不过计划赶不上变化，让马尔塔斯意想不到的事情就此发生，伏尔德拉特波耶以及芬恩和乔尔斯还有数名维吉亚士兵突然出现在他的面前。
没错，因为乔尔斯的一句话，所以说伏尔德拉特波耶才找到了这里。
“你在这里干什么？现在你是这一场战争的最高指挥官，你应该在城墙上面指挥维吉亚士兵，却没有想到在这里守着城门到底要干什么？”

乔尔斯当机立断，做出了一个让在场所有人都感到吃惊的举动。他把自己的长剑给拔了出来，那是一把骑士剑，是一名骑士的标准配备，这一把剑并不是什么神兵利刃，但是他依然代表着乔尔斯的决心。突然之间乔尔斯就把自己的骑士剑刺向了马尔塔斯。
马尔塔斯好歹也是一名武艺高强的战士，怎么可能会被这普普通通的一次攻击便被夺去了性命呢？
