Chapter 206 A Friend Has Donated a Seat

Huiming remained unmoved, as calm as a mountain.

He struck the wooden fish repeatedly, slowing the zombie swarm's advance, his expression remaining fierce.

"Hohoho!!"

Zombies kept emerging from the bushes, their levels getting higher and higher, some even being ancient corpses.

The formation is a world unto itself, and everything inside is controlled by the one who set it up. The longer you stay, the more dangerous it becomes. To break out of the formation, you must find its weakness and then destroy it in one strike.

Master Jingyuan was filled with regret. "I should have learned some formations from Qian Jin back then. Now I don't even know what kind of formation this is. How am I supposed to get out?"

Huiming remained calm as he tapped the wooden fish, saying, "Stay calm, life and death are predestined. You'll be a hero again in eighteen years."

Master Jingyuan rolled his eyes. "I don't want to meet you in my next life. If I had known you hadn't committed suicide, I wouldn't have come down the mountain to look for you."

Huiming was clearly taken aback. "You came all the way to Yunnan specifically to find me?"

Master Jingyuan denied it three times: "No, no, you misheard. I came to help my disciple fight zombies, and by the way, I checked if you were dead. If you are, I can collect your body."

"Oh." A faint smile appeared on Huiming's face. "I understand."

His hand paused in striking the wooden fish, and several black zombies rushed in.

Master Jingyuan asked in confusion, "Huiming, what are you doing?"

Huiming smiled and said, "This can't go on. I'm getting old. You'd better get up and help me."

Master Jingyuan raised his handcuffed hands, saying, "I can't help at all."

The black zombie rushed in, ignoring everyone else, and only chased after Daoist Jingyuan, screaming as it ran, "Huiming, you did this on purpose, didn't you?!"

Huiming continued striking the wooden fish.

Thump thump thump—!

In the moment of crisis, Master Jingyuan finally remembered Lin Xi, and was momentarily stunned.

"Why are you running around when your grandmaster is here? Just call for reinforcements."

Master Jingyuan took out his phone and made a call, "Grandmaster, help!!"

At this moment, Lin Xi lay on the back of the big cat, looking at the scenery. "The scenery is so beautiful tonight, and the wind is so gentle."

Gu Qingqing excitedly introduced, "Sister, there are many beautiful places in southern Yunnan. I'll take you around tomorrow."

Leopard Coin added, "There are many other delicious foods. I'll cook them myself later and let you taste my cooking."

He walked through a grove of trees, and the dilapidated buildings of the Yunnan Branch came into view.

The house was already dilapidated, but now it's even worse. The front door is collapsed, the only table is broken, and the wind is making a rattling noise from the windows.

Leopard Coin sniffed hard. "Nobody's here."

Lin Xi's eyes sharpened. "There's a formation."

A huge blue barrier covered the sky, very similar to the Eight Gates Golden Lock Formation.

Leopard Coin looked around. "Are Feifei and Bear Blind in that formation too?"

“That’s right.” Lin Xi jumped off the cat’s back. “You guys wait for me outside.”

She tore open the barrier with her bare hands and swaggered inside.

A familiar scream rang out, "Ahhh! My cloak! This is the cloak my junior master gave me! Don't you dare take it!"

Master Jingyuan fled in all directions, followed by a string of zombies—white, black, green, and so on.

He shouted at the top of his lungs, "Great little grandmaster, please show yourself quickly!"

Lin Xi stood to the side with her arms crossed, watching the old man run around.

The cloak of Master Jingyuan was torn with a large hole, revealing his thin chest.

He sensed something, turned around, raised the silver handcuffs, and rushed towards Lin Xi, as if he had seen his beloved mother.

"Young Master, Young Master!!!"

Lin Xi said calmly, "Stop. Don't come near me."

Master Jingyuan obediently followed instructions and ran in a different direction.

If he doesn't obey, the young master will definitely kick him into a pile of zombies.

He gasped, "Grandmaster, zombies... zombies are chasing me... I can't take it anymore..."

Lin Xi slowly took out a thunder talisman. "Old man, you're out of shape. You can't even handle these little zombies. Yun Yan is much stronger than you."

"Yes, yes, yes, my disciple is better than me." Master Jingyuan readily admitted defeat. "Grandmaster, I'm sixty years old, an old man with many bones. After this ordeal, I'm afraid I'll have to go down and find your master..."

"Stop talking nonsense." Lin Xi flicked the talisman from her palm, instantly knocking down a group of zombies.

Master Jingyuan forced a smile, "Thank you, Junior Grandmaster, for saving my life."

Bird Feifei and Bear heard the noise and immediately ran over. "Sister, you're back! Where's Leopard?"

The black and white ostrich flapped its wings, while the big brown bear stared blankly at her. Lin Xi rubbed their heads and said, "The kitten is outside."

Bird Feifei nuzzled against her palm, her voice slightly childish, "Sister, thank you for saving me and Xiongxiong."

The bear, not understanding what was going on, copied his actions, lowered its head and rubbed against Lin Xi's palm, "Sister, I also want to thank you."

This fluffy little cutie calls me "sister" so sweetly, who can resist that?

Lin Xi's heart melted; this trip was worthwhile. "Don't worry, I'll take you out to find the kittens."

The fairies of southern Yunnan are very cute: kittens, mushrooms, bears, and ostriches.

Master Jingyuan pursed his lips, "Little Grandmaster, don't forget about me."

Lin Xi ignored the old man and looked him over. "A simple illusion array... you don't even know how to do this?"

Master Jingyuan, in a fit of despair, sat down on the ground, saying, "My master didn't teach me, I don't know how."

Lin Xi was speechless; the old man had wasted sixty years of his life.

She quickly located the core of the formation and completely destroyed the illusion array.

In a flash, everyone found themselves back in front of the house.

Bird Feifei cried with joy, "Brother Leopard, Qingqing!"

Leopard Coin patted the little ostrich's long neck. "It's good that you're alright."

Master Jingyuan cried out, "Disciple, the key, quickly unlock it."

Yun Yan paused for a few seconds, "The key was given to Little Ostrich, and there's only that one."

Master Jingyuan was furious and sat sulking in the grass.

Huiming put away the wooden fish. "Jingyuan, your silver bracelet is nice. I'm leaving now. Goodbye."

Dare to mock him? Master Jingyuan rolled his eyes. “Little Grandmaster, Huiming is Shikong’s master. We can’t let him leave.”

Lin Xi didn't even look at it before giving the order, "Yun Yan, tie him up first."

"Yes, Junior Grandmaster." Yun Yan took out a new pair of handcuffs. "Master Huiming, please forgive me."

Click! Huiming happily received a pair of silver bracelets.

Master Jingyuan chuckled, “Haha, friends go to jail together.”
