Chapter 362 Strange Singing

The hot spring pool was bustling with activity.

Next door, Little Water and Little Fire started a water fight, each throwing a splash at the other.

Little Fire was being beaten unilaterally, and ran around in a panic, covering his head, yelling, "Ahhh! I'm not playing anymore!"

Little Water throws out a huge jet of water, saying, "Your word doesn't count, let's keep playing."

The water leaped high and then fell back down, scattering a flock of little yellow ducks.

Little Tu lay on the lifebuoy and counted, "One duck, two ducks, three ducks..."

Xiao Mu patted him on the shoulder from behind, "Hey!"

What are you doing?

Xiao Tu turned around, and a large clump of water hit him right on the forehead, soaking him to the bone.

The owner has cast a spell so the clothes won't get wet, but the hair, like a human's, will get wet, grow, and burn.

Blood may flow, but hairstyle must not be messed up!

Little Tu wiped the water off his head, dropped the little yellow duck in his hand, and chased after the little elf in front of him.

"Stop right there!"

Xiao Mu stuck out her tongue. "If you're so capable, catch up with me. Hey... I'll run, I'll run again."

The little dog paddled slowly forward, moving forward in a paddling motion, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't catch up.

He had just swum to the left when Xiao Mu darted to the right, like a crazed loach.

Little Tu said sullenly, "Once I learn to swim, I'll definitely catch you next time, hmph!"

Xiao Mu raised her pinky finger and said in a cheeky tone, "TuTu, come and chase me! You'll never catch me, hehehe~~"

Xiao Tu, fueled by a fierce competitive spirit, clung to his lifebuoy and paddled furiously, shouting, "Here I come!"

A mysterious force rose from underwater, dragging his body forward at a speed comparable to that of a shark.

Xiao Mu didn't react in time and was knocked to the bottom of the water, swallowing a mouthful of spring water.

Xiao Tu gripped his arm tightly, "Yay, I caught him!"

Xiao Mu opened his mouth wide, "Pah! Brother Jin is cheating! He only helps Xiao Tu and not me! There's no love in this family anymore! I'm going to complain to the master!"

"Master, where are you?"

Xiao Jin blocked his way, "Master and Bao went to change clothes, don't disturb them."

Xiao Mu's eyes darted around, and she noticed something was slightly off. "Huh, why does it take so long to change clothes? Are Master and Bao sneaking food behind our backs?"

He stretched out his little paw, his smile meaningful, "Brother Jin, let's hurry and find Master and Bao. What if they've been captured by a monster?"

Xiao Jin frowned; it had indeed taken quite a while.

The owner used to be able to change clothes in just three seconds, but now he's been gone for over an hour and hasn't come back yet.

Suspicious, highly suspicious.

Xiao Jin raised his hands high, "Gather together, find your master."

When it comes to their master, the little elves put away their playful expressions and become extremely serious.

"Brother Jin, we've lined up."

Xiao Jin took the lead, "Let's go."

As soon as I opened the door, a strange singing voice rang in my ears.

"Tick-tock~ Tick-tock~ La la↑ La la la la la la↓ Ah tick-tock..."

Her unique voice is like the call of the sea, melodious and ethereal, dreamlike and enchanting, as if the sea breeze pierces through layers of clouds and touches the heart, making people intoxicated.

Xiao Tu's eyes were glazed over, and she felt as if she had become a mermaid soaring through the air.

He drooled as he exclaimed, "Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous..."

Xiao Shui was stunned for a moment, but quickly came to her senses. She gathered azure water droplets in her palm and wove a water net to block the singing.

The voice seemed to sing in one's soul; once heard, it was unforgettable.

A dull pain shot through her chest. Xiao Shui gritted her teeth, trying her best to stay awake.

"Brother Jin, the singing is off, quickly find the owner."

Xiao Jin clenched his fist, a faint halo emanating from his body, and tapped Xiao Huo's head hard. "Wake up!"

One punch landed, and a bump swelled up on his head.

Little Fire cried out, "Brother Jin, be gentler next time!"

"Okay." Xiao Jin shook Xiao Tu vigorously. "Wake up, or I'll knock some on your head."

Xiao Tu was dizzy and hurriedly shouted, "He's awake! He's awake! Save Xiao Mu!"

Xiao Mu remained motionless, as if captivated by the song.

Xiao Jin raised his fist, and a familiar voice exploded in his ear, "Brother Jin, stop! I'm not dizzy at all."

Xiao Mu took a step back and breathed a sigh of relief.

Jin Ge's behavior is becoming more and more like that of the master.

When in doubt, settle things with fists.

Xiao Jin asked, "Why are you standing still?"

Xiao Mu bit her lower lip. "I'm thinking... I'll find my master first and discuss it together."

Xiao Tu was extremely anxious. "Where is our master? Why didn't he come looking for us when he heard the strange singing?"

"Don't rush."

Xiao Mu covered the roadside weeds with the power of the Wood Spirit and asked softly, "Grass, have you seen your master?"

The grass bent down, pointing east.

"Thank you, Grass."

Xiao Mu's expression was serious. "Come with me."

The singing echoed throughout the corridor, its tone suddenly dropping to a low pitch, as if it were weeping.

Xiao Tu glanced around nervously, "He cried."

Xiao Shui covered her ears. "Whether it's crying or laughing, just don't listen. What did Master do here?"

The wooden door was tightly closed, the candlelight was dim, and the atmosphere was strangely ambiguous.

Xiao Shui felt something was off. "Should we kick the door down?"

Xiao Mu, who was usually bold, was very cautious this time. He pressed his ear against the door and listened carefully.

"Shh..."

Click! The door opened.

Xiao Mu bumped headfirst into Lin Xi's arms, forcing an awkward smile. "Hi, Master, good evening. Did you have fun... ptooey! Did you enjoy yourself?"

Lin Xi said calmly, "Go back to your original position."

"oh."

Xiao Mu was puzzled; it was rare for his master to let him go so easily without causing trouble.

Little Tu spread its arms and ran, "Master, I miss you so much."

Lin Xi dodged his hug, put her hands behind her back, and asked casually, "What are you doing standing here?"
