Chapter 4 The Three Legendary Disciples

Salton's troops were marching on this road, when suddenly, a traveler appeared on the roadside. The appearance of travelers on the roadside was not a very uncommon thing on the continent.

But Thortonjar noticed that the traveler seemed to have come from the Kingdom of Swadia. Normally, when a war begins, both countries will block their borders to prevent spies.

Now that the war has just begun, it is normal for some missed guys to cross the border. Of course, they may also be spies from the enemy country.

So Saltonjar signaled his troops to stop.

He rode his horse in front of the traveler. The traveler looked very old, with some wrinkles on his face and a graying beard. He looked like he was about to enter old age. At this time, he was wearing a hood and an old black suit. Although it looked old, it was very clean.

"Are you from the Kingdom of Swadia?" asked Salton Yar.

"Yes, sir. You are holding a noble flag. I believe you are a noble heading to the front line. Don't worry, sir. Although I came from the Swadia Kingdom, I am definitely not a spy. I am just a bard." said the traveler who called himself a bard. He knew what these nobles were thinking.

"Bard? Since you are not a spy, then tell me something about the Kingdom of Swadia." Salton did not have enough evidence to prove that this person was a spy, so he planned to ask about the situation in the Kingdom of Swadia.

"Then I wonder what kind of things you want to know, sir?" asked the somewhat old bard.

"Where is the army of the Kingdom of Swadia now?" This is the question that Salton Jarl wants to know most.

"Everyone on the continent knows about this, sir. The army of the Kingdom of Swadia is attacking the Kingdom of Rhodok in the south."

Thordonjar was obviously not satisfied with this answer. He wanted to know more about what he didn't know. For example, he certainly knew about the Swadia Kingdom's southern expedition. If it weren't for Swadia's southern expedition, their country would not have started to attack Swadia. "Don't you know some unknown things?"

"Sir, I am just an ordinary civilian. How could I know the specific information about the army of the Kingdom of Swadia?" A trace of embarrassment appeared on the bard's face.

Thordenjar thought about it and thought so, after all, he was a civilian. "So what do the civilians of the Kingdom of Swadia think about this war? Do they think they can win this war?"

"From what I have seen, most people I have met in the Kingdom of Swadia believe that this country cannot win this war. Some people have even begun to surrender, but there are still a large number of people who want to resist. After all, this is their country's territory, and they certainly won't give it to others so easily." The bard said seriously. This was indeed what he had seen.

"Really?" Thordenjar said to himself. He didn't like fighting, which was why he was late. If he was a warmonger, he would have actively responded to King Ragnar's call.

"Resistance is useless. Our army will crush the Kingdom of Swadia to the ground." Soltonyar seemed to be talking to himself.

"My Lord, please forgive me for being frank."

"Just say it! It's okay." Salton Yar wanted to see what this guy wanted to say?

"From my point of view, although the Kingdom of Swadia will lose a few castles, it is probably impossible to flatten the entire Kingdom of Swadia."

"Oh? Then I really want to know why you said that?" When the bard said this, the soldiers around him wanted to beat this old man up. Who wants to hear that their country can't defeat Swadia? Because of Thorton Jarl, they could only stare at him.

Fortunately, the person standing in front of the bard was Thorden Yar. If it were anyone else, they might have found a crime to kill him immediately.

Saltonjar is a kind man.

"My Lord, do you know Hiscock?"

"Hiscock?" Saltonjar began to search for this name in his mind.

"That's the one called a hero by Swadia." Salton's adjutant Falk reminded his lord.

Salton Jarl was not interested in war. He was the eldest son in the family, so he had to lead the army. After hearing what Falk said, Salton remembered the reputation of this man. He was no longer a man of this era. Although he had a brilliant record in the past, he was now forgotten. What did this man who had passed away have to do with this war?

"Hiscock was once a hero of the Kingdom of Swadia. He saved the Kingdom of Swadia from the danger of destruction." The bard began to talk about this piece of history.

Salton Jarre knew this history.

The four nations of Nord, Vaegir, Rhodok and Khergit kept invading the territory of Swadia. But a hero appeared in Swadia. It was because of him that the fate of Swadia's destruction was prevented.

His name is Hiscock.

A powerful knight and an excellent commander.

"He is dead. Are there still people like him in the Kingdom of Swadia now?" Salton said with a doubtful tone.

"Yes, not only yes, but there are three." The bard's words surprised everyone present.

"You are lying!" Salton thought this guy was a lunatic. One Hiscock was powerful enough, but now there are three of them. How is this possible?

"My lord, please allow me to finish what I want to say." The bard said slowly.

"Okay, explain yourself to me clearly." There was a sense of nervousness in Salton's tone. He was worried that if something like this really happened, these three people would destroy the army of the Nord Kingdom.

"Although Hiscock is dead, he still has three disciples. The strength of these three disciples is unprecedentedly powerful."

"Who are these three?" Salton knew that this was important news. He had to find out quickly and then report it to King Ragnar.

"These three disciples are Hosbens, O'Donnell, and Willis."
