Zhao Yunxiang glanced at Wang Fang and said, "Wang Fang, your family has disappointed me greatly."
After saying this, she went home with her parents. Wang Fang looked at the three people in front of her, crying, and shouted in anguish, "It's all your fault! Yunxiang and I are clearly in love, why can't you bear to see me happy! I hate you!"
Wang Dong grabbed Wang Fang and said disappointedly, "I think you've lost your mind. You've hit a brick wall and still won't give up. You're determined to fight your way out, aren't you!"
Wang Fang broke free from him and shouted, "You all don't understand at all. I will definitely marry Yunxiang in this lifetime!" Then she ran away.
Wang Dong shouted, "If you're so capable, then don't come home! Get out of here and die out there!"
The three of them walked back angrily. They had lived a peaceful life with Li Qiuxiang for the past two years. Although they had suffered some mistreatment, Li Qiuxiang had taken care of everything, including things at home, outside, and at work.
He was a little unaccustomed to suddenly running into Wang Fang again today.
When they arrived at the door, Wang Dong said, "Grandma, she's ruined. Don't worry about her anymore. Just pretend she never existed." Then he left.
Mother Qi covered her mouth, afraid that she would cry out, and turned to run back to her room.
Qi Zhifang opened her mouth, but Wang Dong didn't even look at her and turned to go home. She said to herself, "These children are a debt I owe. I gave birth to them, raised them, and now they've become enemies." As she walked back, she was greeted with a surprise when she got home.
Lin Huaihua stood at the door with a few people. Even though it had been a long time since they last met and Lin Huaihua had aged a lot, Qi Zhifang still recognized her at a glance, and of course, the other person also recognized her.
How fresh! A green sweater, a maroon cotton-padded jacket, a red scarf, black pants, and little leather shoes—this outfit was something even my aunt's family wouldn't dare wear.
Lin Huaihua suppressed her anger and turned her head to the side, feeling even more hatred for that heartless and ungrateful man she had lived with for more than twenty years.
The neighborhood director said, "Qi Zhifang, this house belongs to Lin Huaihua's father-in-law. Now that they've come to take the house, you'd better pack your things and vacate it quickly."
Qi Zhifang frowned slightly. "This is a place my friend let me stay. He didn't say I had to move out, so I'm definitely not moving!"
"Your unreasonable demands won't work; they have the property deed. Move out now."
"Pah! You think this is your home after staying here for a few days? Get out of here right now, this is my son's grandfather's house." Lin Huaihua was furious the moment she saw Qi Zhifang. They were clearly a pair of adulterers, and they called themselves friends, how disgusting.
Qi Zhifang said coldly, "Are you being unreasonable? You're both divorced. This is Brother Xiao's house. You're no longer his wife, yet you're trying to take his house!"
Lin Huaihua's eyes were red with anger. "This isn't Xiao Hu's house either." Lin Huaihua had only recently learned that Qi Zhifang had acted like a hooligan again and had been fired from the machinery factory. Xiao Hu had given this vixen the house where her child's grandfather lived and even used his connections to get her a job. Thinking back to the past two years when she had no job and her son had to go to the countryside, she felt incredibly resentful. If Xiao Hu were here, she would kill that heartless man.
Qi Zhifang roared, "Nonsense! You're already divorced. An ex-wife isn't a wife."
Lin Huaihua sneered, "At least an ex-wife was still a wife before. What about you? What are you! A worthless piece of trash with no legitimate status!"
The neighborhood director said impatiently, "They have a property deed and a will. You'd better move out right away, or I'll call the police."
After everyone left, Qi Zhifang went back to her room, packed her things, and went to find Wang Dong while crying.
Wang Dong sighed and borrowed a tricycle from Grandpa Li to take her to Qi's mother's place. Qi's mother lived in the main room, which had only one bed. How three people would sleep in it was no longer Wang Dong's concern.
