"Very good, here is your marriage certificate, please keep it safe."
Wishing you both a long and happy marriage and many children.
As Fu Jingyao walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau, he stared blankly at the red marriage certificate in his hand.
He got married.
Fu Jingyao had never thought about what marriage would be like, or what his wife would be like.
He didn't reject Lin Xi's approach; it might be what people call a ill-fated relationship, a fate sealed at first sight.
Fu Jingyao rubbed his temples, trying to shake off these chaotic thoughts.
Now that you're married, you have to take responsibility.
There was no emotional foundation between them.
From now on, he will treat Lin Xi as his younger sister.
Fu Jingyao moved his lips slightly, "I'm going to the company, where are you going?"
Lin Xi put away her red marriage certificate. "I'm going to set up a stall in the antique street."
Fu Jingyao frowned, took out a black card and gave it to her, "If you need money, just tell me."
Just as Lin Xi's finger touched the card, a loud bang echoed through the sky.
Boom!
Lin Xi instinctively covered her head.
Ugh! Her constitution is so terrible.
Fu Jingyao looked up at the sky. "Why did it suddenly get dark?"
Lin Xi chuckled twice, "The heavens must be having a tiff."
Boom! Boom!!
A thick bolt of lightning flashed by, seemingly as a warning to her.
Lin Xi quickly refused Fu Jingyao, "Put your black card away. I'm not setting up this stall for money, but to guide the masses. This is a rule of our sect."
Waaaaah, the legendary black card, the black card with unlimited spending, I want it so badly...
Fu Jingyao met her longing gaze and asked again, "You really don't want it?"
Lin Xi withdrew her little hand and said firmly, "I don't want it. Money earned by myself is the best."
"Okay." Fu Jingyao took back the card.
Lin Xi has a special identity and her own beliefs and sect rules.
Although he didn't understand, he respected her wishes.
Fu Jingyao opened the car door. "I'll take you there."
"No need." Lin Xi waved her hand. "The antique street is very close to here. I'll walk there."
Fu Jingyao saw her off; she'd be the center of gossip later—how would the master maintain his mystique?
"Wait a minute, Lin Xi."
Fu Jingyao took out his phone. "Let's exchange contact information. Call me when you're done setting up your stall. Grandma said we have to go home for dinner tonight."
Lin Xi nodded. "I'll sweep you, and you sweep me?"
Fu Jingyao: "I'll sweep you."
Lin Xi accepted his friend request, turned and left, saying, "See you tonight."
Fu Jingyao's profile picture is all black, and her nickname is still Fu Jingyao; she doesn't need to change it.
On the other side, Fu Jingyao glanced at Lin Xi's profile picture, which was five oddly shaped little paper figures.
My nickname is: Master Lin, who is good at fortune telling, ghost hunting, and feng shui.
Fu Jingyao chuckled.
Add the note "Master Lin" to Linxi's notes.
