“I’ve always borrowed your notes. I bought some cheap things, you can take them back with you to share with your family next week.”
In the end, he let it go.
Without giving Lin Yuxi time to refuse, Sang Yelin sat back down in his seat. As he passed by Lin Yuxi, he could still smell the faint fragrance of gardenias.
"It would have been so much better if we had done this sooner."
After Sang Yelin sat down, his deskmate whispered something in his ear.
This time, he responded.
"I see."
Medical research requires an experiment, and the teacher arranged groups of five, with two students in each group.
Lin Yuxi and Sang Yelin are in the same group.
The professor explained different professional terms on the podium, and Lin Yuxi listened very carefully, taking notes on almost every single one in her notebook.
"Yuxi, did you understand what Professor Zhang talked about today?"
The student next to her pushed her notebook over; she didn't quite understand one of the points on it.
Lin Yuxi switched to a pencil and sketched it out on the draft paper. In no time, an abs were drawn on the draft paper. Pei Danxue blushed when she saw it. Although it was just a pencil drawing, she didn't know why Lin Yuxi's human figure drawing was so impactful.
What a coincidence.
Sang Yelin had already packed his things and was about to pass by them when Pei Danxue quickly covered the paper, as if it were some kind of secret that couldn't be revealed.
"Yu Xi, let's go eat." Pei Danxue hooked her arm around Lin Yu Xi's, crumpled the paper, and put it in her drawer, weighing it down with several books.
She has never been in a relationship, but she can't help blushing whenever she talks about human anatomy.
"Tell me in detail later, don't draw anymore."
The professor was lecturing on acupuncture diagrams of male genital organs. Throughout the entire course, Pei Danxue wished she could bury her head under the table and not dare to look up at all.
"From now on, patients will all call you Dr. Pei. If you're so shy, how will you perform acupuncture on patients?" Lin Yuxi teased. They were studying both traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and when faced with diagrams of human anatomy, she already knew a great deal just by drawing them on Gu Chen's body.
Pei Danxue's face flushed instantly, and she whispered in her ear, "I've never had a boyfriend. Maybe it'll be fine once I do."
"There are plenty of handsome guys in medical school, but none of them are to your liking?" Lin Yuxi raised an eyebrow. She was carrying a water bottle filled with ice water in her left hand. The ice cubes she had filled it with that morning had melted by now, but it was still ice-cold to drink.
Pei Danxue sighed, "Everyone says you shouldn't date someone in the same industry, otherwise you'll be so busy you won't even have a chance to meet. So my parents are arranging blind dates for me. This weekend is the blind date day, and I've been counting down the days. How about you lend me Siyan? If I don't like him, I'll have him rush out and call me 'Mom,' what do you say?"
Lin Yuxi directly rejected Pei Danxue's wildly imaginative ideas.
