Chapter 19 Jiu Jiu

Chapter 19 Jiu Jiu

Yunyun couldn't bear to part with Ren Yanyu's kitten, and she slept with the kitten every day before leaving.

“If Yunyun likes it, we can keep one at home too,” Ruan Mianmian asked, sitting down next to her on the tatami mat, seeing that she was always holding her cat.

Ren Yunyou shook his head.

"I haven't decided yet."

“My mother told me that raising a kitten is not a simple thing.”

"Raising a kitten is like my mom raising me. I want to wait until I'm a little older before I get one."

"I'm too young to take care of it."

The little black cat in her arms meowed, as if in agreement.

"Can we take the kitten with us when we go out later?"

"Okay, but we need to ask Auntie first."

“I asked her, and she said that if Mom agrees, we can take the kitten out to play.”

"Mommy, Mommy! Can I?" Ruan Mianmian turned her head and asked Ren Yi.

“Okay.” Renyi leaned back on the sofa, looking at the two of them with a smile.

Ren Yanyu and Li Xuanyin went to work, and the two of them took Ren Yunyou out for fun.

For adults, those tourist attractions may be commonplace, but for children, everything unknown is new and exciting.

Because they were traveling with their kitten, they rented a car for convenience.

Of the three of them, only Ren had a driver's license.

She only went to learn to drive because getting a driver's license in college could earn her extra credits.

"The last time I drove was during the Chinese New Year. My uncle got drunk, and I drove his car to take my aunt's family home..." Ren checked the car's condition and got into the driver's seat to adjust it.

"It's okay, Ayi is the only one here who can drive."

"I believe in my mother!"

Ruan Mianmian and Ren Yunyou got into the car, fastened their seatbelts, and sat properly.

The weather was clear and sunny today, and there weren't many tourists.

They first went to the famous ancient building complex on the outskirts of the city. Ren Yunyou held the kitten in his arms and looked around curiously.

"I've only ever seen these things in books and on TV..." She pulled her mother along as they climbed the tallest tower, exclaiming in amazement, "Wow..."

“Magnificent.” With a casual pat on the shoulder, the Chinese teacher immediately came online.

Ruan Mianmian was behind them, capturing this moment with her camera.

The kitten ran out of Ren Yunyou's arms, tugged at Ruan Mianmian to put down the camera, and then tugged at her to come over and stand with the two of them.

It's just a camera; of course, a clever kitten will know how to use it.

When the three weren't looking, it used the tip of its tail to press the shutter, taking a heartwarming photo for them.

They also went to an amusement park together, which was pet-friendly, and the kitten went in with them.

"I want to go to the haunted house, Mom." Yunyun grabbed Renyi's hand and started to walk inside.

He glanced at Ruan Mianmian with pleading eyes.

"Mommy will go with you." Ruan Mianmian took Yunyun's other little hand, and the two skipped and hopped inside.

The gatekeeper said the whole process took almost an hour, and I could freely hold the kitten and walk around the area.

The kitten on the Ferris wheel meowed and wanted to go on.

It shouldn't be scary, right...?

There weren't many people in line, and the person and the cat quickly got into the sedan chair.

The kitten was lying on the glass, looking out the window.

Renyi glanced out the window, then immediately closed his eyes.

Now that's settled, Renyi stopped wandering around and went straight to the ice cream shop to buy some delicious drinks and waited patiently for the two of them to come out.

Ren Yunyou was very happy. It was her first time visiting such a large amusement park, and she had her mother and mom with her. The little girl seemed to have inexhaustible energy and wanted to try out all the rides in the park.

For the more gentle activities, I would accompany her at will; for the rest, Ruan Mianmian would go with her.

The cat photographer thoughtfully used the same trick again to preserve the precious memories.

The next few days were the same; the family of three visited all the worthwhile places in City A and even watched the recently released animated film with Yunyun.

The holiday is coming to an end, and farewell is quietly approaching.

On the day they returned, Ren Yanyu drove them to the airport, and Ren Yunyou, holding the kitten, tearfully said goodbye.

"Auntie, remember to bring the kitten home next time you go home."

"Okay! Pinky promise." Ren Yanyu extended her little finger and made a promise with Yunyun.

The kitten also wiped away her tears with its paws.

After Ren Yunyou left, he looked back every few steps, and when he was almost inside the gate, he ran back to kiss the two kittens.

Ruan Mianmian leaned on the luggage cart, her face full of satisfaction.

Turning my head, I saw Renyi recording a video on his phone.

Tears are very precious.

"It's good to be able to cry, to know how to accept your emotions," Renyi said softly.

When Ruan Mianmian was not at home, Ren Yunyou clearly missed her, but he rarely mentioned it to Ren Yi.

Every time her mother had to leave her at her maternal grandmother's house for work, she never complained and just waited obediently for her mother to pick her up.

She doesn't need to be so sensible at such a young age.

At the same age, little Renyi also wanted to cry countless times, but she stopped crying when she remembered her mother saying, "Nobody likes a child who cries."

Crying is bad.

Is crying bad?

This is not actually a suitable thing to judge as good or bad.

Just as eating chili peppers makes us feel spicy, eating sugar makes us feel sweet, and eating salt makes us feel salty, tears are also a person's emotional response to the world.

Just wait until you don't want to cry anymore.

Ren Yunyou returned the kitten to Ren Yanyu once again, then ran back to Ren Yi and Ruan Mianmian. Ren Yi squatted down and used a small fan to blow on her sweat-dampened hair.

"If you can't bear to part with the kitten, we can wait a bit before we leave."

The little girl shook her head, took the wet wipe her tears from her mother.

"Don't you really want to play with the kitten a little longer?"

"I'm afraid I'll miss my flight." Ren Yunyou's voice was nasal as he forced himself to pull his mother forward.

“There’s still a long time before boarding,” Renyi said with a smile, trying to comfort her. “Mom will call you when it’s time.”

"Look, the kitten is wagging its tail at you."

"It's okay to be late once in a while."

"Yunyun is still a child, so there's no need to worry so much."

"Mommy is here."

"Mommy and Mommy are here waiting for you." Ruan Mianmian helped Ren Yunyou tie up his loose hair again.

"Go."
