Ji Heng drove to pick up the person.
A silver car was parked at the entrance of the residential area.
He looked up and saw Imperial Garden!
The big shot lives in such a luxurious place, yet still sets up a stall every day; his level of thinking is beyond the reach of ordinary people.
"Imperial Garden..." he murmured to himself, "This place looks so familiar. My brother seems to live here. I hope I won't run into him."
Ji Heng shuddered. He didn't want to meet this cousin because Fu Jingyao was too outrageous.
Ever since kindergarten, he had always heard about this guy's amazing deeds.
He skipped three levels in a row, was always number one in everything, earned 100 million at the age of thirteen, dominated the business world at twenty, and had a net worth of hundreds of billions...
Ji Heng just wanted to lie down and be a happy academic underachiever.
A mediocre student is naturally a little scared when they see a genius.
He and Fu Jingyao were only six years apart, yet there was a vast galaxy between them.
Ji Heng was particularly afraid of this cousin, who could joke around with him in front of his parents.
But he dared not say a word in front of Fu Jingyao.
That superior aura completely overwhelmed him; he hoped he would never run into this cousin.
Why is the big shot living in the same place as Fu Jingyao? Could there be something going on between them?
Ji Heng shook his head violently, "Impossible! It's a coincidence, it must be a coincidence. These two people are completely unrelated, how could they possibly be connected?"
Lin Xi knocked on the car window. "What are you muttering about?"
"No, it's nothing." Ji Heng opened the car door. "Boss, get in quickly."
Lin Xi sat in the back seat with her eyes closed, resting. "Let's go, let's catch the ghost as soon as possible and come back sooner."
"OK."
Ji Heng swallowed hard and drove towards the film and television base.
The two got out of the car, and Ji Heng said as they walked, "Boss, my friend is a director. He's filming a suspense drama, and a few days ago he discovered that props from the crew kept going missing, and then..."
"Young Master Ji!"
Ji Heng looked in the direction of the voice, "Little Fatty, long time no see."
Director Lei waved excitedly, "You've finally arrived!"
Ji Heng looked him up and down. "Little Fatty, you've lost weight again."
He and Little Fatty were very close; they often played games together when they were kids.
The chubby boy was a few years older than him. He didn't like studying finance, nor did he want to inherit the family business. In the end, he was admitted to the directing department and entered the entertainment industry as a director.
This is his third film as a director, a bizarre and unpredictable story.
The first two films were very well received, and Xiaopang won the Best New Director Award.
Little Fatty isn't fat anymore, but Ji Heng still habitually calls him Little Fatty.
"Little Fatty, how have you been these past few days?"
Director Lei's expression froze. "Young Master, don't call me Little Fatty in front of others. It damages my image."
Ji Heng pouted, "You're not allowed to call me Young Master either."
"Alright, alright, my young master." Director Lei patted his shoulder, his gaze falling on the person next to him.
At first glance, she has delicate features, fair skin, and an ethereal气质; she could be directly cast as the female lead in a production.
Director Lei was somewhat surprised, "Xiao Heng, who is she?"
Ji Heng raised his chin slightly and solemnly introduced, "This big shot is an incredibly powerful metaphysical master who saved my life twice."
"She is the world's number one fortune teller, a living deity of our time, a master of divine calculation, with extraordinary skills and superb magic."
"Little Fatty, oh no, Little Lei, you must have accumulated three lifetimes of good fortune to have the honor of meeting the big boss. Hurry up and bow to the big boss to show your sincerity."
Lin Xi covered her face in embarrassment; this kid was too good at talking.
Director Lei trusted Ji Heng completely, believing it to be a necessary ritual.
He immediately bowed at a 90-degree angle, then bowed again, and then bowed a third time.
Lin Xi raised her hand to stop her, "No need for bowing, let's get down to business."
Director Lei stood at attention and said, "Boss, I hope you can save my film."
"Just call me Master." Lin Xi glanced at him. "Let's talk as we walk. I'll take a look at the feng shui here."
"Master, please." Director Lei approached Ji Heng and whispered, "Master, you're so skilled, you even know feng shui?"
Ji Heng proudly raised his chin, "Of course, the boss is invincible and powerful, no one can beat her."
Director Lei looked him over suspiciously; the simpleton was just lucky.
"Where did you meet this person?"
"Mind your own business," Ji Heng said in a low voice. "I helped you, so the figurine from last time is mine."
"Alright, alright."
Lei was a little heartbroken; those were limited edition figurines, only ten in the world.
He knew that Little Fatty and Young Master's friendship was not without reason.
"What are you two whispering about?" Lin Xi turned around. "After a preliminary check, the feng shui seems fine."
"Thank you, Master." Director Lei breathed a sigh of relief. "Master, it's like this, the crew started filming about two weeks ago..."
His third film as a director, "The Mysterious Storm," is one that Director Lei is very confident in, and he believes it will definitely be a hit.
After filming began, everything went smoothly, but the props kept mysteriously disappearing.
Director Lei was furious and ordered the props team to take good care of all the props and to record their whereabouts every day.
Seven days ago, the prop master rushed out in a panic, "Director, the props can fly! I saw the props fly by themselves..."
Director Lei didn't believe him; how could an inanimate object possibly fly?
If the physics teacher finds out, he'll definitely have to relearn it.
"Trust science, don't talk nonsense."
Director Lei continued filming, and the props from the crew would still disappear, especially the fluffy items.
This suspense drama requires the use of many dolls to enhance the sense of horror.
One by one, the dolls went missing, and Director Lei felt something was wrong. Who would steal dolls for no reason?
Is it a ghost?
No, no, no, believe in science, believe in physics.
Director Lei sent people to buy props so they could continue filming. The location fee was very expensive, and they couldn't afford to delay even a day.
