Her voice was full of surprise.
Gu Chen's gaze fell on her face, then on her body. Although she was covered in blood, she seemed to be in good spirits and was probably not injured.
So the hesitant look in her eyes on the yellow earth slope that morning meant she wanted to go deep into the back mountain.
