Chapter 204 Never Regret

Master Shi Kong put his hands together in prayer and said, "Daoist Master, it's been many years. I hope you've been well."

Master Jingyuan shook his head. "No, you are no longer a member of Qingxin Temple, nor are you Huiming's disciple. You traitor!"

He and Huiming had known each other for many years and often played games together.

Huiming is the abbot of Qingxin Temple. He had never taken on any disciples until ten years ago.

He always praised his disciple for being smart, quick to understand, and having a profound knowledge of Buddhism, as well as being naturally compassionate.

But this person betrayed Qingxin Temple, injured Huiming, and ran away with something.

Huiming was devastated. He asked Master Jingyuan to go online and they played the game for three days and three nights. After that, he disappeared without a trace.

Before disappearing, his last words were: "Jingyuan, I'm going to find him. Take good care of yourself from now on, and try not to stay up too late playing games."

When Master Jingyuan woke up after sleeping for a day and a night, the more he looked at the sentence, the more he felt something was wrong.

Who is Huiming referring to as "him"? Is it Qian Jin?

Back then, they were a world-renowned trio: Jingyuan was skilled in swordsmanship, Huiming was skilled in striking the wooden fish drum, and Qianjin was skilled in feng shui.

The three are capable of both offense and defense, and can travel the world without fear of anything.

Now Qian Jin is dead, and Hui Ming has disappeared, leaving behind what appears to be a suicide note.

Master Jingyuan slapped his thigh wildly.

Oh no, Huiming is contemplating suicide!

He rushed down the mountain to look for the person, but instead of finding Huiming, he ran into the traitor.

Master Jingyuan abandoned his nonchalant demeanor and seriously examined the monk at the door. "What exactly do you want?"

Shi Kong smiled and stepped inside.

Bird Flying put her hands on her hips and said, "Stop! This is the Special Administration Bureau. You are not allowed to come in without Brother Leopard's permission."

Shi Kong stopped in his tracks. "I'm sorry, I overlooked that."

He actually obediently retreated, which surprised Master Jingyuan. Huiming's disciple had done something like injuring his master; he shouldn't be so obedient.

Bird Feifei frantically winked at Black Bear, urging him to quickly close the door.

The bear didn't understand what he meant. "Brother Bird, is your eye twitching? Should we call Doctor Bird over?"

Bird Feifei sighed and rubbed her forehead in exasperation. "Sigh, I forgot your name is Bear Blind."

He spread his arms to block the way, saying, "Who goes there? State your name immediately!"

Shi Kong raised an eyebrow. "Ostrich spirit, black bear spirit, the environment in southern Yunnan is quite good. It's indeed a good place to raise so many monsters."

Bird Feifei pouted in thought, recognizing their identities at a glance; this person was no ordinary individual.

He stared intently, but couldn't make out the monk's true face at all.

Pink bubbles floated in my mind. So handsome, incredibly handsome.

Bird Feifei stared blankly, drooling incessantly, "Handsome guy, I like you..."

The bear was startled. "Brother Bird, the monk is a man, and you are a male bird. You can't like him. If the two of you are together, you won't be able to lay ostrich eggs, and the ostrich spirit clan will become extinct."

Bird Feifei's eyes sparkled, and a fluffy little tail grew out of its back. "It's okay."

"No way." The bear grabbed his tail and shook him. "Brother Bird, wake up."

Master Jingyuan sighed, "Two silly demons."

He shouted, "Hey! Let me go! This monk is very strange!"

The bear ignored him, "Brother Bird!"

The bird flew around aimlessly, its beak became sharp, and a pair of small wings grew on its back. It pecked at the tables and chairs as it ran.

"Gaga gaga, I'm here, gaga gaga..."

"Brother Bird, shut up!"

The birds flew away, and the bear chased after them, causing chaos at one point.

Three minutes later, the last table at the Yunnan branch collapsed.

Master Jingyuan was hit by the pressure, but he kicked the table aside and stood up with a sit-up.

Click!

"Holy crap! My back is killing me!"

Immediately afterwards, Bird Flying bumped into his butt, and Master Jingyuan, who had just gotten up, fell again, pinning the little ostrich underneath.

"Bird Bro!!!"

The bear screamed hysterically and quickly grabbed the old man on top, "Brother Bird?"

Bird Feifei was crushed, and he turned back into a little ostrich, lying peacefully on the ground, like a dead bird.

Shi Kong took out a wooden fish and struck it three times.

Thump thump thump—!

The melodious and solemn sound of the wooden fish rang out. Bird Flying coughed a few times, and its eyes regained their clarity. "How did I end up lying on the ground?"

Master Jingyuan shouted, "Stop talking nonsense! With a formidable enemy at hand, unlock my handcuffs."

The bear didn't move, but Bird Feifei was still dizzy. "No, you're a criminal, you can't be let go."

Master Jingyuan shouted at the top of his lungs, "Let me go, or we'll all die at the monk's hands! He's a traitor!"

Shi Kong chuckled, "Daoist Master, monks do not kill, so you don't need to worry."

Master Jingyuan glared at him, "I don't believe you for a second! Where's Huiming? Where did you take him?"

Shi Kong said meaningfully, "Master is right here."

Master Jingyuan shouted out the window, "Huiming, you're here! Get out here now! Your disciple can deal with this himself!"

"Huiming!!"

"Jingyuan, keep your voice down."

A monk in a kasaya emerged from the bushes. He walked with a steady gait, his beard was white, and his eyes were kind.

Huiming was not dead, and Master Jingyuan was relieved. "If you're not dead, why did you disappear?"

Huiming smiled but remained silent.

Master Jingyuan moved forward, "Say something!"

Shi Kong walked step by step toward Hui Ming, his grip on the wooden fish tightening.

Master Jingyuan thought he was going to harm his master.

Huiming is now 62 years old, and his old bones are definitely no match for his traitorous disciple.

Master Jingyuan rushed over anxiously, "Hey, stop right there."

He had just stepped out the door when the person in front of him changed.

Huiming wasn't Huiming at all; he was a young, pretty boy who smiled ingratiatingly at Shikong, "How's my new formation? Fun, isn't it?"
