Zhou Junjie put on his mask, and the stench lessened somewhat. After a moment, he asked, "What do we do now?"
Jiang Chi analyzed, "After the explosion, the thumping footsteps disappeared, so the monster must have been scared away."
He looked at the toilet and said, "After the explosion, a ray of white light appeared above the toilet."
Zhou Junjie looked around. "Really? I can't see it."
Jiang Chi ignored him and continued, "The white light comes from the outside, which means that a small hole has been torn in the alternate dimension, and the sound of the explosion can travel out through this hole."
Zhou Junjie clapped excitedly, "That makes sense, that makes perfect sense, as expected of you, Jiang Chi."
He clapped his hands twice. "So, what do we do now?"
Jiang Chi rolled his eyes but didn't say anything.
Xia Xiangjun's voice was barely audible, "Senior Zhou, people outside who heard the explosion will definitely send someone to investigate. During this time, protect yourselves, don't get caught by the monster, and wait for someone to come and rescue us."
“That makes sense.” Zhou Junjie nodded repeatedly. “Xia Xiangjun, you’re really smart.”
Anyone with a normal mind could figure it out. Xia Xiangjun sighed helplessly. This neighbor brother of hers had been slow-witted since childhood, but he was rich and foolish.
Jiang Chi got up and dusted himself off.
Zhou Junjie got up as well, "Where are you going again?"
Jiang Chi said calmly, "Find a room to stay in."
“Oh, I get it.” Zhou Junjie’s mind was racing. “The room is the switch that allows monsters to kill. Monsters can only come in by knocking on the door when they are hiding in the room, but they can kill endlessly when they are outside.”
Am I right?
Jiang Chi strode away, saying, "No, the monster has no limit to capturing people. Everyone else has been captured, leaving only the three of us."
This is a big question. He has Buddhist prayer beads, Zhou Junjie has yellow talismans, so why wasn't Xia Xiangjun arrested?
Jiang Chi glanced at the girl behind him. Xia Xiangjun met his gaze and shrank back in fear, "Jiang, Senior Jiang..."
Zhou Junjie looked at the two suspiciously. "Jiang Chi, don't scare your classmates. What are you up to now?"
Jiang Chi looked away. "It feels strange."
"What's strange?" Zhou Junjie pulled Xia Xiangjun along. "You're overthinking it. The monster has disappeared for now. Let's wait patiently for my dad to bring the master to rescue us."
Thump thump thump! Thump thump thump! !
The death knocking sounded again, and Zhou Junjie warily looked around. "Holy crap! The monster's back!"
Jiang Chi pushed open a door and went in first, "Come in quickly!"
Zhou Junjie and Xia Xiangjun rushed over. Just as they were about to close the door, a powerful force overturned the door panel.
Zhou Junjie fell to the ground with a thud, crying out, "Ouch, my back!"
Xia Xiangjun lay on the ground coughing, "cough cough cough..."
Jiang Chi had no time to pay attention to the two of them. The monster approached step by step. "Don't go, you're not allowed to go..."
"That's it again," Jiang Chi asked calmly. "Who exactly are you telling not to leave?"
The monster suddenly went berserk, picked up a table and slammed it in, yelling, "Come back! Come back now!!"
The table hurtled straight at Zhou Junjie; he would be either killed or crippled.
Zhou Junjie tried to dodge but couldn't; he was simply too slow.
Ahh! If he manages to get out of here alive, he'll definitely train harder and get a perfect score on the physical test.
Jiang Chi kicked the table away, yelling, "Get up right now!"
"I can't get up..." Zhou Junjie's legs went weak, and he crawled slowly forward on the ground like a maggot.
Jiang Chi facepalmed; he simply couldn't bear to look.
It can't be carried out, it's completely impossible to carry out.
The monster's eyes were bloodshot. "Don't go, I'm coming, I'm coming..."
It has no skin, and the flesh underneath is completely exposed. With each step it takes, another bloody footprint is left on the ground.
The room was filled with a strong smell of blood and decay. Zhou Junjie vomited as soon as he smelled it.
This smells much worse than the salty, wet smell from the last Ouija board incident.
Thump thump thump!
The monster stretched out its blood-soaked hands, "I'm here, I've finally come..."
"Don't come any closer!!" Zhou Junjie shouted with his eyes closed.
Why not arrest Jiang Chi instead of targeting him?
Could it be that spending too much time with Ji Heng these past few days has caused me to catch his bad luck?
Zhou Junjie was on the verge of tears, clutching the yellow talisman tightly, "Waaaaah... I don't want to die... hiccup... I've never been in a relationship... I still have so much time ahead of me... waaaaah..."
"Aaaaaah!!" The monster suddenly screamed. Zhou Junjie cautiously opened his eyes. "What's going on?"
He looked at the person at the door, his eyes gleaming with hope, "You are that...that master!"
Zhou Junjie knew her; Ji Heng had summoned this master during the Ouija board case.
His IQ spiked at that moment. His father discovered he was missing. Ji Heng heard about this and sought out a master to save him.
He waved excitedly, "Master, help me!!"
Jiang Chi stared at the person at the door. It was just an ordinary girl. Zhou Junjie must be hallucinating.
Zhou Junjie rushed over without hesitation, "Master, did my father ask you to save me?"
"Hmm." Lin Xi slapped him away. "Don't block the way, shut up, and stand quietly."
Zhou Junjie covered his mouth and obediently stayed to the side, while gesturing with his eyes for Xia Xiangjun to come over, as it was safer to be near the master.
Xia Xiangjun wanted to go over, but the monster blocked her way, so she kept backing away.
Zhou Junjie anxiously called out, "Master, these are my classmates and neighbors."
"Understood." Lin Xi, with a yellow talisman between her fingers, appeared in front of the monster.
The monster froze on the spot, its gaze blank for a moment, then, sensing a powerful aura rushing towards it, it fled in panic.
Lin Xi slapped its head with one hand, and the monster screamed twice before turning into a pool of blood and disappearing instantly, as if it had evaporated.
