Chapter 524 Aunt or Grandmother

Chapter 524 Aunt or Grandmother

Old Wilson carefully introduced his own manor to Fu Shifan. Seeing the longing that inevitably appeared on the little girl's face, he smiled with satisfaction.

He believed that Carol would like Philadelphia when she arrived there.

In Chinese, it means, I am happy here and don't miss my homeland.

Wen Liang watched the grandparents chatting and started playing with his phone.

Thinking of something, Wilson Sr. asked, "Carol, where's your ticket? Grandpa, take a look."

"At uncle's place, what happened?"

Fu Shifan glanced at Fu Zheng, who was sitting opposite him reading a magazine.

"Grandpa wants to see where your seat is," said Wilson Sr.

"First class, row 1, seat A," the little girl remembered clearly, "I specifically picked a window seat when I checked in."

Old Wilson frowned. "Alan was a little late in booking the ticket, and there are no first-class tickets left."

"When Uncle Yang went to book the ticket, there were exactly three seats left in first class."

"Then who's next to you?"

The business class cabin on this flight has two aisles, and the seats are arranged horizontally in a 242 pattern. This means that there is only one seat next to Fu Shifan, facing the aisle.

"My aunt."

"……oh."

Old Wilson looked up at Wen Liang, feeling a little disappointed.

He thought it would be Fu Zheng, so that he could ask Fu Zheng to exchange seats and sit with his dear granddaughter.

Wen Liang, who was standing next to them, overheard their conversation. He glanced up at Old Wilson and immediately understood his thoughts.

He wanted to sit with Fu Shifan.

Their eyes met. Old Wilson saw that Wen Liang understood what he meant and thought she would say something. However, Wen Liang indifferently withdrew her gaze, pretending that she knew nothing and continued to look down at her phone.

Old Wilson: “…”

If they hadn't made eye contact, he wouldn't have thought it was a big deal.

But now, why do I feel so uncomfortable?

The flight was delayed for half an hour.

Fu Shifan couldn't sit still, so he stood up and walked around the waiting hall.

Old Wilson simply stood up and said, "Carol, how about you take Grandpa for a walk outside?"

"good."

Fu Shifan and Fu Zhengwenliang said something, and the old man and the child left.

Fu Zheng watched their backs as they left, then moved to sit next to Wen Liang, holding her hand and continuing to read the magazine.

Within two minutes, a white man appeared in front of Wen Liang, "Miss Wen Liang."

Wen Liang looked up and recognized that it was the secretary who had just come with old Wilson. After old Wilson left, he also followed him out, but now he came back alone, and no one knew what was going on.

Wen Liang asked.

Allen glanced hesitantly at Fu Zheng next to him and said, "Mr. Wilson asked me to ask you if you can exchange seats with him on the plane. His seat is in business class, and he can pay you double the fee."

Wen Liang raised her eyebrows. Just because of this matter, did Old Wilson send someone to ask her, and when he was not around?

Why didn't he ask just now?

Because she is his daughter's rival and he can't bring himself to do that?

This little old man.

Before Wen Liang could say anything, Fu Zheng refused on her behalf, "Go and tell Mr. Wilson that it's not possible. Aliang is pregnant."

The first-class cabin has a large and independent space, which is more comfortable for pregnant women.

The rejection was expected. Allen hadn't thought Wen Liang would agree. He nodded in understanding and said, "Okay, I'll reply to Mr. Wilson right away."

"If he wants to come first class, he might as well ask other passengers."

Alan found old Wilson in the duty-free shop outside the terminal and conveyed Fu Zheng's words to him.

Old Wilson shook his head helplessly.

Okay, forget it.

Not long after, the old man and the child came back.

The old man looked calm.

Wen Liang glanced at him, and just then, Old Wilson subconsciously glanced at her abdomen. Their eyes met, and they quickly looked away, with a hint of tacit understanding in their awkwardness.

Check in and board the plane.

After nearly thirty hours of flight, the plane arrived at Philadelphia International Airport.

It was already night there. Fu Shifan looked out the porthole at the brightly lit Philadelphia below with a look of anticipation.

The Wilson family had already sent a car to wait outside the airport.

The editor-in-chief knew that she would arrive in the evening, so he sent an assistant to pick up Wen Liang at the airport and booked a hotel for her.

Old Wilson originally wanted to let Fu Shifan go home with him directly, but Fu Zheng wanted to accompany Wen Liang to the hotel to settle down first, and then send Fu Shifan there tomorrow.

In the end, I chose the latter.

Old Wilson pursed his lips and glanced at Wen Liang gloomily. He got into the car alone and looked at Fu Shifan reluctantly before getting in. "Carol, you have to come to see grandpa as soon as possible tomorrow. Grandpa will be waiting for you."

"I know, Grandpa, please get in the car!"

After entering the hotel room, Fu Zheng asked Wen Liang and Fu Shifan to rest on the sofa, while he opened Wen Liang's suitcase, took out the daily necessities inside, placed them in convenient places, and hung a few clothes in the closet.

He pushed the empty suitcase into the corner.

Wen Liang didn't sleep well on the plane, so he had a simple midnight snack and then went to rest.

The next morning, the three of them had breakfast together. Wen Liang was picked up by the magazine staff, and Fu Zheng personally sent Fu Shifan to Wilson Manor.

The manor is located in a suburban town, covers a large area and has beautiful scenery.

Having just arrived at a new place, Fu Shifan looked around curiously.

The servants of the manor had received instructions long ago and respectfully invited them to the main building.

Old Wilson did not go to the company today. He and his wife Xie Shu were basking in the sun on the terrace early in the morning, waiting for the arrival of his beloved granddaughter.

Wait and wait.

Old Wilson glanced at his watch from time to time.

Xie Shu remained calm and asked curiously, "Is Carol really that cute? Do you like her so much?"

Old Wilson smiled and said firmly, "Ashu, let me tell you, Carol is a bit like you, both smart and cute. When you meet Carol, you will definitely like her!"

Hearing this, Xie Shu smiled and said, "I don't expect her to be too smart, but I just hope she doesn't end up like Ilia when she was little."

She still remembered that when she was tutoring Ilia to do her homework, she was so angry that she couldn't get it no matter how hard she tried. At that time, she was also wondering why she and old Wilson were both smart, so why did they give birth to such a stupid daughter?

Because of this, the couple never expected Ilia to take on any responsibilities, as long as she was happy.

Who knew this girl would become more and more outrageous.

When Xie Shu learned that Ilia had a five-year-old daughter outside, he almost fainted from anger.

"Just wait and see."

A servant's notification came over the intercom. Old Wilson knew that Fu Zheng and the others had arrived and immediately stood up. "I'll go down and answer it."

He walked downstairs and out of the hall eagerly. He saw Fu Shifan from a distance and his eyes lit up. "Oh yeah, Carol, you're finally here. Come in with grandpa and meet your grandmother."

Old Wilson took Fu Shifan's hand and walked inside.

Fu Zheng followed slowly behind.

As soon as he entered the living room, Fu Shifan saw an elegant lady walking slowly down the stairs, with a gentle and graceful temperament.

As she looked at the lady, the lady was also looking at her curiously.

She has a round head, big eyes, fair skin, and a rosy little mouth. She is as delicate as the Barbie doll in the window.

Fu Shifan tilted her head, her big black eyes blinking, and she asked in a childish voice, "Are you my aunt or my grandmother?"
