Why do we need exam papers in Chapter 100? (1/2)

Lin Yuxi returned home and sat on the sofa. The child was on her lap. She poked his fair little face with her hand. It was so soft.

"That person just now wanted to invite you to work for them, right?" Jiang Shufen asked.

Lin Yuxi nodded. "Yes."

“Go if you want to, but you should discuss this with Gu Chen and see what he says,” Jiang Shufen said casually. “You two are married now, so discuss everything, big or small, to avoid arguing in the future.”

"I know."

At noon, Gu Chen ran back, covered in sweat. His bicycle was parked in the yard, with a bag hanging from the handlebars, containing several pieces of fruit.

“This was brought by my comrade-in-arms. You can try it. There’s also a toy I made myself. See if the child likes it.” Gu Chen placed the rattle in front of the child and shook it. The child followed the rattle with his gaze.

Lin Yuxi, holding the child's little hand, suddenly said, "Staying at home is too boring, I'm going to go to work."

Gu Chen thought about it and agreed, saying, "It's up to you. If you're too tired, don't go. What do you want to do? I'll go ask for you."

“No need. It’s that guy I met at the library. He asked me to come work for him. If I agree, we can discuss the details in person.” Lin Yuxi said, while playing with the child, only to find that the child’s eyelids were starting to droop.

"The child is ready to sleep, so put him in bed and let him sleep by himself."

Gu Chen took the child, placed him in the crib, and covered him with a blanket.

The child slept soundly in bed, without crying or fussing at all.

Lin Yuxi and the other two sat down at the dining table for a meal and immediately decided to call Gao Kangcheng back as soon as possible.

"Don't overwork yourself. You just gave birth, so please don't overexert yourself. If you don't want to go, then don't go," Jiang Shufen advised.

Lin Yuxi nodded. "Okay, I understand, Mom."

After she finished eating, Gu Chen had already gone to training. She wandered out and prepared to call Gao Kangcheng.

Gao Kangcheng naturally welcomed her joining the company, and the two decided to meet at their workplace.

Three days later.

A black sedan pulled up right on time at the entrance of the residential compound.

Gao Kangcheng glanced at his watch; it was exactly eight o'clock. Lin Yuxi was already waiting at the entrance of the family compound. She got into the back seat.

The vehicle drove further and further away from the city center and bustling areas.

“Our workplace has strict regulations and requires confidentiality, so a confidentiality agreement needs to be signed before you officially start working.” Gao Kangcheng sat down next to her, smiling as he handed her a document: “This is the confidentiality agreement, take a look.”

She looked down and flipped through the agreement, where several clauses mentioned "data security and confidentiality."

Gao Kangcheng pointed to the tall building and said, "Although the work is strict and we only have to sign a confidentiality agreement, the benefits are excellent. Meals are provided, and the salary and benefits are definitely not low. There will be a government car to pick us up and drop us off every day."

Lin Yuxi noticed tall barbed wire fences on both sides of the road. Inside the fences was a gray-white building, and security guards were checking the area.

“We’ve been robbed here several times before. People have been arrested for selling the stuff inside and illegally trading it. That’s why we’ve put up so many iron fences,” Gao Kangcheng said slowly. “We’re here. This is the place.”
