Chapter Twenty: Clever Ideas
As usual, You Sui'an teased Li Yunxing, while Xiao Chou stood beside her watching her.
You Suian was somewhat surprised. Ever since she rejected him last time, Xiao Chou had never contacted her again, even though they sat at desks next to each other.
Xiao Chou wouldn't look back, and You Sui'an completely ignored him.
Today, Xiao Chou said very seriously that he wanted to talk to her.
How strange. You Sui'an then took a closer look at Xiao Chou. His eyes were clearly bloodshot, his hair was somewhat disheveled, and he looked listless.
Surely I can't be the one to give him psychological counseling, right? Besides, shouldn't this kind of thing be handled by the homeroom teacher or some gentle and kind teacher? You Sui'an marveled at the sight, but didn't take it to heart. Tang Qingyue had seen far more entertaining melodramatic dramas than this.
Xiao Chou walked all the way to the empty stairwell before stopping. There were only a few students passing by, and no teachers around at the moment.
You Sui'an became even more curious about what Xiao Chou was up to.
However, she wasn't in a hurry. She even had the leisure to lean against the wall, find a comfortable position, and watch him with a relaxed air.

Xiao Chou just stared at her angrily, and You Suian was afraid he would pop his eyeballs out.
Seeing You Sui'an's dismissive attitude, Xiao Chou clenched his fists tightly, as if he were experiencing some great humiliation.
"Tsk, this is really boring." You Sui'an glanced at him wearily.
One glance was enough to leave Xiao Chou at a loss for what to do.
You Sui'an exuded a powerful aura, without deliberately showing off her gaze, yet her eyes held an undeniable sharpness.
She only glanced at him, and he deflated like a punctured balloon.
She indifferently bestowed upon Xiao Chou an answer that he subconsciously longed for.
"Of course. I made her so angry that she secretly cried in the middle of the night. Do you want to go and comfort her? Now is a great opportunity."
You Suian found it somewhat amusing, but too lazy to deny anything, so he casually admitted it, with a faint smile even in the corner of his eye.
She didn't care about either of them, nor did she want to know what Tao Yan had said. She only knew that agreeing would save her a lot of trouble, such as getting entangled in arguments and interrogations.

Although he had received an answer, Xiao Chou still felt somewhat uneasy for some reason.

He seems to like her now, even though she's not pretty enough, has a bad temper, and isn't outstanding in academics.
How could anyone refuse someone who is so ordinary?
Tao Yan had liked him for a long time, so why did she break up with him so easily?
How can I win her back...?
Xiao Chou was a little embarrassed. But he was very clever.
Why not just push all the blame onto You Suian?
Moreover, this whole thing started because of her. Besides, her relationship with Tao Yan was never that great to begin with; how bad could it really be?

You Suian could sense that Tao Yan was actually caught in a strange dilemma; she wasn't exactly resolute to begin with.
If Xiao Chou makes another show of trying to appease him, it will probably still be quite effective.
However, she occasionally noticed that Tao Yan's gaze was somewhat strange and complicated, which puzzled You Suian. Although she didn't know why Tao Yan was looking at her like that, it didn't matter, and You Suian quickly put the matter out of her mind.
Fortunately, Xiao Chou and Tao Yan never bothered her again after that, and their relationship seemed to have stabilized.
