Lin Xi paused for a moment, then waved and greeted, "Good morning."
The man gazed at her. "One in the morning, of course it's early."

Fu Jingyao paused for two seconds, then said, "I'll wait for you."

"No need." Lin Xi turned the dish upside down on the rice, took a bite, and said, "Mmm, this is the taste."
Fu Jingyao stood quietly to the side.
Lin Xi picked up the bowl. "Do you want some?"
Fu Jingyao shook his head; he never ate late-night snacks.
He sat down and watched her eat.
Linxi was especially happy when she ate, her cheeks puffed out like a little hamster guarding its food.
As he looked at it, Fu Jingyao suddenly wanted to try it.
He picked up his chopsticks and took a piece of green vegetable.
Lin Xi hurriedly called out, "Wait, this is what's left in my bowl, it's very..."
"It doesn't matter."
Fu Jingyao took a bite, and the spiciness shot straight from the tip of his tongue to the top of his head, instantly turning his face red.

Lin Xi quickly poured a glass of water. "What I meant was super, incredibly spicy. I just added five spoonfuls of chili sauce, didn't you see?"
Fu Jingyao drank three glasses of water before the spiciness in his mouth lessened a bit.

Lin Xi poured another glass of water. "How about I get you some medicine?"

Fu Jingyao took the glass of water and drank it all in one gulp.
A few beads of sweat appeared on the man's forehead. Lin Xi took out a tissue and wiped them off for him. "Don't push yourself. Call me if you have any problems. Trust my medical skills."
"Okay, sure."
