so good about her tacky design?"
She tossed her hair and muttered, "Listening to her is less worthwhile than watching me. It's a waste of my date with Ye."
The assistant shook his head helplessly and looked at her: "This Liu Xinrou is hopeless. If she hadn't climbed into the president's bed, I would have slapped her to death."
Ye Lichuan glanced coldly at Gu Anran and said, "Continue."
Gu Anran continued to explain her design.
After looking at Gu Anran's design, Liu Xinrou stared at Gu Anran with a sinister look, clutching her skirt with both hands and thinking maliciously, "I didn't expect that this bitch not only didn't die, but her design skills have actually reached a new level."
