Kneel Three Times and Bow Nine Times to Master

Kneel Three Times and Bow Nine Times to Master

When Mr. Zhuang joined Sanhua Pharmaceutical, the first thing he did with Shen Roujiao was to deal with the complicated procedures for importing equipment. The two automated production lines of oral liquid were imported from Hong Kong through a special channel. Just for the foreign exchange source review alone, the two of them ran around a lot and treated countless guests to meals.

It's difficult to do and it's embarrassing.

We patiently handled things one by one. By the time the two production lines were put into operation in Yunnan and Yunnan, it was already November, and there were only three months left until the Lunar New Year of 1996.

It took more than a month to debug the machine and produce samples. In the self-test phase of Sanhua Pharmaceutical Factory, all indicators of the oral liquid were far above the standard. With the Sanhua oral liquid sample, more complete approval materials, and the application for utility model patent and appearance patent, Shen Roujiao returned to Beijing again.

Since we were familiar with the process the second time around, the approval process for oral liquid was faster than that for pharmaceutical products. We would probably get the production approval in April of the following year, but the patent application would take at least half a year, which means that the product would not be able to go on the production line until October of the following year.

On the other hand, the research team did not make as smooth a progress as expected during the clinical trial phase of Yu Lu Su. The patients' conditions were complex and varied. Some also suffered from other diseases. Some were seriously ill, extremely weak, and sensitive to drugs.

Some patients experienced various discomfort symptoms after using Yu Lu Su. The entire research team felt unprecedented pressure, but no one backed down. They studied each patient's case in depth, carefully observed the changes in symptoms, and combined Western medicine to try to find the root cause of the problem.

As the research progressed, the scientific research team gradually adjusted the dosage of Yu Lu Su based on the cases of different patients, and cleverly combined it with other Chinese medicines. After a period of continuous exploration and improvement, the treatment plan was gradually perfected.

More and more patients are being cured thanks to the new treatment plan. The medication time, which used to be as long as half a year or even a year, has been greatly shortened. Depending on the different tuberculosis bacteria, the medication time has been shortened to one month.

Just when Yu Lu Su was about to see the light of day, at an internal medical meeting, the research team's research results were questioned by Western medicine experts. Some Western medicine experts expressed doubts about the extracts from traditional Chinese medicine, and they believed that the therapeutic effects of Yu Lu Su lacked sufficient rigorous scientific verification.

Science is about accepting and questioning. Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine have always been in fierce conflict.

Faced with doubts, the entire research team bravely took up the challenge. They actively cooperated with Western medicine experts and conducted large-scale double-blind controlled trials in hospitals in various regions.

The research team faced many difficulties during the rigorous trial process. The collection and analysis of experimental data was tedious and complicated, and every detail could not be wrong. Patient management and communication also required a lot of effort to ensure that they could receive treatment strictly in accordance with the trial requirements.

Throughout the New Year, Chen Zhenhua was so busy that he didn't go home. Shen Roujiao and Zhou Huaiyue brought Zhou's father to Nanshan Village to celebrate the New Year with Shen's parents.

Zhou Chuzhuo, who returned to Nanshan Village, was surrounded by fellow villagers. During the years he was away, he had been donating money to the village, donating money for children's education, building schools and roads. With Zhou Chuzhuo's help, a child in the village was admitted to university last year, and two other children were admitted to key high schools in the provincial capital and are working hard for their college dreams.

The village chief tightly held Zhou Chuzhuo's hand and was so excited that he couldn't utter a word for a long time. He had so much to say thanks to, so much that words couldn't express it. Only his trembling hands expressed the unspeakable emotion.

I will always remember your care.

Zhou Chuzhuo has never forgotten every blade of grass and every tree in Nanshan Village. In that special era, he was trampled into the soil and lived like rotten mud, but he regained his dignity in Nanshan Village and lived like a human being.

When he came back, he saw the newly built classrooms and playgrounds, the pitted dirt road that had been repaired into an asphalt road surface, the eggs with red dots in the villagers' baskets, and the children stuffing candies into Zhou Huaiyue's hands. Everything had changed, yet it seemed the same...

Years ago, Lingxi received a call from Shen Roujiao, and she returned to Nanshan Village with the little blind man. Qin Ziqiao was an unfortunate and lucky child. His greatest luck was meeting the courageous and unyielding Lingxi.

Lingxi was kindhearted and wanted to help the little blind boy regain his sight. She learned eye massage from a Taoist doctor at Changshou Temple and massaged the little blind boy every day, and he regained 0.1 vision.

After a consultation with experts, the blind boy can try to restore his vision through corneal transplantation.

His brother Qin Zilin was so happy that he went crazy. Qin Ziqiao had been waiting for a suitable cornea. Lingxi still gave him acupuncture and massage every day and took him wherever he went.

One day, Qin Ziqiao touched her brother's gunshot wound and asked, "Brother, weren't you scared at that time? What if the bullet went off the mark and hit me in the middle? Don't you think about me?"

Qin Zilin stroked the little blind man's head and said with a deliberately evil smile: "Didn't you find someone to take care of you? You follow Lingxi every day. Don't think I don't know that you like him."

"I like her because she gave me my eyes. We agreed that she gave me my eyes and I would follow her everywhere and be her follower. It's not the kind of love you think."

These two innocent children were sincere to each other, just as they had promised, and stayed together for their whole lives.

