Chapter 50 I Will Help You
Fu Zheng asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"What would you do?"
"Everything."
"Then I'll have some egg fried rice with some corn, some ham, and some lettuce."
"Okay. I'll go buy the ingredients." Fu Zheng took out his phone and put it on the table. "My phone is here. If Auntie calls, you can answer it. I'll use your phone to pay."
"Um."
Wen Liang looked at him and nodded, but her eyes were empty and lifeless.
She didn't expect Fu Zheng to agree.
Does she have a place in his heart?
As soon as this thought came to mind, Wen Liang threw it away.
Wen Liang, stop being so narcissistic. He doesn't like you at all.
We still want a divorce tomorrow.
She was afraid that if she missed this opportunity, she would never have the courage to bring it up again.
The phone on the table rang.
Wen Liang picked up the phone but couldn't see the caller ID on the screen. She could only see a blurry green screen. She pressed the answer button and a female voice came from the receiver, "A Zheng, have you eaten yet?"
"It's me." Wen Liang said.
"Why are you here?" Chu Siyi asked in surprise, "Where's Ah Zheng?"
"He went to buy groceries."
"He went to buy groceries? Don't you have an aunt at home?"
"Auntie is not here. He went to buy groceries and wants to cook for me."
"Wen Liang, you..." Chu Siyi was furious and sneered, "Don't think you win just because A Zheng cooks for you. You still have to get divorced!"
"Please put away that smug look of yours. We're recording something here." Wen Liang said calmly.
She was not talking nonsense. Fu Zheng was busy with work and often made phone calls. He always had the automatic recording function on to avoid any omissions in his work or loss of evidence.
"You - don't be so proud!" Chu Siyi hung up the phone angrily.
Wen Liang smiled and put the phone back on the table.
It feels so good to make people angry.
After a while, another call came. This time it was my aunt, asking about Wen Liang's new ward.
Wen Liang reported it, and within a few minutes, the aunt came. She showed concern for Wen Liang, and only after she knew that Wen Liang was fine did she feel relieved and took out all the things she had brought and sorted them out.
"Ma'am, have you eaten yet? How about I go get you something to eat?"
"No need, A Zheng went to buy it."
"It's almost eight o'clock. Did the gentleman say whether he will stay in the hospital or go home tonight?"
"No."
"Ask him when we're having dinner."
Fu Zheng is back.
The aunt came forward to help take the things from Fu Zheng's hand. She originally thought that Fu Zheng bought a box lunch, but when she opened the package, she found that he bought a large box of white rice, as well as ham, corn cobs, and lettuce.
In addition, there are some kitchen utensils, such as knives, bowls, chopsticks, seasonings, etc.
"Sir, what are you buying these for?"
"My wife wants to eat the fried rice I made."
Fu Zheng picked up a knife and began to unwrap the seasoning. "Sir, please stop joking. Let me do it. You can go and rest and talk to your wife."
"You don't have to, I can."
"But... okay." Auntie gave it to him.
Fu Zheng handled the ingredients skillfully, and soon the fried rice was ready.
He first filled a bowl for Wen Liang and handed it over. "I'm ready. How about trying it?"
The aunt took the bowl and said, "Madam, let me feed you."
I didn’t expect that my husband could cook like this for the first time. He is really talented.
"No need. I can do it myself. Put it on the table. Give me the spoon."
Wen Liang scooped a spoonful of egg fried rice from the bowl, blew on it, and took a bite.
"Well, it's delicious. Thank you Fu Zheng." Wen Liang smiled at Fu Zheng. She thought she was looking at Fu Zheng's eyes, but actually she was looking at Fu Zheng's chin from her angle.
"As long as you like it."
"I never thought Mr. Fu was so talented. He cooked well for the first time. If he practices hard, he will definitely be a good cook." said the aunt.
Wen Liang smiled but said nothing.
After Wen Liang finished his meal, his aunt washed the dishes.
It was already past nine o'clock. Perhaps because Wen Liang was injured, she felt a little dispirited and wanted to rest.
"Sir, please go home. I'm here with your wife. Please come back to see her tomorrow."
Fu Zheng nodded, "Aliang, I'll come see you tomorrow."
"Okay." Fu Zheng picked up his coat from the sofa and left.
"etc."
Fu Zheng stopped and looked at Wen Liang, "Is there anything else?"
"When you come tomorrow, don't forget to bring your information, and bring mine as well."
Fu Zheng was stunned for a moment and frowned, "Wen Liang, there's no rush for divorce. It's better to recover first. You can't see clearly and you can't fill out the form."
Wen Liang moved his lips: "I can't see clearly, just read it to me."
Blurred doesn't mean completely blind.
"The divorce agreement has already been signed. What's wrong with waiting a few days until your eyes recover before getting the divorce certificate? Why are you so anxious to get a divorce?"
Wen Liang's breathing stagnated, "Just treat me as who I am."
Fu Zheng's face froze.
My aunt originally thought that Fu Zheng was just like other men, with a red flag flying at home and colorful flags flying outside. It turned out that he and Wen Liang had already agreed to divorce.
She watched the young couple stumbling along the way, but she never expected that they would end up getting divorced so soon.
The wife picked up her husband early last night. After the husband learned that his wife had been in a car accident, he immediately rushed to the hospital from home and even cooked for her.
The two of them don't look like they have no feelings for each other, so why did it come to the point of divorce?
My aunt advised, "Madam, the Civil Affairs Bureau is right there, and you won't be running away. You should go later when you're better. Why rush?"
Wen Liang shook his head. "We agreed to go tomorrow, so let's go tomorrow. Besides, my eyesight is just a little blurry, so I won't be delayed in going to the Civil Affairs Bureau."
"Mrs……"
"Don't bother trying to persuade her anymore. Since she doesn't value her own body, what's the point of trying to persuade her?"
Fu Zheng said coldly: "Okay, since you have decided, then I will fulfill your wish. Tomorrow I will bring the documents and take you to the Civil Affairs Bureau to go through the divorce procedures."
"good."
Fu Zheng looked at Wen Liang's calm expression, and inexplicable anger rose in his heart, and he left with a flick of his sleeves.
The door slammed shut with a bang.
Auntie looked at Fu Zheng's back as he left and sighed, "Madam, the husband is angry."
"If he's angry, then let him be angry. I don't know what he's angry about, but wouldn't divorcing him just give him what he wants?"
"Madam, you haven't been home this afternoon, and your husband is very worried. After learning about your car accident, he immediately drove over and even cooked for you himself. It's obvious that he cares about you very much."
Wen Liang laughed at herself, "See, Auntie, you were fooled by him. Do you think someone can really cook like this on their first time?"
I have to say that Fu Zheng is really a good actor, and she was almost fooled by him again.
Fortunately, she had already seen through him a long time ago and knew that he could not possibly like her and that everything was just an act.
"Madam, what you mean is..."
"He can cook, and he often cooks for his ex-girlfriend. Last week, his ex-girlfriend was sick, and he stayed with her in the hospital all day and all night. Do you still think he treats me well?"
Auntie sighed.
I see.
In the three years since she came to the villa, she has never seen her husband cook.
