Chapter 27 Big Shot Saves My Life

Zhou Junjie kept shaking, "Face, funny face..."

Ji Heng looked around. "There are no funny faces."

Yes, yes.

Zhou Junjie swallowed hard, then pulled his hand away from the pen with all his might. "I'm not playing anymore, I'm not playing anymore."

Zhang Zhitao's face turned grim. "No, we must get rid of the Ouija board spirit, otherwise..."

With a snap, the light came on.

The four of them fell to the ground together, and laughter from the other members of the club rang out around them.

Zhou Junjie gasped for breath, "What's going on? Who dares to scare me?"

Wen Chengzhou patted him on the shoulder, "It's just a game, don't take it seriously."

"I didn't take it seriously."

Zhou Junjie vehemently denied that he had almost wet his pants just now.

He dusted himself off and looked down at Ji Heng. "Hey! Coward, did you just wet your pants?"

Ji Heng was too lazy to pay him any attention.

The chill I felt at that moment was not an illusion.

Ji Heng warned everyone, "Don't play with the Ouija board again. Just because nothing went wrong this time doesn't mean it won't happen next time..."

Wen Chengzhou interrupted him, "Ji Heng, it's just a game. There's no such thing as a spirit in this world. Everything just now was just a psychological effect."

The five circles on the white paper stood out conspicuously. Ji Heng asked, "How do you explain this?"

Wen Chengzhou smiled and said, "All four of us had our hands on the pen, and someone mischievously pushed the pen too hard and drew a circle."

Ji Heng scratched his head, "But I clearly want to let go..."

"Alright, alright, don't think about it." Wen Chengzhou pulled him up. "I promise you, I'll never play this game again."

After the paranormal club activity ended, the four returned to their dormitory.

After washing up, Ji Heng sat on the bed and looked at Zhang Zhitao opposite him. "What's wrong with you? Still thinking about the Ouija board?"

Zhang Zhitao looked flustered. "We haven't gotten rid of the spirit of the Ouija board yet! We haven't gotten rid of the spirit of the Ouija board!"

Zhou Junjie shouted impatiently, "What a load of rubbish! We're not even sure if there's a spirit in the Ouija board. It's probably just some bastard trying to scare people."

Zhang Zhitao muttered to himself, "If I don't send the Ouija board spirit away, disaster will befall me."

"Stop arguing, it's already midnight, go to sleep, you have class tomorrow morning."

Wen Chengzhou turned off the lights, plunging the dormitory into complete darkness.

A faint, strange smell permeated the air, much like the stench of socks that hadn't been washed for three months—a sour, slightly salty, and damp odor.

Ji Heng frowned deeply, cursing inwardly.

That idiot Zhou Junjie doesn't wash his feet again, they stink!

He got used to the smell and fell fast asleep, clutching his blanket.

Thump thump thump—

In a daze, Ji Heng heard a knocking sound on the bed board, and he turned over.

"Idiot, shut up."

"Whoosh..."

Zhou Junjie's eyes widened, and he desperately shouted for help.

But the thing on his body was tightly gripping his neck, and he couldn't make a sound at all.

Zhou Junjie was terrified and kicked the bed board with all his might.

The thumping in Ji Heng's ears grew louder, and he sat up irritably. "Zhou Junjie, what are you up to?"

Those cold hands loosened their grip slightly, and Zhou Junjie screamed until his throat was hoarse.

"Help--!!"

Ji Heng instantly snapped out of it and quickly got up to turn on the light. He pressed the button countless times, but the light didn't respond at all.

He gripped the amulet tightly as he approached Zhou Junjie's bed.

"Hey, you idiot!"

Upon seeing the scene on the bed, Ji Heng's pupils contracted.

Zhang Zhitao straddled Zhou Junjie's abdomen, his ten fingers gripping Zhou's neck tightly, a ferocious smile on his face.

Zhou Junjie was more angry than he was actually breathing, and he kept rolling his eyes.

Holy crap!

Ji Heng subconsciously tossed out a peace charm.

"Ahhh!!"

Zhang Zhitao let out a scream, and the amulet emitted black smoke as it touched the ground.

Zhang Zhitao slowly turned his head. "You dare hurt me! Die!"

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Zhou Junjie broke free from his control, rolled off the bed onto the floor, and landed right next to Ji Heng.

"Cough cough cough..."

Zhou Junjie, with snot and tears streaming down his face, didn't care about anything else and grabbed Ji Heng's leg, crying, "Help... Zhang Zhitao has gone mad, he's gone mad."

Zhang Zhitao gave a sinister smile, "You...die!!"

He spread his five fingers and attacked with incredible speed.

Ji Heng couldn't even see his shadow clearly. He was screaming "Damn it!" in his mind, but he couldn't run away because Zhou Junjie was holding his legs down tightly.

Ji Heng cursed, "You idiot, get the hell up!"

Zhou Junjie's voice trembled, "My legs are weak, I can't get up."

Ji Heng watched helplessly as Zhang Zhitao appeared in front of them and reached out to grab his neck.

At the critical moment, he emitted a faint golden light.

Zhang Zhitao abruptly pulled his hand back, and his scream became even more agonizing.

"Aaaaah! You! Die, die!!"

Ji Heng patted his chest.

Fortunately, the big shot's amulet saved my life.

Before he could even catch his breath, Zhang Zhitao turned around and charged straight at Wen Chengzhou.

Ji Heng knew something was wrong. "Wen Chengzhou, get up quickly and run!!"

Wen Chengzhou rubbed his eyes, looking completely bewildered. "Ji Heng, what are you two arguing about in the middle of the night?"

Before he could finish speaking, Zhang Zhitao suddenly appeared behind him.

In a moment of desperation, Ji Heng grabbed his shoe and threw it at Wen Chengzhou, yelling, "Wen Chengzhou, squat down!"

*Smack!* The shoe struck Zhang Zhitao squarely in the face, filling the entire space with a foul stench.

"Ugh..."

Zhou Junjie couldn't hold it in and vomited, "Ji Heng, your shoes are a biological weapon, ugh..."

Ji Heng looked pale and kicked him away, saying, "Get lost! My feet don't smell bad, this is clearly the smell of that ghost."

He looked at the stunned Wen Chengzhou and said, "Come here, I have a big shot's life-saving charm."

Wen Chengzhou's eyes darkened. "Ji Heng, thank goodness we have you, otherwise we would be dead."