After Qin Zilin had his cornea transplanted and his vision restored, he became a disciple of Taoist Master Qingxu and followed Lingxi all his life, devoting himself to the research and inheritance of ancient Taoist medical books. He traveled all over Kyushu and compiled more than 200 Taoist medical prescriptions, five of which were developed into medicines through clinical practice and successfully launched on the market.

Through their own efforts, Lingxi and Qin Ziqiao dug deep into the ancient Taoist medical culture, constantly absorbed nutrients, and grew into towering trees.

The two are both teachers and friends, and are soul mates who cherish each other. They are not mates but better than mates.

The relationship between people is very strange. Shen Roujiao never understood the relationship between Lingxi and Qin Ziqiao. It was not until she was old that she suddenly realized that Lingxi was a wise person.

She has love but no mercy in her heart.

Love is more real than affection, and it will not change with the changes in affection. Affection is desire, it is control, and it is an emotion that will lead to resentment when it cannot be obtained.

Everyone has a gap in their heart that needs to be filled.

Lingxi used love to fill the gap. If she added affection, it would be too much and would overflow, giving rise to many chaotic emotions.

Lingxi and Qin Zilin have pure and true intentions and love each other deeply.

......

The three disciples of Master Ciyun finally appeared in front of her tomb at the same time.

In the cold winter, the originally bright sky was swallowed by thick dark clouds, which pressed heavily over the snowfield. The biting cold wind was like a sharp arrow, piercing through the cotton clothes with bone-chilling coldness, and the vast and cold land was shrouded by the majesty of winter.

Thick snow covered Ciyun's tombstone. Shen Roujiao wiped off the snow with her sleeves. When the master passed away, Shen Roujiao was busy with Sanhua Weitai. In order not to affect the work of his apprentice, Ciyun left a will: When the medicine is successfully developed, come to see me again.

This wait lasted for five years. Without getting the sample of Sanhua Oral Liquid, Shen Roujiao would not have the face to see the master.

The two characters "Ciyun" on the tombstone were written by the master herself, with a sense of indifference and unrestrainedness in her strokes, which is a portrayal of her lifelong practice; the couplets on both sides, the top couplet reads "Follow the Tao and understand the principles of heaven and earth", the bottom couplet reads "Govern by doing nothing and keep your heart clear", and the horizontal scroll reads "The heart of Tao lasts forever".

Shen Roujiao lit three incense sticks, raised her hands respectfully above her head, and inserted them in front of the tombstone. She knelt on the ground and kowtowed three times in a row. She took out a sample of the oral liquid from her cotton-padded jacket pocket, opened it, and sprinkled it in front of the master's tombstone, one stick after another, a total of nine sticks.

"Grand Master, I didn't let you down. I'm here to see you." She took out another one, brushed aside the snow in front of the tombstone, dug the soil underneath with her hands again and again, and buried the Sanhua oral liquid in front of Ciyun's tombstone. Shen Roujiao's fingers were frozen red, and the gaps between her nails were covered with dirt. She wiped them on her clothes, and then spoke again, her voice choked with sobs, "Grand Master, look, I made it. I didn't let you down." The bitterness along the way was now sweetly endured. It was the selflessness of the Grand Master that made Sanhua Pharmaceutical what it is today.

So many patients and families have benefited from this, the merits are immeasurable.

Ciyun only spent a few short days with his third disciple, but he gave her the secret recipe he had studied throughout his life as a doctor. He personally gave Shen Roujiao wings, allowing her to take off on the spot and fly to a great distance.

His eyes, blurred by tears, lingered on the tombstone. "Master, your prescriptions are very good and have cured millions of patients. They all say that you are a god, a Taoist doctor."

Shen Roujiao's knees were soaked by the snow. Lingxi felt sorry for her and wanted to help her up, but Shen Roujiao just knelt and refused to get up. She continued, "Grand Master, I have another good news for you. Huaiyue and his team have found a name for the nameless grass, called Jade Dew. Many top experts are using it to treat tuberculosis. Jade Dew is a special medicine for treating tuberculosis. That little grass has become a treasure because of you..."

That day, she knelt in front of the tomb for an hour, like a storyteller, talking and talking, and the master listened all the time. The master and disciple, one was on earth, and the other was in heaven.

The moment Shen Roujiao stood up, a ray of light passed through the clouds and covered her tomb and that of her master. Seeing this, Jingxuan behind her pulled Lingxi into the light. The three disciples simultaneously performed the highest Taoist kneeling ceremony, three kneelings and nine kowtows, to Master Ciyun.

Three people knelt three times and kowtowed three times each time. After the ceremony, the light disappeared instantly.

No one can explain it, and there is no need to explain it.

Tao follows nature, everything can happen, and everything that happens must have cause and effect. The so-called cause and effect is just a law followed by all things in the world. "Life and death" is the circulation and transformation of energy in nature. Master Ciyun may turn into wind, light, or suspended dust. She has always been there, at the moment she is remembered.

On the way back to Yuji Temple, Shen Roujiao and Lingxi held Jingxuan's arms on each side, and the three of them walked and talked and laughed all the way. The snow under their feet made a crunching sound and was carried far away by the wind.

They didn't know that the light appeared again amid the laughter of the three people, shining on a group of footprints on the snow, like a fine silver light, flickering.
