Chapter 399 The Jiang family has never lost a child.

After finishing his call, Jiang Chi silently returned to the sofa, his eyes showing faint dark circles, and he was getting increasingly sleepy.

Last night, he stayed up all night in the lab designing something, without sleeping for 24 hours, and his brain was about to shut down.

I'm so sleepy...

The silver-white floor tiles reflected a tired face; the boy was dozing off with his head down, almost falling to the ground.

Lin Xi glanced at him. "Go to sleep if you're sleepy. Do I have to teach you something so simple?"

A cold voice rang in his ears, and Jiang Chi became more alert. He put one hand in his pocket, his face cold.

"Mind your own business, I like sleeping like this."

"what ever."

Lin Xi picked up her teacup and casually called to Aunt Wang beside her, "Make me another cup of tea, thank you."

Aunt Wang was very hospitable. She brought out a pot of tea and said, "Young lady, please tell me what you would like to drink or eat. Please go ahead."

Lin Xi was extremely embarrassed when she heard this address. "Just call me Lin Xi, don't use such a strange address."

Jiang Chi couldn't help but smile, "Haha, I think the silly nickname my second brother gave you is pretty good."

Lin Xi gently patted the table, "If you like it, you can have it. Sister Wang, quickly call Miss Jiang Chi."

Aunt Wang looked left and right, put down her teacup and ran off, saying, "I'm going to prepare breakfast; Madam Jiang will wake up soon."

Jiang Chi yawned, his eyelids were wet, giving him a somewhat soft and cute look.

"Don't make things difficult for Sister Wang, she wouldn't dare."

Lin Xi poured herself a cup of tea and savored it slowly. "If I'm really sleepy, I should go to sleep. Sudden death has nothing to do with me."

Jiang Chi snorted coldly, "I'm going to sleep. Goodbye."

She spoke softly to her second brother, but retorted to him with every word.

This woman is hypocritical; what is he doing sitting here?

She's a master of metaphysics; all her uncles and elders combined can't keep up with her, so there's no need to worry.

I'm sleepy, I'm going upstairs to sleep.

Jiang Chi took a couple of steps and then turned back, raising his chin slightly. "Just a reminder, don't wander off. I'll be down in ten minutes."

Lin Xi waved her hand, "I understand, you're concerned about your sister."

Jiang Chi's hand trembled slightly in his pocket, as if someone had seen through his secret, and he ran away without looking back.

He retorted firmly, "No, don't make things up!"

The boy's back view revealed a hint of panic. Lin Xi glanced at him, then focused on the tea in her hand.

The aloof eldest brother, the clumsy second brother, the arrogant younger brother, and the invincible her.

What kind of parents would raise four children with very different personalities?

I'm a little curious.

Lin Xi took a sip of tea and waited for the other person to return.

Ten minutes later, a loud shout came from the doorway, "Sister, I'm back!!"

Jiang Ji ran wildly with his arms outstretched, revealing a set of neat white teeth, like a bird spreading its wings and soaring high.

He leaned on the sofa, panting, his voice a little hoarse, "All five have been notified and are on their way."

First he went to his eldest uncle's house, then to the houses of his two other uncles, and finally he barged into the main courtyard shouting.

Once they get excited, they forget all about etiquette.

Grandpa ordered his men to arrest him.

Luckily, he was quick-witted and ran away after shouting.

Jiang Ji poured himself a bottle of water, his eyes sparkling. "Little sister, they thought I was going crazy, so I had to bring up my older brother. He'll be here soon."

No sooner had he finished speaking than a dozen people rushed in.

At first glance, it's impossible to tell who's who; they all look like they were copied and pasted, sharing the same face.

In comparison, the Jiang Ting, Jiang Ji, and Jiang Chi lineage stands out in appearance, inheriting only the best features.

Lin Xi tactfully stated, "The appearances of the other four families are very abstract."

Jiang Ji shook his head. "No, they are bodyguards for the Jiang family. They are just average-looking."

In Lin Xi's memory, bodyguards were all dressed in suits and were strong and muscular, like Qi Wenye.

These people were very hasty; some were tall and thin, others were short and stout, as if they were extras just brought in from outside.

"Oh!"

A disdainful laugh rippled through the crowd, and a dozen or so people dispersed. A long-faced man slowly stepped forward; half of his hair was white, and he wore a jade wrench on his thumb.

He rubbed his thumb, his sharp gaze sweeping over the person. "You dare impersonate a member of the Jiang family?!"

The first sentence questions his identity and suppresses his arrogance.

Jiang Ji roared back, "She's my sister, she didn't impersonate me, stop talking nonsense."

The long-faced man sneered but didn't speak.

Two more men, who looked exactly alike and were relatively young, appeared behind him.

Square face, thin lips, cold and piercing eyes, one with a mole on the left cheek, the other with a mole on the right cheek.

The man with the mole on his right cheek scolded, "Jiang Ji, you've learned no manners at all; you can't even greet people properly."

Jiang Ji rolled his eyes and rolled up his sleeves, ready to fight.

It's fine to scold him normally, but I have to scold him back today since my sister is here.

What a bully who picks on the weak and fears the strong!

At that moment, Jiang Ji's IQ soared.

He said sarcastically, "My teacher taught me to speak human language to humans and dog language to dogs. Do you even deserve to be my elder?"

"you--!"

The man with the mole on his right cheek was furious; his chest trembled violently.

Unable to win the argument, he complained to the man next to him, "Look at this willful young master, he's completely forgotten about etiquette and hierarchy. We are his elders!"

The man with the mole on his left smiled, looking kind and approachable. "You're the elder, don't hold it against the younger generation. We're family, no need for formalities."

You can't hit someone who's smiling.

The tense atmosphere instantly eased.

Jiang Ji whispered, "The one with the long face is my eldest uncle, Jiang Congming, and the twins are my two uncles, Jiang Congye and Jiang Congyue. Anyway, I can't tell them apart, and you don't need to either."

Lin Xi glanced at this one, then at that one, her expression indescribable.

Jiang Congming, as the eldest brother, spoke first, "What are you standing there for? Sit down! Don't disturb Father until we understand the situation."
